Finger Lakes Jigging for BIG LAKERS! (& Bonus Brown Trout)

It's early Fall and I'm Back in the Finger Lakes fishing the depths for Lakers. A thunderstorm looms over todays' trip, but before it arrives we get into them and catch a few very large fish AND a welcome bonus species in the mix. Midway through the trip I go over the technique I'm using to catch them.

whats ur rod/reel combo ? looks like it handles those big fish really well

Here I'm using a 7' medium Fenwick HMG, the reel is a Shimano Stradic 2500.

They're excellent smoked!
