I'm from an older generation, so when Bloodsport came out, I had already gone through an intense phase of being inspired by Bruce Lee in my youth. For whatever reason, I was not particularly inspired when I first saw Bloodsport. That said, I certainly understand how monumental it can be when you're young and you see that one martial arts movie that rocks your world and inspires you to be your best self. For me, it was Enter the Dragon. For Viking Samurai and his generation, it was Bloodsport. I honor and appreciate your experience. Thanks for sharing.
I grew up and started martial arts before Bloodsport and was influenced by Lee and Norris in the dragon series and studied in a Norris school in the 70s.
Well , I was inspired by both. I was into Bruce Lee and movies like Big Trouble in little China, The Last Dragon.. even the show Side Kicks. When I saw JCVD in No Retreat No Surrender it blew my mind.. best kicks ever! & I was obsessed with kicks & kicking. I ended up seeing Bloodsport in the theater with my dad & I was only six haha!
3:16 “Let me tell ya something. These guys know how to throw you off a roof. You know, without dying.” Off a four story roof? That’s some pretty amazing throwing!
Frank is a grandmaster at lying. Also he said it was james hydrick, isnt that the guy who was exposed in live tv for trying to move objects without touching them. Its still on youtube. Another fake marshal artist just like Frank dux.
This is me a simple martial artist with no name. I met Mr Frank dux personally at a seminar I was assisting at. I was really hesitant and shy to approach him. He and his wife approached me and was very respectful and treated me as an equal. He is a very respectful man and polite. I asked him for advice he gave it to me and when I need more help, advice and inspiration He gives it to He truly a stand up guy and my personal hero. His past and his story is none of my business. What is my business is tht he treated me very well given that I am a nobody and offered to help me when I needed help with no reward. He has my respect and in my perspective he is a true martial arts master !
I heard so much about this movie that I don’t even know what to believe, with that being said to that movie is a masterpiece regardless of the controversy that involves the creators.
My Muay Thai trainer's (2 Time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai Saekson Janjira & Samart Payakaroon) friend Paolo Tocha ("Paco" from Bloodsport) is a legit Muay Thai legend. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the local Muay Thai fights. He is originally from Mozambique from Portuguese settlers that moved to South Africa. Then he moved to Bangkok, Thailand to train, fight and eventually coach Muay Thai then moved to Los Angeles, California where he is still training champion fighters to this day. I would love to see an interview by Viking Samurai of his very interesting life. A true champion fighter, trainer, actor, and overall great guy!
Bloodsport made me fall in love with martial arts. Out for justice was another one. Showdown in little Tokyo was another one. I didn't see enter the dragon until I was a teen, but it changed my life. Then I went all in after Rumble in the Bronx came out.
Another superb interview VS. I honestly cannot help but like Frank Dux. I find him a very interesting and also likeable character. Whilst I am sure there are exaggerations to some of his stories, a lot of what he says for me holds weight to being truthful. I am someone like yourself that likes to hear stories from all sides. I know how easily things can get taken out of context, and it's frustrating when there can be such bias or hate towards one person because of someone's opinion, but you have such a level headed, non bias and humble approach to how you tackle these interviews. It is a breath of fresh air and I watch your videos with such interest. I take my hat off to you, really brilliant content, thank you.
If it means anything, I grew up in the valley and I'm about the same age as Frank. So I had seen him involved in that "crowd". As I became a madam in the late 70's, I know about the island being real, as well as the yearly competition. Rewatch "Enter the Dragon" UNEDITED and note that in the opening sequence the whole plot of the movie was for him to get on the island because being out in international waters, there was no "legal" way for law enforcement to get on the island unless you were part of the competition. This ties into Frank's very story being that he was working with the CIA at that time. If you rewatch "Enter the Dragon" - note they're talking about international sex trafficking which back in 1973 when that film opened - it was NOT illegal. It did not become illegal to traffick an American adult until the Trafficking Act of 2000. As a madam, we were asked to get women to attend this event so I know the event was real. Realize this was also when Iran Contra was happening, but hadn't come to light yet. So understand the CIA didn't want this revealed back then, and they were trying to not only conceal it from the public, but also trying to silence witnesses. Now that the Epstein trial has finally happened, and more is coming out to the public - people are starting to understand that the things going on that connected to this competition on that island have been suppressed for a long time. The ONLY way I was able to get out to the public's attention about not only the sex trafficking, but that we needed to change the law to make it illegal for what was happening was to literally "trick" my way onto live TV. To get onto any national TV back then, you had to first get through producers who would not let you on that stage unless they thought you were glamourizing sex work back then. So I had to lie to the producers clear up until I was on that stage and knew my mike was on. THEN I was able to open my mouth and say what needed to be said - and it worked. Once I was on live TV, they couldn't yank me off the air. From those appearances, I was then able to connect to the people who got the Trafficking Act passed. But you need to understand the CIA is ALWAYS trying to throw people off the track of what they're doing - so they have Cointelpro. I've been subjected to the same tactics I've seen used on Frank Dux so I know their tactics. I've got the SAME kind of trolls who go online and say things like "she's crazy" or "she's making it up" and even "she's never even been a madam". So I'm not at all surprised to see these trolls who come on trying to cast doubt on everything Frank's saying BECAUSE it's more than the competition that happened on that island. Frank has said in his book that he's been aware