- We took the new Mahindra Thar for an off-roading session at ORAZ, Gurgaon. This was the diesel automatic version in stock form. Really performs well off the road :)

Nice video 👍. Yes, Difflocks in this car seem to have been perfected on both the axles. Mahindras were always plagued with wider turning circle radius for their 4wd versions. How does this car fair?
Turbos & automatics were tricky business. U know, the need to deal with 2 lags. 1 from the turbo & the other from the autobox. Mahindras usually reduced the engine power for the auto version inorder to achieve linear flow of power 😅. How is it like here? Thanks.
Gone are those days of cheating Indian customers by giving them raised hatchbacks by sticking plastics on the body and selling as SUVs. Kudos Mahindra...You are the true Indian Company.

Why is there no Thar convertible rooftop off Doing off-road? How wonderful it would have been to see though.
In real life hardly you will use any of the extra gears and the angle stuff shown on the screen
You people are giving an unnecessary hype of the new thar. No doubt the vehicle seems to be good. But review supporting over pricing is a thumbs down. 👎 15-17 lakh ex-showroom price is way too much. We expect a maximum of 15 lakhs that too, onroad. Plz don't hype! We know u are sold.
