Moon Gorgeous Meditation was just on another level. It was snappy, less dancing and more camera work, the poses and the music were great... it's the most badass that Sailormoon has ever been. But Moon Tiara Action has to be the most charming of them all. Like it has a certain stardust that the rest don't have.
4:15 The transition from "stage out" to Starlight Honeymoon was so good! But Moon Gorgeous Meditation will always be my favorite! The music, flow of animation, the split/triple screens, the intensity of Sailor Moon's aura/face, the colors! Perfection!
This is where the villain is given an opportunity to run for their lives. But for some reason they choose to watch Sailor Moon do her poses until she is finished and do her attack.
My thoughts are that the villain might be hypnotized in some trance when she performs the sequence leading up to the attack which explains why they don't flee for cover.
@@CincyRaz that is the case as several times in the movies they fire off attacks instantaneously without all the powering up we see And in the Manga it's instant as well Same with the transformations they are near instant but we see it slowed down Honestly they take long in the show so as to fill out the time required of a weekly episode kinda thing

It didn’t seem like they had a low budget back then for stars, I imagine the gorgeously animated feathers took tons of labour and time. How did they end up giving the most uncreative boring make up and attack sequences that season (and from this video I realised it’s even longer than all other attacks)? Which was the finale and it was meant to be the best.
I never thought of this before but the super form for sailor moon was so unstable. The chalice was limited time use, and when she used Pegasus energy she could attack without mini-moon. What happened there?!
Silver Crystal Power Kiss is kind of tragic because it’s the only one where SM looks truly sad that she’s doing it. All the others she looks determined but this is the only one where she seems to be just hurt….

Because the enemies are allegedly stronger as the show goes on. We see this is Sailor Moon S First Episode! Sailor Moon used *Moon Princess Halation* from the last season, and the Daimon blocked it. Not just blocked it, but knocked the Scepter out of Sailor Moon's hand! XD And then midway, we see another Daimon named *"Western",* shoot Moon Spiral Heart Attack with ease! Something Eudial had trouble doing normally. This required Sailor Moon to power up to an even greater transformation, and become a brand new form to defeat it. Then in the next season after that, Sailor Moon Super S. Around the 3rd episode I would say? *Hawk Eye* blocked Moon Spiral Heart Attack with his bare hands, pushing him back, but sustained no injuries whatsover doing so. Showing the level and capable strength of Dead Moon Circus, and that Sailor Moon's current strength is no longer effective, and will be weak against this new enemy. Just for the record, this is different from when the Daimon, Western blocks Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Western uses her energy attacks, but Hawk Eye uses his hands and tanks it, showing that even if he never blocked it, it wouldn't hurt him at all! But with Western? It might have killed her if she never shot her gun and blocked it.

I didn't include any Crystal attacks. Those were usually individually animated and don't really fit with the stock animation style the original used.