of sex trafficking because of having this "insider view" of things that people didn't have back then. Realize we didn't have the internet, cell phones, tiny cameras, etc. - so all we have really is our word about what we've seen. I know that I ran in the same circles as Frank back then and I know his story is real about the whole thing behind "Bloodsport". I think when you realize that Enter the Dragon was Bruce Lee's way I believe of revealing to the world what was REALLY happening back then, then you understand not only his death just three weeks before the film premiered, and also why his son was murdered as well. The Triad doesn't like the truth coming out very much and since they're STILL engaged in sex trafficking, and because it's very connected to Hollywood - then for the same reasons Tupac was murdered - they don't want certain people who know certain things to get too popular or BELIEVED. I've watched as people have tried to wipe out my history, so I'm again not surprised when I see there are things hard to find to prove Frank's story. When you understand that if they admit Frank's story is real, then there's a lot of other stuff that's true as well - and that's why there is this campaign to try and discredit the story. When they can't argue the truth, they try to smear the messenger. You can see more about what it all ties to at www.sexindustryexpert.com if you want
@@oldironsides4107 it's done all the time. Catch the film "girl 27". I've had it done to me also. If you don't know how our government does this all the time with people - then you've got no point being in the conversation about how and why they've been trying to hide what happened on that island for a long long time. Now that the Epstein trial happened, maybe now you have a better idea why. There's lots of islands being used for all kinds of illegal things. Have been for a while
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA I think it is more about obvious lies need to be called out. Frank Dux is a proven liar. This idea of believing whatever you want to be true despite overwhelming evidence just beings problems. Ridicule is our greatest weapon against tales like this
Check out the phone audio clip at 8:10 He gives the whole con up. He’s arguing about who wrote Bloodsport, Sheldon Letich (the writer of Bloodsport) or Dux. Now normally Dux lives in a complete fantasy world made up of his lies but he surrounds himself with yes men/women that feed the alternate universe they live in, but he’s so mad that Sheldon got the credit for writing a brilliant script that he says the following: “Sheldon has to create this image of this being a creative work by him, otherwise…” He goes on “Because the characters ALL CAME FROM ME” not from his experiences, from him. The “characters”. He’s mad someone else is taking credit for making up characters that HE made up. That’s the first honest thing Shitdoshi Frank has said in decades.
Speaking as someone who has had six movies made about her life that I was written out of at the very end to avoid giving me credit and paying me - it happens in Hollywood all the time. If you know how Hollywood works, you'd know that.
I thought the exact same thing. If you listen carefully this guy continually exposes himself. He’s narcissistic enough to believe he’s actually being convincing, but to those paying attention he’s just digging the lie pit deeper & deeper… 🤷🏼♂️
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA “Six movies made about my life”… 🤣 They don’t make “six movies” about the most popular humans to ever exist & yet you as a complete unknown were fantastic enough to warrant six movies about your life??? 🤣 You’re either Frank on a burner account or just as delusional as he is! 😉
Frank the creation that came from your life’s steps is and was simply amazing ! It will always have a special greatness in its timing as a gift to the martial arts world . You never have to prove yourself , just continue to contribute to life , to help those who appreciate reality from fiction . Sincerely Anthony
Yeah 3 to 4 stories. You can literally die potentially from like a 2 story drop depending on how you land. Almost feels like he's one of these people who have a psychological disorder and can't help themselves and is a pathological liar.
You should interview Mike Stone. He was a karate legend in California back in the 60's and 70's and was involved with American Ninja movies etc. I wonder if he would know Dux. He was also the guy Priscilla Presley left Elvis for. That would be a killer interview.
Hello, Viking Samurai. This is a great portion of the interview, it answers alot of questions, while still leaving room to ask many more. Frank is a very Intresting guy. TERRANCE OUT
So the first guy to fight in the Kumite was Rick Robinson, a biker type guy. Remember the Kumite was organized by the inner inner most inner circles of the martial arts from…China. First Frank claimed they would notice (from across the planet) students that showed great promise from dojo’s and invite them. Now we learn…the secret Chinese fighting black dragons were also scouting biker gangs. Of course! When you are holding battles from the greatest warriors of multigenerational lineage you go get a big biker to go first. I wonder how many men Rick Robinson murdered in Mexico or the Bahamas by throwing them off 3 story buildings? Richard Robinson when confronted with evidence he was a school friend of Frank’s confirmed that Dux lied when he said he met him at the Kumite and that Frank had made up his story and guided him on what to say. Robinson originally told people he was chosen for his street fighting ability and undefeated wrestling record. His school had zero record, photo or a single person that had ever seen Richardson wrestle once in his life. Richards response: When told that he could not be found in the school yearbook during any of his high school years, he finally broke down and admitted: “All right. I don’t know what to say. Why is this movie so important to you anyway? Frank was a buddy of mine when I was in L.A.” Of Dux’s story in the Bahamas, Robinson said: “If he says it’s true, it’s fine with me.” Further research revealed that Dux had coached Robinson on what to say about their relationship and the Kumite. Dux uses Richardson to back up his story of being a Kumite competitor, one that participated in the Kumite Frank won, well one of the Kumite’s Frank won. That guy says “if Frank says it’s true, that’s good enough for me”.
Actually, there has been a long standing relationship between the Triad and the Hell's Angel's because of the prostitution connection. Clearly you are the one who doesn't know the history.
