A pair of Thiel cs 2.4 loudspeakers, powered by the big Mark Levinson 336 amplifier. We still use the Wadia 581, and the pre amp stage in the wadia as well. Balanced connected.

Do you ever find that you feel like you've lost the ability to just sit and enjoy the music? That you're always listening for imperfections in the sound? I keep my very first "semi-high end" system in my basement, and it seems like when I listen down there, I'm able to forget about the gear and just...listen to the music. Any thoughts?

Are you sure that's the artist? The name of the song is right. The singer sounds like Louis Armstrong. The plunger trumpet adds class to the music. LOVE the music.

@mozartfx1 I guess it´s all in one´s head... there´s days that everything sounds awfull, you keep swappin´ cd´s just to get even more disappointed...
But there are days when I couldn´t care less about imperfections (more or less...) and just tap my foot to the sound because it sounds great...
In a really bad day, I can´t listen seriously to music. What sould we do???
