Bruh it has 2l engine .one should not more 12-14kmpl.
It might even give single digit mileage .

This is called proper RPM utilization while driving
On highway with top gears rpm between 1500 -2000 chance of 17 - 20kmpl+ is 99% sure

@@manishkaushal1972 ofcourse, u will get 26kmpl in TATA TIAGO, It's a 1000kgs less car and with careful driving and Maintanence of the car, it will get good figure. Happy that u r getting 26kmpl on a petrol from a Tata Tiago 1000ks less car. It's supposed to get but people always hard accelerate and lower down the mileage. 👍

I booked petrol automatic but ur test drive changed my review.so I cancelled the order of petrol automatic because it gives only 8 km per litre.diesel gives 16 km per litre .huge difference sir.also ur way is really awesome
You booked diesel AT or MT, I am doing the same - cancelling the petrol AT and confused between Diesel MT or AT. Have you considered the maintenance diff in a diesel and petrol

Sir I saw all videos did you and other ones but there is little bit confusion in my mind , as per your test milage is around 17 kmpl but as per motor octane channel avg is 11 kmpl with same speed n all parameters , so is d thar delivering 17kmpl , because i am looking for purchase of thar but due to avg confusion i am not able to decide , so please guide me regarding avg

Thanks for the video... But you should have mentioned that this average is when u r running with cruise control on...with cruise mode on highway we are bound to get 1/2 kmpl more than the normal.. 👍🏻

Given the low end torque, 9+ in city will be possible. 6th gear will also mean 14-15 on open roads

Because the diesel engine is 2200 cc so the average is pretty good. It would be very interesting to see the average for the petrol version because there the engine is 2000cc.

Now u want to know how to increased the mileage.
I am sure u want to.
1. Increase the tyre pressure to 38PSI+ so the rolling resistance will be more free
2. When ever u see a slow moving traffic drive in the top gear (4th gear) even at 25kmpl speed.
3. When there is a road decline surface, put the car in Neutral and let the car go slow in a gradual way, why I am telling you is that, when the car is put in Neutral, the RPM will be in 800rpm. So the engine consume less fuel.
4. AC depending on weather if u r travelling alone.
5. No hard accelerating.
6. Always change gear within 1200rpm always.
You know some thing . I20 car, not only i20 all cars, can make up to 30kmph without any Acceleration and only by clutch release in all the 5 gears, that is why a red colour mark is given at 30kmph. Check ur speedometer.
Ok. Hope this tip will 70% increase ur mileage.

@@AP-fc6mb I won't say a number. But I will tell u this. The MILEAGE numbers are all not been given by the CAR, it's been CREATED BY THE DRIVER. if it's a AT or MT, all are under the Feet of the Driver and Maintanence 😎👍

Where you using Curise Control... while driving..? and the Road you used was the straight road.. no hilly section no much turns.. right?
There were numerous ups and downs due to flyovers on this expressway. We had one small hill section too - but why do u ask

Such One factor is to maintain engines rotation per minute within s range of 1500 - 2000..
