A big portion of rapists have actually been sexually abused earlier in their life.

    • @frumtheground
      @frumtheground 3 ปีที่แล้ว +33

@@JesusChristTheOne By a big portion, what percentage do you mean? I'd be curious to read up more on those numbers. No one's saying Anna wasn't SAed, just pointing out the fallacy of the argument. Being one thing doesn't mean you're not also capable of being another ie, having black friends means I'm not racist, having a disability means I'm not ablist, being a victim of SA means I can't SA someone else. We all know people have said similar things following a statement that proves the opposite. Keep in mind, the vast majority of SA ISN'T motivated by sexual pleasure, but power, control, anger, sadistic tendencies, or abnormal relationship modeling. It wouldn't surprise me if Anna was being truthful about being raped since it is so common especially among women, but it doesn't make her any less of a rapist, a danger to others or any less of an abuser. She's been documented showing a history of preying on vulnerable and underaged people with everything coming out. Maybe it was normalized for her at an early age, and that would definitely explain a lot. But from watching her it comes across to me (imo, don't come for me) that she's pretty aware of her behavior and how it effected her girlfriends. Not that she perceived these things as love or as normal. But she also seems like she needs to be evaluated professionally, so who really knows.

@Jodi Tipton same here mama. ♡ I have 3 children, suffer with BPD, anxiety and I have 7 years sober. I just wanna say, I am so very proud of you. You are a hell of a strong woman. I know that much.
My addiction started from a psychiatrist handing me script after script. As many as 8 at one time. He had me taking 3 benzos at one time, but all for 'different things.' I was 20 when he was introduced to me at a hospital. I thought he was helping. I trusted him. I saw him for 7 years, and by year 2 I was experimenting with my meds, trying to find which combos would help, with the least side effects. I got sick of the pain and turmoil and turned to prescription pain killers, to numb the pain. He saw them show in my blood work and urine tests. He would say, "stop taking the pain pills," open his desk drawer and hand me benzos, from someone else's bottle! When I got into harder drugs and begged him for help, he took me off a few meds and that was it. Finally, my gynecologist helped me find treatment... My gyno! Just ridiculous. Needless to say, I stopped seeing him, did research and found a wonderful primary care physician, who is an hour away from me, but worth it. I am on 2 meds that agree with me and I see a counselor at a recovery clinic who has been a god send.

Same with old dudes dating very young women. When I was 21 I ended up with a 43 yr old biker guy for nearly 9 months. It may have been legal but it still wasn't ok. How could we possibly been on equal levels intellectually, emotionally, existentially, financially, socially, even spiritually? It was not a healthy, balanced relationship. How the hell could it be? No shame in my game, I'm not a victim, its been over 20 years ago, nothing like hindsight and wisdom to help encourage others to make healthier decisions for themselves.

@@youtubecommentor2344 legality and morality are two different things. In my opinion, the emotional/mental growth difference between an 18 year old and a 24 year old is just too wide. How would you even relate to a person so young? It’s a red flag because younger people are easier to manipulate as they don’t have as much real dating experience and aren’t as mature. It makes you question the older person and their real intentions

Yeah....because dealing with her reality sux. I literally can’t blame her. It’ll only get worse if she’s gonna be accused of things she doesn’t feel she did. IE pedo-behavior. All of her gfs were 18+ and Kaylee, the youngest btw, has stated she is mad that her home was dirty and she surprised Anna from behind when Anna hit her, etc. No offense but those are BASIC complaints that a lot of ppl have, no drugs involved. It’s not ok either but we weren’t there and I’m just not ok with giving these gals the benefit of the doubt. Taylor was called out for lying about her own drug use and it looks like she’s trying to pin it on Anna. Kaylee has tattoos everywhere and she can’t take a punch? Again it’s not ok but if she were in a biker bar, she would be expected to act more grown up that how she’s screaming about it now. Of course drugs r bad mkay but she’s hurting herself and her argument. The other girls do not ever have to let her back into their lives but they’re publicly coming for her and trying to get everyone else to too. For what? So they can control Anna and make her act a certain way when they do have her back? So she can take the fault for their crimes? Natalie kissed the minor too btw. She commented on this thread and didn’t have the decency to correct it.

The top three characteristic traits of a rapist are #1 lack of empathy #2 narcissism #3 the need to dominate or control. We can observe all of these things very loudly through Anna’s whole channel all of her reaction videos and all of her “apology videos”…Where she addresses Taylor she brings up another girl to show her dominance and she also brings up every single person Taylor has called to try to flip the switch and seem like the victim because that’s what narcissist will do they’re never wrongAnd in any wrong situation they are going to be the victim because they’re not going to be the aggressor because they are never wrong I am a psychologist and if you want me to upload documentation I will I should start doing reaction videos to stuff like this because I am very skilled at what I do and I am a body language expert and I see through BS and Anna has a lot of issues she absolutely is capable of this and all of her TH-cam is evidence for it and any lawyer that wants to take her to court for raping somebody could easily easily get a psychologist to break down her TH-cam and very easily use it as evidence against her to prove her mental illness as a narcissist and narcissist usually are most prevalently rapists or serial killers but the video where she’s calling Taylor out is very disturbing it also doesn’t make sense that Taylor told the whole world… that is absolutely not typical behavior of a victim but it also depends on if she was under the influence when she made the calls and outed her girlfriend that can give somebody courage or she could be also making it up I don’t understand I understand speaking out against your violator but it doesn’t make sense that she speaking out against her violator to her family because that is very untypical of a victim victims are scared and mortified and humiliated I know because it happened to me that’s why I went to school for it but you would never reach out to your violators family you might tell everybody else in the world but that’s the one thing youWouldn’t do it unless you were lying or embellishing

Yes, women can be predators too. The problem is we like to think people that are "bad" are meant to look a certain way so we ignore/are not aware of the blatant red flags within their actions. Bad people do not walk around looking like bad people. They exhibit red flag type behaviors and THATS what we need to learn about and teach everyone to look out for. Predators are going to do harm whenever they can and we need to know that and become aware of the signs so we can see that wolf in sheep's clothing because that wolf won't ever reveal themselves.

