Excellent content - thank you (I have a 996 which I’m sure is similar behind the aero side skirts….) this is giving me the confidence to remove them and have a look! 🏁
Hi Shane - I see you have a Quick Jack. They seem to get good reviews. What is your opinion on it - The Good/ The Bad and where did you purchase it from? I too have a 996 albeit with a Internal Combustion engine 😀
I really like my QuickJack. I used to get really stressed getting the 996 up into 4 jack stands as the weight distribution and jacking points seemed to make it just balance on 2 diagonally across the car until I got the 4th stand in place. Now I just slide the quickjack under the car and press a button. The only real downsides are 1) that you can only go in from the front or back of the car, so need a long enough garage to give you space to do that. I usually take the wheels off when it’s up to improve access. 2) it’s rather bulky to store when not in use. I think I finally found an out of the way spot that works, but I had to reorganise the garage a bit to do it. I got mine through CostCo
It's been a while... Good to have you back

Wellcome back. I
Was thinking what’s up with your videos
Thanks! Day job took over for a while, but I’m keen to get this car on the road and bring you guys along for the ride.

@@PerformanceEV You do know you can use the Quickjacks sideways under the car right - not just lengthways
