flap discs come in the size for 4.5 and 5 inch sizes for angle grinders too...and maybe make shorter work of some of the undercoating.once you grind to bare metal, that is good time to spray weld through primer on all the bare metal, so it does not flash rust before you weld

Thanks for the tip. Luckily I have it in a climate controlled garage so flash rusting is minimal.

Yes and I'll be putting in some Pentium 2 chips to replace them.