Very well done interview that was very fair. I have known Frank Dux for nearly three decades. We have had numerous conversations on many subjects over this time in his stories and details have been consistent.I was in his home and saw the trophy from the Kumite. Anybody that questions his martial arts knowledge and ability apparently is never trained with him. I am a nine-time World sport karate fighting champion and I've trained with many recognized Masters and I am impressed with the vast knowledge that Frank has.
I think the problem is that Frank missed his true calling. Instead of fabricating story after story and not bothering to fact check himself and keep said story straight, which ultimately, led to him becoming a meme, he should instead, have taken inspiration from the success of Bloodsport and continued to write screenplays for martial arts movies! If they were anywhere NEAR as good as Bloodsport, he'd have made a killing in the 80's and 90's from the publics appetite for those kinds of movies during that time. Hell, I STILL love watching Bloodsport, though I was already training in MA when that flick came out, it was still inspirational.
Hey there Viking. Being an Aussie, my interest peaked in your video at the "Rappeling down the building Australian Style". This was made famous by an Australian TV series called "Police Rescue" and the actor that did his own stunts was Gary Sweet. The TV show started in 1989 and the forward facing abseiling stunt (From Memory) was done in "Police Rescue - The Movie" which was made in 1994. Both of the TV show and the Movie were after Bloodsport.
The problem Dux has, is that he has been caught out (evidence) so many times with his lying (especially in regards to the military, but many things) that it’s very difficult to believe anything he says. I reminded myself multiple times watching this, “be open minded”. In the end, I imagine a few of the things he claims are true, but it does not outweigh the outright lies that he’s been caught out on. That said, blood sport inspired me behind measure, so for his role in it, I am deeply grateful.
@@paleo704 why would you say that? I watched it in it’s entirety (as I stated, I reminded myself to keep an open mind throughout). I also watched his other interviews in full with Viking Samurai. Peace ✌️
Agree ! he has been proven false on too many things in the past . Problem is their is no evidence .. for most of what he claims . Military records , none . 300 Kumite fights , and not one piece of footage of anything . Says was trained by Tanaka a master ! but nobody else has ever heard of him . Lost a court case to Van Damme , as the evidence .. was destroyed in an earthquake ! Their is a pattern here
Oh man....Enter the Ninja. Talk about OG film with Frank Nero and I thought Sho Kosugi as a villain did pretty good. This interview is deep Viking and Dux let it all out with the name origins and life source of Frank. Bloodsport to me will forever go down as one of the best MA film (top 3) for me and the film that influence me to travel to Hong Kong which I did back in 2019 before the pandemic. Thank you for this interview Viking Samurai.
You didn't flinch; you have fighting spirit. Ps: its just a matter of time until the man the myth the legend van damme is on you're channel, he might be little busy starting he's final martial arts movie soon but he will be retired after.
A big part of my karate history has been Goju. The man who really popularised this to the world was Gogen Yamaguchi. He, like Frank Dux, was caught out telling blatant lies (Eg Fighting a Tiger, being a prisoner of war, being graded to 10th Dan by Goju’s founder, Chojun Miyagi). While lying is never ok, one way to look at it is that their lies ultimately inspired millions of people to take up martial arts, and to thrive in it. Had it not been for their “fiction”, millions of people would not have gained the benefits of martial arts.
This was an awesome discussion, regardless of which side you're on. Everyone should just appreciate the work that came out of the chaos and remain indifferent and enjoy the work. I'm curious if you talk with him later about what happened between him and Van Damme over The Quest and that court case ( which Dux lost if I remember correctly )
Good ol Frankie, still trying to relive and convince people about the good ol' days that he made up in his head. Still, not gonna lie, It was a lot of fun as a kid watching movies like Bloodsport, Mortal Kombat and Roadhouse on TBS on a Saturday afternoon. Good times 👍
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA And you don’t believe in Santa Claus…why? Prove he does not exist. It’s called proving a negative. The onus is on Frankie “Liesalot” Dux to prove his outrageous claims, not is to prove stupid stuff didn’t happen.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA still waiting on that footage or credible source bud. Trust me, my inner 12 year old wants it to be real but being that I'm more mature and in my 30's now and listening to his version of things and how he's told different versions of the story, there's just too many things that don't make sense. Even Sheldon Lettich who was his buddy admitted to never totally buying the story himself and only made Bloodsport because he thought it sounded like a cool idea for a movie.
Another awesome video! Blood Sport was a huge influence on me when I was growing up and a reason I was pulled towards the Martial Arts. Now age 40 and still training 6 days a week.
I'm 50 ..so i grew up on enter the dragon....but when bloodsport came out it blew my mind....when bruce lee released his movies no one had ever seen anything like him before....it was the same (for me anyway ) with van damme and bloodsport...no one had ever seen anyone kick like that before or the splits between 2 chairs ...his jumping kicks were out of this world ...for me no one man is better than the other ...they both offer different types of fighting in their movies ...I respect both men equally....just think ..between these two great martial artists they both inspired 2 completely different generations ,years apart
I gotta say, the more videos you put out of Frank, the more truthful, and convincing he sounds. Bloodsport was special, problably because it was made my a lot of big egos, who were talented in their crafts.
Interesting story. Can't wait until you bring JCVD himself and see his side of the story about making Bloodsport. I'm sure it will be even more interesting to hear.
I am the Gordon to whom Frank inscribed the original script, "My martial arts brother." I ran Frank's schools for him for five years during the filming of Bloodsport. I have stories which I'd be happy to share about Sheldon, Jean-Claude, and all the rest. I wrote the book, SHIDOSHI: The Four Ways of The Corpse to pull back the curtain on the continued nonsense that surrounds the unrestricted, unregulated martial arts world. At Frank's studios I implemented a "Grey Belt" program and conducted "Special Skills" classes in an attempt to bring reality and science to the industry. I'm still involved in that effort.
