love the smell of film collections in the morning. Nothing can stop the collection of physical media. If necessary, we will send ourselves back to the future. have a nice Sunday. Jens
"Arabesque" is a good espionage thriller, although Gregory Peck later commented that the producers tried to make him more like Cary Grant, with the Grant-esque one liners (like in North By Northwest). "Godzilla" just turned 70. "Seven Samurai" turned 70 earlier this year. It was Toho's 1, 2 punch for 1954 and both starring the great Takashi Shimura
Circus of Horrors is just a whole lot of fun. Grisly murders, but set in the bright, colorful world of the circus. A terrific lead performance by Anton Diffring as a wacky surgeon and lots of voluptuous women in skippy costumes. What’s not to love?
I have the steelbook of Planes, trains .. that I found on sale in Target on a random day last year or so. My target has zero physical media now☹️ Nothing new stands out to me this week😮 I did however pick up criterion Blowout with Travolta which I remember really liking 😁
The whole thing with that new turtles show is it is supposed to be continuing that movie in the form of a show but I think they did re casting and got new people to work on it
I am excited for the Scarface criterion they should have added the al Pacino version and made it a double pack like happened with the Al Pacino anniversary edition
