I got my ragdoll kitten back in May of this year - and when everyone online said "they literally follow you everywhere."- I thought "Ok, sure". BUT, boyyyy was everyone serious haha. My little guy Theo practically sleeps with one eye open. If he so much as hears me move, he perks up to see where I'm going!
It’s seriously the cutest thing ever 😂 I was a little unsure about it too at first! It’s so fun having them everywhere. Happy to know that it happens with you too 💕 Lot’s of love and cuddles to your little fur ball from Imogene and I 🥰
I desperately wanted a ragdoll cat for YEARS. I was never allowed a cat anyway but I’d always bring it up how much I wanted one and if it never happened, there would be some point in my life where I would get one. Well fast forward, we found the most beautiful pedigree maine coon kitten (long story short my mum doesn’t like light coloured cats according to her and of course ragdolls are predominately white/cream in colour so she wouldn’t let me have one even though this was essentially my cat) and she follows absolutely everyone out of the room if they leave. Sometimes she likes to try and beat you into the room though which almost ends in disaster cause she runs right between your feet so you gotta be careful you don’t step on her. She’s not much of a cuddler though hahah. I can’t hold her for very long without her fidgeting and you absolutely cannot try and keep her in one place. She also likes to run away from everyone that tries to come near her, especially when she’s really hyper. But she is also still a baby (she’ll be 12 weeks on Friday) so as she gets older and even more used to being here all of that could change. I love how she follows me though.
I have a ragdoll too I love her so much she will be 2 in April. She follows me EVERYWHERE, your so right they will be sound asleep an as soon as she hears me walking she wakes up to see where I’m going. She waits in front of the toilet, she will sit on the shower Matt, follows me into the laundry while I load my washing machine. She is so adorable!!🥰 and to think I was never a cat person always a dog person. I picked this breed as they are puppy like in nature. She even greets me at the door😆
I completely understand, I was babysitting the little one. He had his own food bowl but kept running to my cats feeder since it is automatic, but I made sure to always separate them when it was time to eat. But it’s a great point, they should always have separate bowls.
@@hananslens I have two Ragdolls and feed them together, but if I'm not watching, sometimes the male takes over both until he's done and then she'll eat after he's finished. It's seems it's almost as if she does that naturally as opposed to him driving her off.
I have a twelve and a half year old rag doll rescue that I got from a bad cattery. For the first twelve years of his life, when he wasn’t being bred he was kept in a cage. With a lot of work, now he knows love, and has kitty friends, although he gets overwhelmed and scared easily. We still are very proud how far he has come in such a short amount of time!!!
Aww poor thing! I’m so happy he found someone like you that was there to give him love and feel secure! You’re amazing 👏🏼 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
I own three ragdolls, I bought Gracie when she was 16 months from a breeder, and amazingly 60 days later she gave birth to Lily and Louis, I didn't know she was pregnant, and they are pure ragdoll, I just couldn't part with them. They are now 16 months old themselves and all are adorable, with different personalities, and all are so close.
They also start out pretty much all white as kittens. Then as they grow older they start to change color. You will literally look at them one day, and then the next you will wonder where did that color marking come from. They also have a tendency to change colors with temperature. The cooler points get darker. You may also notice that they are darker colored in winter.
My rag doll is bigger than my dogs and acts more like a calm, wise, observant dog. He is too heavy to jump on counter tops and tables(me like). He is very intelligent. He tells me what he wants, leads me to his request. If he is irritated by not getting his request you will know it. He looks out for the neighborhood cats as well as my dogs. He was a craigslist save from being sent to a shelter because a pregnant woman was afraid to have a cat around her newborn. He is such a blessing.
i have been feeding a stray ragdoll for a few months. i have taken in a lot of strays, and this one barely knows how to be stray at all. he's so mellow. he's very smart, and i've tamed him without even really trying. he's super sweet, very shy still, but just so cool. and he has those beautiful blue eyes.
I own a ragdoll! He is so loving , he follows me everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE 😂 he purrs all the time ,and he likes to sleep in my bed lol ,and he's super fluffy!