Another great part of this Frank Dux interview, I believe what he’s saying in terms of the screenplay , Hollywood is a very treacherous place , there are tons of stories about people stealing stories , writing credits ect & fighting over percentage points. I don’t think Shelton is innocent, of course the truth may also lie somewhere in the middle as well .
Love this! Love the movie, "Bloodsport"! Love the real story about Fank and Jean-Claude's "creative" disagreement that end on top of the Victoria Hotel in Hong Kong. (29:20) #GreatStory
Great Episode! I am very glad to hear that Frank disapproved of the first script. To imagine the story containing scenes, like discussed, is hard to image. I also thought the phone interview was quite strong; the way you did it “looked legendary”, Which is appropriate for Master Dux. Thank you for the great content! You are the best Viking Samurai! Also, Awesome Instagram posts! 😌🙏🏻
I found your channel and this video yesterday from an online search while listening to the JRE. Joe was talking shit about the truth of Dux. (and of course has Jamie pull up something on the fly that corroborates his opinion and the subject is solidified true with no further research) While listening, I did the same and saved this video to watch. I'll be watching the follow up as well. Based on the comments, it sounds like Dux has a lot of haters. I'll keep an open mind while watching. It takes me back to childhood. I hope to find the story from the scene where JCVD has to break the bottom brick. "Brick not hit back!" Haha. Or one of the best scenes in Double Impact where Bolo picks up a supposed full 55gal drum *first shark jump* and then JCVD kicks the barrel away. (granted the acting did show he injured his knee but come on, my 10 year old self knew that was ridiculous. I love this topic. Did you realize Bolo is 76? Damn we're getting old!
Nah, he doesn't have haters. He has critics who question his claims because he cannot verify them. Calling them "haters" is just an excuse to shrug them off.
Wally Jay himself said small circle is more an enhanced approach to your art, it fill in the blanks. My brain doesn't work so swell but thank you to sensei Dell for being there and sharing
An excellent interview; it's hard to dismiss Frank's claims about this film when he can produce documentary evidence backing up his recollections. Despite what Sheldon says towards the end of this video, Frank seems open and generous is crediting others for their contributions to the movie.
The one thing I wondered after the one Sheldon Lettich video he said frank wanted to be an actor after the short movie firefight, but how come frank didn't even have a cameo role in Bloodsport, or roles of any size in Lionheart and The Quest and the one movie he did appear in as an actor Only the Strong his face was covered by a welders mask. If he wanted to be an actor those are literally the best martial arts movie ever made, if he wanted to be an actor those would have been the movies to act in. I thought of that after seeing sheldons interview now after seeing this frank said he didn't want to be an actor but sheldon said he did, maybe frank is telling the truth about that one. The other thing is if frank really is the pathological liar everyone says he is why didn't he just keep the James Bond/Rambo type story in sheldon's draft of Bloodsport and pretend that all happened in his life. He said he didn't want that stuff in there cause he wanted to keep it "real"
@@sheldonlettich2728 are u the real Sheldon Lettich? lol i don't see any videos on your channel. I was just wondering after that interview because frank is famous but not like van damme famous, i guess more people know his name then his face but if he wanted to be an actor and make his face famous Bloodsport, lionheart, the quest, and only the strong (4 of the best martial arts movies ever made) would be the movies for him to act in, he was already a part of those movies why not just take an acting role of any size, if he had acted in those movies he would have become alot more famous then he is already. And why cover his face with a welders mask the one movie of those he did act in?
@@The_Chameleon Somebody posted a clip in this comments section, from the one feature film that Dux did star in, a low budget Philippine flick titled "Get The Terrorists." Take a look at that clip, and then you tell me why we weren't so eager to cast him in a speaking role. Sometime in the next few months I will be posting my entire short film "Firefight," which I had remastered in 2K, and then you'll get an even better look at Frank's acting abilities.
The reason that the James Bond/Rambo type of scene did not stay in "Bloodsport" is simply because it would have been too expensive to film, in what was an extremely low budget production. Not because Frank wanted to "keep it real." Frank was spinning stories to me about his "Secret Man" exploits, long before his book was published. He wanted scenes like that in the movie, and frankly, so did I. In retrospect the movie works better without them. Anyways, those stories are all bullshit fabrications, just like Frank's story about the Kumite. There's no proof whatsoever that any of that stuff actually happened, but it sure made good fodder for an action martial arts movie!.
@@sheldonlettich2728 Thank you Sheldon for the replies. I look forward to seeing Firefight when you do release it (or maybe not as much if franks acting is that bad lol) I definitely believe you (Sheldon) over Frank anyday but i guess i feel the same way Viking feels that there may be a kernel of truth to the stories frank tells and trying to figure out what's real and what's not. But if he was a really bad actor that makes sense why no one would cast him in a acting role. I remember looking for firefight on TH-cam after your earlier interview. Will be nice to see it when you do release it. as for the James Bond/Rambo stuff it sounds weird now because alot of people see Bloodsport as the perfect martial arts movie and wouldn't want it any other way then the way it is. but when you were making the movie you probably wanted as much action and excitement as possible. (In my opinion Bloodsport is the best martial arts movie ever made and much better of a movie than Enter the Dragon) My question for you Sheldon is that when you were writing Bloodsport and directing Lionheart, Double Impact, and Only the Strong did you know you were literally making what would become four of the best martial arts movies ever made? I mean could you feel it at the time or is it something you didn't realize until later ?
