    Thanks for showing how easy and quick it is! I just bought a Terrain and the rubber trim surrounding the windows is a bit beat from the sun. Now I know how to approach this properly. :)

    Hi just wondering have you tried a produce called CeraTrim from The Last Coat? I was just wondering how your product compared to it if you have as im trying to find something that fixes my faded rubbers around my doors, thanks.

    Will this fix the rubber "streaks" that run down the side of a car? I have a CVPI P71 that has white paint. However when it rains or when I wash my car, it tends to stain the paint.

    Will it work on grey gray

    I think product "303" is the best "affordable" product for both rubber and plastic trim. It doesn't just clean but absorbs into the rubber to protect it, and add longevity to the rubber. Example - new V-Belt. Let it soak in "303" for ten minutes, wipe it off and let it dry (30-60 mins) and install. The V-Belt will now last 50% longer than without "303". I've seen tests that verify this. But also This is just an opinion, not affiliated with "303" car products. I just think they are one of the few products on the market that exceeded my expectations. The bottom line - "303" works as intended. Good stuff, but is another $5-$8 more than other comparable brands, and that's a small amount to have a product perform beyond your expectations. You don't get that often in the world of auto aftermarket products.

    Do you have to clean or prep the rubber before applying this ?

  • @en3rgy187
    @en3rgy187 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I liked and subscribed. How often... about.... do you need to reapply this if that truck lives outside rather than covered or a garage?

    • @AndysAutoCarePlus
      @AndysAutoCarePlus  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, you could reapply as often as you would like. What I’ve noticed is about every six months needs a fresh application to stay looking like it should. Thanks for subscribing.

    I have a 04 Lincoln LS with similar rubber trim around windows. It's becoming pretty dry, some areas are completely dried and chipped off, exposing the chrome beneath. I also got some nu polish on it. Any hope to fix these?
    Also, is this something can be purchased? I'm not finding much info online
    Thank you

    Would you suggest using tape if you don't want any of the solution to smear on your vehicle paint?

      I have done it this way before and it does help. One tip I could give you is put bead maker on the paint before hand then it makes cleaning up super easy

      Works best on the abs style plastics. Doesn’t provide much uv protection so I always follow up with this :amzn.to/49Q8Yb8

    So can that remove the gunk that builds up on the rubber window trim in the sun? It looks like mold/mildew, but won't clean off with soap or bleach. It's rough to the touch, but the seal itself is still very pliable.

    How long does this last? I know that jojoba oil works for a while if you let it soak in and buff off the oxidation on the outside of the rubber, but it sometimes only lasts a few days or weeks.

    • @AndysAutoCarePlus

    and for that ole black plastic trim that is now gray ... mix 1/2 baby oi gel and 1/2 mineral oil together and apply it with a soft cloth and it will look better than new in less than a second and it will last quite a long time !

    • @AndysAutoCarePlus

      It won’t fix the cracking, but it should help bring it back to black if that was the original color

    • @AndysAutoCarePlus

      It will stay nice and black for several rains or several months. It’s essentially hydrating the rubber.

    I don't know how "legit" this is, but have seen a couple TH-cam videos where a guy used ashes from a cigarette plus super glue, to fix plastic molding and pieces on a car interior??
