I'm a United fan. Liverpool's defense is twice as good as ours. Maguire is in terrible form, so much so that I prefer Bailly to him. Varane is past his best and is already in injury troubles. AWB is the best tackler in the world, but his positioning has been terrible lately (to be clear, it's not his fault, as Ole wants him to be an attacking wing back like Shaw but he simply isn't good enough going forward, and that takes him way out of position). Shaw is great going forward, but like AWB, his positioning has been terrible lately. I mean, come on, our defense has been so bad that for the first time since SAF left, we're playing with a back 5. Aside from that, anyone that thinks Salah is better than Ronaldo is insane. Salah may be in better FORM right now, but he also has the advantage of being in the correct system at Liverpool. Ronaldo is playing as a striker in a pressing team, and the front 3 don't want to press, so they had to completely change the formation to suit Ronaldo's position. Ronaldo is one of the greatest of all time, and I love that he came back to United, but unfortunately the timing is terrible. Would have been way better if he would have returned a few years back instead of going to Juventus, which was clearly just a waste of time.

I'm a United fan. Liverpool's defense is twice as good as ours. Maguire is in terrible form, so much so that I prefer Bailly to him. Varane is past his best and is already in injury troubles. AWB is the best tackler in the world, but his positioning has been terrible lately (to be clear, it's not his fault, as Ole wants him to be an attacking wing back like Shaw but he simply isn't good enough going forward, and that takes him way out of position). Shaw is great going forward, but like AWB, his positioning has been terrible lately. I mean, come on, our defense has been so bad that for the first time since SAF left, we're playing with a back 5. Aside from that, anyone that thinks Salah is better than Ronaldo is insane. Salah may be in better FORM right now, but he also has the advantage of being in the correct system at Liverpool. Ronaldo is playing as a striker in a pressing team, and the front 3 don't want to press, so they had to completely change the formation to suit Ronaldo's position. Ronaldo is one of the greatest of all time, and I love that he came back to United, but unfortunately the timing is terrible. Would have been way better if he would have returned a few years back instead of going to Juventus, which was clearly just a waste of time.

I'm a Messi fanboy, but Ronaldo has a much more difficult task at United than Salah has at Liverpool with an amazingly coached team and a great set of players that can play off on another. Take Salah out of that team and play Firmino Jota and Mane and they'll still be a top side at the UCL and the Prem. Take Ronaldo out of that United team they'd be out of the UCL by now.
