Only The Strong is a gem that few know about as is the film's star, Mark Dacascos. What a great film featuring a charismatic star who I felt could've actually matched (gulp!) JCVD as far as MA skill goes and maybe even surpass as an actor. The guy has/had an ass-kicking Keanu Reeves/Brandon Lee edge to him.

Jean Claude had a more impressive physique (harder, more sturdy looking) by a bit and Dacascos was ultimately more agile and had more moves in his prime. I feel that Dacascos was Brandon Lee 2.0; guy with handsome asiatic facial looks, white guy beach body and serious moves. He was what Brandon should have grown into but did not have the time.

When he played in Wolf of Wall Street with the goatee, I was like, he could be the next Remo Williams. Of course nobody can replace Fred Ward because he's aweomse, but I think Jon may able to carry the torch and make a series of Remo Wiliams movies. Fred Ward could come back and play Jon's father. - Thanks for posting my comment on this video, its well appreciated. I'm very interested in hearing what Lambert has to say about Seagal vs JC. Although I have an idea on who he would pick. Lol
    - As far as what Lambert had to say about Dux, I'm not surprised at all that Dux took credit for something he DID NOT do. That's funny, Dux never set foot on The Quest movie set but claimed to the world that he was the movie's stunt coordinator. One of MANY MANY LIES of Frank Dux. Its shameful how someone could lie about so many things but at the same time capitalize monetarily on all of those lies.

Could you also ask Steven about the rumor that The Quest was intended to become a franchise? I read that there was a plan for Sequels but the Frank Dux lawsuit against Van Damme and the fact the film wasn't a HUGE global hit derailed those plans. is that true? Did Van Damme and the producers want to do more with the character Van Damme was playing in the Quest?
Another question too, was Peter McDonald the 'true' director of the film?...Van Damme got a lot of credit as director but i read that he didn't really know what he was doing and it was a tough shoot for everyone as a result and that Peter had to step up and get everything together and Van Damme got the credit for promotional purposes.
