Spend Valentine's Day with Me (as someone who is single and socially anxious) - vlog

So I spent Valentine's Day by myself and wanted to film a mini vlog about what I did and how I feel about Valentine's Day. 🫶
I have a lot of mixed feelings about vday because while I love love itself, I don't like how there's an emphasis to show off things to other people through physical means... not to mention the pressure some people are under to "prove" their love.
I may be talking out of my butt because Valentine's Day is what you make of it (just like any other day) and I'm just being pessimistic 😭
Anyways, I had a pretty nice and relaxing (and boring) Valentine's Day and I'm pretty happy about it! Now that I'm getting older, I'm kind of getting fond of things I considered to be "boring" when I was in my early 20s.
It just goes to show that you don't need anything fancy or over the top to be happy. All you need is cake. ❤️

who said we can't celebrate self-love? I feel like all kinds of love should be celebrated this day. I just had some nice food and dressed up in my room as a date with myself, a day late for valentine's but valentine's day is just an excuse to celebrate love if we ignore the capitalistic aspect of it.