I think Frank should just tell the truth now. He used deception to achieve his goal, and that goal was to create a system of ninjutsu. That's the very essence of what ninjutsu IS! All the old masters in feudal Japan were talking bullsht, too! When a guy says, "I did this, this and this, so I know that, that and that, and that's why you should listen to me", they're rarely being totally honest. The fact that he's keeping the lies going, just suggests that his goal was never to breathe new life into ninjutsu, but merely to get a dojo full of paying students, and sell a book. Maybe it doesn't matter. There's nothing wrong with making it up and giving it an existing name, as long as what you teach is in the same spirit, I guess. It's not like there was ever an instruction manual. And it should also be effective, I guess. But who the Hell takes Ninjutsu lessons for self defense? Besides, if you get your ass kicked because of the style you learned, you'd have gotten it kicked anyways. If you have any ability, then surely you know whether what you're being taught is going to work.
@@amk8411 I'm not sure Dux IS a pathological liar. A liar, yes. Absolutely. But lying for a specific goal, isn't pathological. Dux's story changes all the time, which strongly suggests that he knows he's lying.
Frank dux definitely has martial arts experience and knowledge. There's no doubt there. No disrespect to his martial arts experience. Made a popular movie etc. Got schools. I just think if anyone asked him even too do a light sparring match with anyone his age etc.. I bet he would find away around it. He would say things like. This guy ain't worth my time. Let's fight off shore were the kumite matches can be legal. I don't want to be responsible for crippling you etc. I bet he would set the bar so high. Because if he lost it would ruin his reputation. Anyway great interview Viking samuri. Your awesome. Could you ask Frank a question for me. Ask him if he would be willing to light sparr anyone. I bet just think he will some how find a away round it. Someone with this type of knowledge and experience should have no fear of doing that. I mean come on Frank don't talk about being this ultimate warrior prove it champ. What do you think Viking samuri. Great videos buddy love it. Much respect to Viking samuri for taking the time to make these amazing videos.
Do you have any CLUE how many people try to provoke Frank into a fight where he could be arrested or sued, and worse - who is going to pay the medical bills? If you actually knew what you were talking about, you'd know WHY he refuses fights unless they're properly organized.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA that's funny you just proved my point. Do you have any clue how many times i heard these excuses. If you had any idea what your talking about. With the scene with the Young Frank Dux, an the sword in the sights, it doesn't completely ruin the story in Bloodsport, so Lettich could actually be using that scene to show A new path the character will take/ plus set up for character Motivation, an in that it works as a compliment to the real Frank Dux, you do see his motivation even in these interviews. I can understand the disagreement even around the scene/s, but if I look into the past around this movie, If I remember, it never got a directors cut or even Creators Cut version, something that inc Movie commentary from as many parties as possible around the creation of the film, also taking into account the Length of the Actual Film for when it finishes post production.
Viking Samurai: "If you do appreciate the effort because these videos do take a long time to put together..." Me: "As a youtube creator myself,...Holy Shit can I ever relate!" LOL
I think Frank Dux is an interesting person, but people should watch his court case against Jean Claude Van Damme where he sues Van Damme for movie credits (films Van Damme starred in and future projects promised he'll participate in) which he lost the case. I'm skeptical of Frank Dux's statements because Van Damme's lawyers have Dux contradict a lot of his claims about the violent nature of an underground event called the Kumite, his secret missions in the military, and some mythical martial art masters that he claims played a role how he got into martial arts. He was under Oath in cross examination. People can watch the case on TH-cam.
Interesting I've mentioned your channel to van damm on Facebook .Not sure if he has seen it .but he comments alot on different pages like street fighter etc so I put a comment underneath his
It's strange that nobody thought to question Frank's story during the making of the movie. A movie in which they all made money and got their name on the map. It was only years later when their careers faded, that the character assassination started. Regardless of who you choose to believe, no Frank = no Bloodsport.
If you see my comment above, you'll know why they only started attacking him "later". First the truth about Iran Contra came out. Then realize we spent almost a decade trying to get ANYONE to file ANY charges against Epstein. The prosecutors fought this because they knew it was opening a can of worms - as it was. Epstein's case led to Maxwell, which made people look at the death of Grislaine's father closer. Sleeping dogs were awoken again. Then the case against Prince Andrew grew teeth. And they're STILL trying to do damage control on this whole story because of EVERYTHING that's involved in this. It's like Watergate - it opens up a whole can of worms that a lot of people didn't want opened. So as more was coming out about the island, that's why there was suddenly more attacks upon Frank's credibility.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA Iran/Contra and Jeffrey Epstein have absolutely nothing to do with any of this. Frank Dux simply decided he wanted to get his hands on the "Bloodsport" residuals, even though he had no claim to them, not according to the Writers Guild of America, which has the final say on who gets credit and who doesn't. They made a credit determination for "Bloodsport" back on January 9th, 1987. Frank Dux's name was nowhere to be seen on the paperwork. Frank had thirty days to respond and object, but he didn't say anything at all until years later. If Frank had a beef with the credits he should have contacted the WGA Legal Dept., which I've advised him and his representatives to do on numerous occasions. Why won't he do that? Because he doesn't have a leg to stand on, legally, and he knows that, so he tries to satisfy his bruised ego by squawking to anyone who's willing to listen to his lies, his sad stories, and his nonsense, and to naively buy into it.
