He was actually eligible to be on the World Series roster but he wasn’t included
If Melky wasn’t suspended, the Giants might not have traded for Hunter Pence, who was instrumental in their WS runs
Melky’s 1st half production was basically replaced by Scutaro’s 2nd half production, which certainly helped the Giants win the WS that year

You forgot to mention how he snuck out of the clubhouse of the Giants when suspended without telling anyone anything. After that, it was pretty clear from the Giants organization that he wouldn't be coming back for the playoffs after his suspension was over. Melky was exciting to watch for the first half of 2012 but deep down he wasn't a team player and he was disrespectful to fans. The Giants wanted nothing to do with him after that.

He made error after error and of course when he came up to bat it was like, “well here’s an out” and then 2009 came around and he was clutch!!! His numbers for 09 don’t speak the volumes he was to that 09 team. Numerous times he would get the game tying hit or to take the lead in crucial moments!! And his walk off hits too. It was like he saved his hits for clutch moments lol i was so sad when they traded him that offseason

What was the deal with Cabrera's batting average in 2012? His teammate Buster Posey won the batting title at .336, but was Cabrera's .346 disallowed, or was it simply him missing the required 502 plate appearances by 1? Regardless, he made almost $73 million in his career, so my guess he doesn't really give a crap...

Testosterone definitely doesn’t make you a better hitter.. so really it has nothing to do whether or not his hot streak would have continued.. maybe it made some of the balls he hit travel a bit farther.. but him using testosterone did not allow him to make contact he previously was unable to. Of course PED’s don’t belong in the sport, but some people, mostly those who never played the sport at anything above little league, are truly delusional about what types of advantages PED’s can give you.

The Giants got 113 games of MVP-caliber production from a player who was a proven cheater. The Giants organization absolutely benefitted from Cabrera's enhanced performance, yet received no punishment as an organization. Who's to say they even make the playoffs without Cabrera's contributions throughout the first 2/3 of the season? That's the problem with these PED rules - there is no downside to employing juicers. If they get caught, no big deal. They don't take wins off the board or disqualify teams from the playoffs.
