Man these were the best days for Roadkill. Frieburger still wore his weird hats, Mike's beard still looked strange, and they were still genuinely excited about shooting the episode. I miss the good old days, lol.
Re-watching this 'cause it reminds me how much I used to love Roadkill before it was shuttered away by corporate types and made inaccessible to much of the rest of the Western world...
Anywho, also chuckling away at "Skinny Mike" and thinking how well Freiburger wore the face fur :D

Where I live they moved MT TV to a more expensive channel tier. I'd have to pay an extra $50/mo to watch Roadkill, and that is the only show worth watching on that tier. I'm pissed!

I’ve seen every episode, roadkill garage too. As well as all the other content. Well worth the $5 a month. Lot cheaper than a mag subscription…I stopped subscribing to HR and Car Craft mags.
@@kw2519 and the point that people like you miss, is we as a TH-cam audience built this show to what it is through views and subscriptions only to get stabbed in the back for more money
@@patsgarage8593 TH-cam stopped building the show a year after it started. It’s been growing for years and it branches into other content.
You used to be fine with paying them $11 a month for a magazine. I view it the same way. I’m sorry if you think $5 is a hill to die on. I want to see David make money. I’m happy for them.
At the end of the day, they can’t make the show without money and motor trend provides that money.

Probably one of the most personal builds on roadkill but why this has only been up for 16 hours has me curious? As for my interest , a gasser and a Chevvy tri five with a good v8 ,frame and modern good stuff is the kid in me being vicarious and knowing then that , my dreams could have been a reality.

I miss roadkill being free oh well they were bound to charge $$$. There website stinks I put down charge me each month and they charged me for a full year ! I canceled it won't ever watch again !
I didnt have a problem to pay few bucks for MTOD. Lots of good content. But then they pulled the plug for most of the world.