Frank - why don't you just sue these guys for defamation? I'll provide you all the legal support you need to do this and shut them up. They remind me of that guy who kept denying the holocaust happened until he got sued and lost!
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA Frand Dux already tried suing someone else for "defamation." That was Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, which published a well-researched article about Frank, aptly titled "Full Mental Jacket." The case was thrown out of court by the judge and never went to trial. Then Frank sued Van Damme in a bald-faced attempt to extort money from the one person who's been most responsible for Dux's fame, notoriety, and income. Dux famously lost that case because the judge and jury saw through Dux's many lies and distortions.
I won't bash Frank Dux this time, even though I still don't believe anything he says. However, I believe just like you, that him, Sheldon, and JCVD should reunite once more and make an awesome film, since every time they do, they make Hollywood gold.
@@VikingSamurai Agreed brother and as a fan, please Thank Frank for me for one of the greatest martial arts movies in American Film history and I'm glad the world got his version and not Sheldons...👊👍😎
Also Frank Dux is right 110 about choreographer you just just can't put anything out there. Choreographer is like writing a script or like writing a rap song. Bruce Lee used to draw out his fighting choreographer on paper so he could remember his fighting choreographer as well.
And if you looked at my pics, you would say I don't look like I ever was a top madam either. That's why they hire actors to play us in the movies - like they hired Jean Claude Van Dam. However, when you look at pictures of Frank at the time of this event, you'd see they looked like twins of each other at the time. People DO change as they get older you know.
The title is misleading. It’s not the real story, it’s just his side of events. Truth always lies in the middle of two people yelling. Just a thought, Frank says they throw you off a roof but they can throw you off a roof in a way that you can survive. Think about it then you decide weather he is telling the truth. 3:00 Sadly, maybe JCVD doesn’t come on the show because Dux was on to distort reality. But I hope he does someday.
I started training with Frank in August 1983 (after getting out of the Army a month before) and continued training for years. I knew the story of Bloodsport years before it was shot. This was and always will be Frank's story. Anyone who questions Frank's authenticity has never trained with him. I started martial arts training six years earlier and can say I had a good foundation prior to meeting Frank. He told me to throw a kick at him full speed and I ended up flying across the room (and I had good kicks back then). Frank is the real deal and I learned a LOT from him over my years of training with him. Any neigh sayers are just full of 💩 and are just haters who weren't there. I was!
I was instructing at that time at frank dojo .I meet Sheldon I olso at the time was and still working in the film industry with out geting in to details Sheldon did things that are so typical to the film industry only to get what he needed to move forward .frank is a friend for over 40 years and never proved to be not what he said .
@@brentambrose6804 Literally in THIS VIDEO SERIES Frank talks about fights on 4 story buildings & how there was a technique/skill of “throwing people off 4 story buildings without killing them”… 🤣 The amount of delusional claims this guy has made is absurd!! I’m not saying he doesn’t have some martial arts knowledge, but his entire military background, Kumite fighting record, “moving out of the way of bullets”, etc. just PURE FANTASY & FICTION!
I believe Frank Bloodsport was real tournament cause there are alot of underground fights.around the world. But you know Hollywood makes it look superhero looking.
Like most of are history was built on lies, so it was Bloodsport and legacy of this movie. Its very sad. Frank its full of shit, people should stop listening his lies. Remember if you believe in your lies, it's becomes true in your own eyes.
I got news for Frank even a "jump" from 3 to 4 stories is going to do great bodily harm and possibly kill you. You don't need to directly land on your head. You could land on your feet and when your legs break you very likely could hit your head when you fall over. If this kind of crap was happening regularly somewhere I'd assume all these people either ending up dead or in the hospital would tip the authorities off. It just seems like always he has to over-embellish to make things over the top. Seems to be what he's been doing for decades now and just can't drop the act.
More likely your ass hits the back of your lower legs and breaks them, or your ass hits the floor and you smash your pelvis. Either way, you're in for at least a bad case of whiplash on top of whatever happens to your lower body. And probably a bunch of internal injuries in your torso. But it's pretty unlikely that your head will take enough of an impact to kill you. You're more likely to tear a major artery just from the jolt to your heart, if you're gonna die at all. None of it tickles.
No shit..a 1 story fall will do damage. My garage is 1 story and no way id jump down ready for that..imagine being thrown off. Well atleast we all enjoy an tall-tale story!
@Underground Chamber Muzik You can but that's a one in a million incident. Yes it can happen but not the norm. Most people if they get thrown from 3 stories they are lucky if just there is some broken bones.
Damn Viking Samurai. each video i watch i gotta say i respect you a little more each time. Like you carry that whole. Student of the game mentality. You don't act like you know better or what you know is the bottom line. you always seem like there is more to know kind of thing. always more knowledge to gain. Kind of like that Confucius saying " The man that knows all the answers. hasn't been asked all the questions."
When you get to the part with Frank’s “evidence” it’s fall down funny. He has emails from HIS own lawyer (doesn’t show anything Sheldon has said in return) and in the letter supposedly proving Frank truthful and Sheldon a liar, he says “I to (sic) sick of BOTH of your bullshit”. Lmfao even his evidence is evidence that those that know him know Frank is full of shit. It’s right there for anyone to see. Does it mean Sheldon bullshits too? I don’t know, he seemed honest but I don’t know. On the other hand what I learned is that nearly everyone Frank encounters thinks he’s full of shit including the actual accomplished martial artists of his day like Bill Wallace, the CIA, investigators in to stolen valour, researched authors, the guy he used to claim was the real Jackson, the guys that helped him do stunts with Candy glass and plexiglass, almost everyone he’s worked in films with. The LA Times it goes on and on.
