At 61 years old and over 65 live concerts, I can say that the 80s had the best music. BonJovi were great performers and talented songwriters. I've always thought Richie Sambora is underrated and so, so sexy!!!!! Also, not a cell phone in sight. The music was burned into your soul!

A very relaxing and calming performance of Blood on Blood, yet it's full of energy. Fellas, you perfected Blood on Blood when you performed it live that night. Too bad I was only born in '02, and at school, I'm made fun of because I only like rock bands, and everyone likes pop, but THESE bands were (and still are) true to their era. No auto tune, just authentic music, with great lyrics. They play live as good as they would in the studio.

Without this band I can honestly say I would not be the person I am today, probably wouldn't be here.Through thick and thin and times pretty close to the edge to see the view below, there was always Bon Jovi. A rock anthem, a love ballad, a f**king awesome guitar solo from Sambora, a song sentence written just to inspire me to keep me going. I admit they're not the same without Richie, the comradeship between him and Jon was pure legendary, and magic to watch live. When you've moved over 92,000 people in a heartbeat, when you've sung the greatest rock n roll Living on a Prayer anthem ever written, then you can criticise the men who penned the bloody lyrics. BUT, until then 100,000,000+ fans can't be wrong. I was at the Jersey Homecoming concert it was awesome what i remember of it anyways :>) II still look like a kid but things have changed world is not changing for the better! 3 hrs in dead stopped traffic on TPK we had to pee in bottles cops every where! I would say it was best concert ever though!

I seen Bon Jovi in 1989 New Jersey tour..13th November 1989 @ Sydney Entertainment Centre ..they used this exact stage except the Bon Jovi was in black and red ..the massive platform that comes down over the crowd in the Lay your Hands on Me filmclip was there the used in about 3 or 4 differnt songs John at the very back in the middle and Richie on one side an Alec on the other rockin there asse off it was sooooo goood ..thats when Bon Jovi sounded like the do here ..i think John needed to have break 10 plus yrs ago as he can barely sing n cant hit the notes and to be honest hasnt been able to for well over a decade..close to 20 yrs ...sad but it is what it is.... but im old school they were a blood on blood band ..all for one one for all..brotherhood..when John sacked Alec in 1994 i believe they should of shut up shop then ..theyve never souned the same n lost there heavy rock sound and lost there mojo and from then on/Keep the Faith and on has been a softer more pop ,its all about John band ...they used to come out as a tight brotherhood after Alec is wa all about John flirting with the chics like he started a gig in Melbourne Austarla and says ...are you ready to watch "ME" shake my ass...like i though the original BJ was...are you ready the us..the entire band to deliver an unforgetable 2 hours of pure bllod sweat and rock n roll ..everyone was equal ....from 1994 on it was no longer the brotherhood band ..it was Johns band and the others wworked for him...sad sad state of affairs but all i do is speak thruth ..i loved BJ had their first 4 albums there 5 videos 4 titled the albums name and Access All Areas which was a 3 hour video following the band around the world on tour the New Jersey Tour i think cause they went to Russia ...i had Denom Jackets with Bon Jovi patches sown on ..i was a die hard madd fan hahaha but yeah once Alec left as much as i wanted BJ to be the band id grown up with they wernt the same band ....Alec was more then a bass player he was the glue ..the rythum and he just had an infectious loveable energy and did alot more back up vocals then people realised he complemented Johns voice and made him sound fuller and they just has a certain magic,,they all clicked together ... it was poetry in motion ...once Alec was gone the magic was too RIP Alec John Such...Rock In Peace my friend..you were a class act and the backbone ..love you brother
I wish more friendship love songs sounded like this. There are plenty of fine ones, but they are all slow and I guess wispy.
To me, for friends you love so much, there should be songs this loud and upbeat. Be proud to sing about such important people. I wish I could find more songs like that.

I'm really done with scathing reviews about Jon's voice and performance from arseholes who believe their opinion even matters. I've followed Jovi religiously since '83, home, USA and Europe. Without this band I can honestly say I would not be the person I am today, probably wouldn't be here.Through thick and thin and times pretty close to the edge to see the view below, there was always Bon Jovi. A rock anthem, a love ballad, a f**king awesome guitar solo from Sambora, a song sentence written just to inspire me to keep me going. A sentiment, a faith and a hope to carry on is what I owe this band, they are also the reason and writing behind the 30+ year old faded tattoos I carry with pride. Jovi fans don't need your opinion, we formed our own over the last 40 years. Some of us have heroes, Jon and the boys from NJ just happen to be mine. Many have a fire and passion in their very soul, that only a band like Bon Jovi can ignite and keep burning for 4 decades. I admit they're not the same without Richie, the comradeship between him and Jon was pure legendary, and magic to watch live. When you leave a Jovi gig with tears in your eyes, knowing you have to wait another 2 years or more to feel the same way as you do right now, with the fire inside. When you've moved over 92,000 people in a heartbeat, when you've sung the greatest rock n roll Living on a Prayer anthem ever written, then you can criticise the men who penned the bloody lyrics. BUT, until then 100,000,000+ fans can't be wrong. Even if Jon couldn't sing another word, Jovi fans would sing for him at any gig they were attending...They'd be right by his side...Always, Keep The Faith, Amen

Great song, but only words. Brothers find each other again, but John's control over the band is more important. There was a reason for Ritchie to leave, bad timing, but he's sorry. Without Ritchie, the band is just a poor attempt to get back to earlier times. John, without Ritchie the band is just playing elevator music. Remember: Our voices were magic. That's exactly what it is. Roll back your ego and find yourselves again. The time is running. Maybe its too late someday.

Blood on blood might as well been the song for my bff from middle school back in the mid 80s. She passed away 2 years ago so listening to it and some of the other old songs brings back great memories ❤ i miss her everyday. She was about to turn 50 when she died. We were friends for 37 years