I feel bad for Natalia. I really dislike when people shame someone for leaving a relationship. If they were abusing substances and the relationship was taking a toll on her health, nobody should be shaming her for leaving. She had to do what was best for her. My ex was abusive and he got arrested right before we split up. When he came home he beat me bc he was arrested and I ended up in the hospital for a week. I took that opportunity to leave. And his family said "how could you leave him when he's got so much going on? You said you loved him, apparently you don't really love him if you can just leave like that" I was sitting in a hospital bed with two black eyes, a chest tube, cellulitis that caused my right arm to swell 3 times it's normal size and I had to have it in a sling, bruising on my ribcage, and cigarette burns on my hands ..and his family had the audacity to ask me how I could leave him with every thing HE had going on. If I didn't leave I would have died, eventually he wouldve gone too far. The reality is nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors and nobody should be shaming anybody for doing what is best for them. I'm sorry that Natalia had to deal with that. And I hope she's okay now.

I completely understand Kaylee’s actions. My dad was an addict and my mom, who stayed with my dad until he died, shared this with me:
She said that she wanted him to better, no matter what, no matter what he said/done when he was drunk, because his addiction wasn’t who he truly was. He was ill.
But the last time we saw him before he died, my mom said she had an overwhelming rush of sadness because she knew she had to let my dad go. Her words. She didn’t give up on him.
She didn’t want to. She wasn’t selfish. She loved him with all her heart and still says that he was the only man she was ever fully in love with, but because she couldn’t do it anymore. She had kids. She needed to protect us. She had done everything she could do. And it literally killed her. She still cries just thinking about that day, almost 13 years later.
I think a lot of people who haven’t had experience with addicts write people off who are in relationships with them as stupid for staying and selfish for leaving, but it’s not black and white.
Addicts are sick people, but there’s a point for your own health and safety, you have to let them go and make their mistakes. Or else it’s mutually assured destruction, and the person who loved the addict is left with nothing.
And I’m not talking about without money, I’m talking about nothing left emotionally, spiritually, mentally. And that’s hard to gain back.

I subscribed to Anna allll the way back in like 2016 or something, when she was still with her long term boyfriend. It’s so crazy to see how drugs and TH-cam affected her so negatively. I did have compassion for her previously because she has mental health issues but…it’s all wayyyy too much and has spiraled out of control. It’s more than just messy, it’s dangerous, violent….it’s so disturbing to watch. I hope Anna can get help with her substance abuse issues and mental health issues. If she doesn’t, she could do even more real long term damage to another victim.

Yeah, she wasn't always like this but there was a clear shift when she got caught up in substances. It's hard to watch. My immediate reaction was denial when seeing this title... And am still watching begrudgingly. Feels shitty to think we were likely manipulated. Especially after a year of calling out other toxic TH-camrs and their fans

When it comes to substance usage remember these things:
-no amount of any substance is "safe", if you want to experiment there are safer ways to do it than others
-if you are going to experiment with substances the first thing you should do is have them professionally tested (every rave/festival has these stations, you can also get police testing kits online)
-tell someone who is sober what you're doing and how much of it you're doing
-have a sober buddy with you if you're doing it at a house party or something
    -start low and go slow
-the second you feel the need to do any substance to function or have fun then it is a problem.

Its really sad to see that adults are manipulative to young fans knowing they are so impressionable. I watched anna for a short time before seeing her relationship content and immediately seeing red flags. But im an adult, this stuff is easier to see. Yess so true. And you're right for calling them kids. 18 yo might be legally adult but the life experience that's missing gives exactly enough naivety for older adults to prey on them. We should stop seeing 18 year olds as fully grown and functioning adults when they're often still very impressionable. In this case, seeing how anna abused her position to get with these impressionable young girls (especially taylor and kaylee were very young), is almost as bad to me as getting with a minor.

I am a woman in my 20's with BPD and I've had to learn that no matter what you've been through or how big your emotions are, that does not give you a free pass to be toxic and abusive to others. Typically people with BPD "split" or everything is always black or white. We will feel so much love and infatuation over someone and monets later can feel hatred for them. We have issues feeling secure within ourselves and our identity so we tend to in a sense, mimic those around us we spend the most time with. It is a very difficult personality disorder to have. My ex psychiatrist told me she would not diagnose me with BPD because if a doctor sees that on my record they will often refuse to treat patients with BPD. They also told me it was like a chronic illness. It will never really go away but it is treatable. I cannot say I'm perfect and I have so far to go in my recovery but recognizing I was not okay, getting off drugs, and surrounding myself with good supportive people was the best thing I could do for myself. It's unfortunate that not everyone has the ability to get treatment but I encourage people to at least try to reach out. You never know what you're missing out on until you get better and it gets easier the longer you practice healthy coping skills.