That guy was both Frank's and Sheldon's lawyer... I didnt ask Sheldon's permission to share what he said in return, so of course I'm not going to put it out there, but perhaps there can be a follow up video with him in the future.
If Frank's lying, then why hasn't anyone sued him for defamation? Give me a break. I can see this is a smear campaign and there's nothing wrong with Frank's evidence either.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA Because suing for defamation isn't that easy or needed. It only matters if someone has caused severe financial harm. Frank Dux being a fraud and/or anything he has said, has not actually caused harm. In fact, his bullshit has made people money in many different ways. No one can really say one way or the other. The only things we KNOW FOR FACTS is he lied about his military service actions and he has no documented fighting record outside of his own accounts. Those 2 things right there will cause everyone to understand that his fighting accolades are fictitious. Since I have never met him, I can only say what is made public. He might be a good and likable guy...but on the merits of reality, it's not a hit piece to call bullshit on bullshit
Remember when they make true stories into movies not all of it is really happened the stories happened but like The Bronx tale wasn't a love story like they turned it into.
I did kicks since I was 9 but Bloodsport was the first martial arts movie I really remember seeing and it was badass.
I was inspired by Bruce, but Trained with Frank. I knew the story before it was a movie. 😉👍
@@brentambrose6804 That's awesome 😊
Well , I was inspired by both. I was into Bruce Lee and movies like Big Trouble in little China, The Last Dragon.. even the show Side Kicks. Off a four story roof? That’s some pretty amazing throwing!
Frank is a grandmaster at lying.
Also he said it was james hydrick, isnt that the guy who was exposed in live tv for trying to move objects without touching them. Its still on youtube. Another fake marshal artist just like Frank dux.
I thought the Kumite was a test of endurance, lol. So much for that version of Frank's story.
🤣
@Free Bee. Yes that’s hydrick also a rampant pesophile and escaped prison a couple times
He was joking
You r getting closer n closer to having van damme himself on ya podcast
Let's hope.
Van Damme has already hinted at his own covert operations so why would he risk winding up like Assange?
Not if he keeps posting the same Frank Dux content in every 19 out of 20 vids.
I thought his fight against JCVD was the best
Yeah like the part about throwing people off the roof of a three or four story building. I think he realized he fucked up with that one
For someone who had 2 brain tumors/surgeries. Frank dux remembers the fuck out of details
"these guys knew how to throw you off a 3-4 storey building without you dying" - Frank Dux
Good interview with Frank Dux. I'm so glad he gets his chance to explain his side of the story.
Outstanding interview. Love this channel! Not sure who to believe 100%, if anyone, but I find this very fascinating. Keep It up, David!
How would someone “ erase your history”
@@oldironsides4107 it's done all the time. Catch the film "girl 27". I've had it done to me also. If you don't know how our government does this all the time with people - then you've got no point being in the conversation about how and why they've been trying to hide what happened on that island for a long long time. Now that the Epstein trial happened, maybe now you have a better idea why. There's lots of islands being used for all kinds of illegal things. Have been for a while

Check out the phone audio clip at 8:10 He gives the whole con up. He’s arguing about who wrote Bloodsport, Sheldon Letich (the writer of Bloodsport) or Dux.
Now normally Dux lives in a complete fantasy world made up of his lies but he surrounds himself with yes men/women that feed the alternate universe they live in, but he’s so mad that Sheldon got the credit for writing a brilliant script that he says the following:
“Sheldon has to create this image of this being a creative work by him, otherwise…”
He goes on “Because the characters ALL CAME FROM ME”
not from his experiences, from him.

Hello, Viking Samurai. This is a great portion of the interview, it answers alot of questions, while still leaving room to ask many more. Frank is a very Intresting guy.

I was waiting for the next part !! Thanks Brother !! Regards to you and Master Dux 👍
I’m really changing my mind about Frank. It’s either the truth or he’s a master genius conning us all. OSU
Richards response:
When told that he could not be found in the school yearbook during any of his high school years, he finally broke down and admitted: “All right. I don’t know what to say. Why is this movie so important to you anyway? Frank was a buddy of mine when I was in L.A.”
Of Dux’s story in the Bahamas, Robinson said: “If he says it’s true, it’s fine with me.” Further research revealed that Dux had coached Robinson on what to say about their relationship and the Kumite.
Dux uses Richardson to back up his story of being a Kumite competitor, one that participated in the Kumite Frank won, well one of the Kumite’s Frank won.
That guy says “if Frank says it’s true, that’s good enough for me”.
Not to mention franks cia spy career lol. Frank is such a liar and its a shame this guy didnt have the balls to call him out on his bullcrap lies

9 or 27?
I think the problem is that Frank missed his true calling. Instead of fabricating story after story and not bothering to fact check himself and keep said story straight, which ultimately, led to him becoming a meme, he should instead, have taken inspiration from the success of Bloodsport and continued to write screenplays for martial arts movies! If they were anywhere NEAR as good as Bloodsport, he'd have made a killing in the 80's and 90's from the publics appetite for those kinds of movies during that time. Hell, I STILL love watching Bloodsport, though I was already training in MA when that flick came out, it was still inspirational.
...Your the Best around!!!!....No One can beat you in this town!!!!!! Would have been memorable if Sheldon surprise called in when Frank was on!
Van Damme is definitely gonna be on this channel at some point....and I can't wait

Interview some of those guys he mentioned also fought the kumite
Unfortunately ol Shel has a rep for telling tall tales,on and off screen...
@@napoleonwilson6499 lol and Frank doesnt?? Franks whole life is one big fat fantasy.
Can Frank list 10 fighters he beat in the kumite... may be you could get one to come on and Tell there story
Awesome content
I believe in Sheldon!
where are the screenplays at, as I would like to read them.
Keep up the great work 💪. Much ❤
"Falling 4 stories to your death... a learning experience"
What we really need the van dam interview
Wally Jay himself said small circle is more an enhanced approach to your art, it fill in the blanks. My brain doesn't work so swell but thank you to sensei Dell for being there and sharing
Interesting interview
WHOAHHHHHH 🥋🥋✌️💯💯💯💪First fight in the kumite and freaking he broke the world record hat's my buddy yeahhhhhh😂🤣😂😁✌️✌️💯
An excellent interview; it's hard to dismiss Frank's claims about this film when he can produce documentary evidence backing up his recollections. Despite what Sheldon says towards the end of this video, Frank seems open and generous is crediting others for their contributions to the movie.
The last two minutes of this is great!!!!
If anything, "Firefight" proved that Frank Dux is no actor, not just to me but also to JCVD and probably even to Frank himself.
(In my opinion Bloodsport is the best martial arts movie ever made and much better of a movie than Enter the Dragon)
My question for you Sheldon is that when you were writing Bloodsport and directing Lionheart, Double Impact, and Only the Strong did you know you were literally making what would become four of the best martial arts movies ever made? I mean could you feel it at the time or is it something you didn't realize until later ?
Thanks again for sharing this interview... the mysterious Mr. Dux. I'm not sure what side to back.
Pathological liars don't admit the truth.
Ever.
You would realise its A classic Frank dux response . More excuses, of course Mr dux wouldnt want to ruin his reputation by loosing. Thank you enough said cheers. th-cam.com/video/cDX5fqQsoB8/w-d-xo.html&feature=share
@@stevenwilliams3057 I do know what I'm talking about and you're just another troll trying to suppress the truth.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA nah buddy I dont think you do. Once again proved my point. Because it's all here say no evidence. You know the truth that Mr dux is areal martial artist which I agree with. But with no fighting back ground. Name one person who has come forward who he fought in the kumite. Show any footage of him sparring. That's right it's a secret. Just like everything else he claims. I want to hear the truth because im a troll. But you no the truth let's hear it. And please for your sake don't say you can't talk about it. Or I can't releave Mr duxs fights only his students get the honour. Anyway I don't intend to insult you directly mate. No offence to you your just backing up Mr dux claims. No offence sorry we both have different views really no offence. Viking samuri great interview. We can agree to disagree
I could be wrong here but why have no other competitors ever come out to verify franks story
You definitely need frank and Sheldon do a face off.cause someone's lying, right now I still side with Sheldon
That would be epic!
The Writers Guild of America sides with Sheldon too, and they've got the last word when it comes to screen credits.
Viking Samurai: "If you do appreciate the effort because these videos do take a long time to put together..."
Me: "As a youtube creator myself,...Holy Shit can I ever relate!" LOL
Very interesting video
great video again, truth of lies, im just happy that bloodsport exists.
The man himself!
@@sheldonlettich2728 See? THAT'S WHY YOU'RE BASHING FRANK AND DENYING THERE'S A CONNECTION WITH THESE THINGS BECAUSE THERE WAS!!!!
Funny how any who actually KNOWS Frank believes him and it's always those who don't who accuse him of lying.
@@EXITTHEGAMEUSA i dont give a shit what you think or say. Go get a life

jcvd matured after frank dux shoed him up on the roof beam , lol i got dinner. good to know behind the scenes secrets. love frank and love jcvd
Also Frank Dux is right 110 about choreographer you just just can't put anything out there. Choreographer is like writing a script or like writing a rap song. Bruce Lee used to draw out his fighting choreographer on paper so he could remember his fighting choreographer as well.
Frank Ducks looks more like the owner of a pizza parlor in South Jersey, than a martial artist.
Great Stuff
This guy looks at every guest with the "you don't say" look
The title is misleading. It’s not the real story, it’s just his side of events. Truth always lies in the middle of two people yelling.
Just a thought, Frank says they throw you off a roof but they can throw you off a roof in a way that you can survive. Think about it then you decide weather he is telling the truth. 3:00 Sadly, maybe JCVD doesn’t come on the show because Dux was on to distort reality. But I hope he does someday.
Gold 🥇🪙 this is gold Jerry!!!! Gold 🥇🥇🥇
Can you have Frank use a lie detector test on his next interview?
@Jacov Bresler Yes you were. You been kicking my ass for a long time sir!
Can you guys show me some of those fantastical “4 story roof throwing techniques”?? 🤣
Apparently you heard of a technique I never learned. 🤦♂️
@@brentambrose6804
Literally in THIS VIDEO SERIES Frank talks about fights on 4 story buildings & how there was a technique/skill of “throwing people off 4 story buildings without killing them”… 🤣
The amount of delusional claims this guy has made is absurd!!