I have both! The mitten blue and white apricot. My apricot and white Ragdoll didn’t get his full color in until maybe 5 years and continued to develop. His coloring is exquisite!
My son was given a Ragdoll cat after the owner died 5 years ago in 2018. She was or had gotten pregnant and had 6 kittens. I got one of them. She is more reserved and doesn’t like to be picked up like others. She is very lovey during bedtime. Recently the brother of my ragdoll had to be given up so I got him as well now. It took them about a week to get comfortable enough to play together. It’s been 2 months now and they play like they’ve never been separated.
Hello, just subscribed. Thank you for the tips. We are excited while waiting for our Zeus, ( name we got for our Persian Ragdoll mixed breed), he would be here before new year. He would be our first. I wondered how they (Imogene and Garzini?) both looked like now though. I hope to see new videos with them soon. Cheers!
I’m so excited for you guys to get your Persian Ragdoll 👏🏼 You guys will love your kitty so much! Imogene is now threw years old, I should make a video about her color changes as she grew up. Grisini is in the bahamas with his new family 😃 I was babysitting him in that video for a short while until his new parents were able to take him home.
This was really helpful! I want a ragdoll but right now my kids are still small so I worry about having enough time for it, since they seem to need so much attention
I have two Ragdoll cats that visit me from the backyard. Their owners let them stop out most of the time as backyard cats rather than indoor cats. Both are a mama cat and her kitten.
Thank you so much for the info on grooming and removing cat hair. Getting our new Rag Doll baby in 4 weeks & watching all I can to see what works for others Enjoy them!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I have a ragdoll cat Missy for 3 years now. The 3 main things you need to know, before owning a ragdoll cat: 1. They are more like dogs than cats haha. They follow you everywhere. 2. Non aggressive. They're like... Rag dolls 😂 3. Oh my gosh THE HAIR. Prepare to meet your new best friend: lint roller
Haha that is exactly what everyone needs to know 😂 Omg the hair is intense 😂 It’s all over the floor within seconds! Have you tried the chomchom roller for furniture? I have a video that show’s how to use it. It is such a game changer 😍
@@hananslens yeees exactly!! 😂 I vacuum the house one day, hair everywhere the next day hahah. I did check the video!! Game changer indeed. I literally got one the day after I saw the video. 🙏❤️ But at the end, they are our fur babies... Can't be mad at them. 😜
I have a Ragdoll kitten and he only has two modes: extreme love-bombing or constant attack with biting and scratching. He is pure love but also drives me bonkers. I hope he chills down a bit when he gets older... lol
They should have their own feeding bowls would stop the competition.I have ragdolls and the adult ragdoll always lets the kitten eat the food first that's why its good to have separate bowls.
They both had there own lol it was only because I was baby sitting the little one, so he wasn’t used to seeing a feeder that automatically spills food for my kitty. But I definitely made sure to always separate them ☺️
Beautiful! I love Ragdolls and Birmans; but a suggestion. You need to feed them wet or raw food; I lost my Ragdoll to kidney failure - dry food played a large role in his demise.
Aww 🥺 I’m so sorry for your loss!! Thank you for letting me know, I really should look into that. I’ve heard that it’s good to switch between dry and wet food from time to time 💕
Wylie Coyote closer to their natural diet is best and that certainly didn’t involve dry food. Mine snacks on grain free biscuits in the day but her daily meal is raw meat most of the time.. so sorry for your loss 🥺 my baby is 5 and I hope I have another 10 with her 🙏
Hey Pasha! Actually I did, I solved it by brushing her teeth. There are also treats that help with that issue. I hope this helps. I’ll create a video on how to brush your cats teeth, it’s super easy.
I feed my cats oral cat food once every few feedings, the food is bigger and breaks up sharper it basically cleans their teeth. My bengal female had bad breath till I figured it out.
I have a Scottish Fold and a Ragdoll, and by far the Ragdoll is the lover boy. They are both males. Scottish Fold is 1-1/2 years old and Ragdoll is 8 months. They get along well, play and chase each other. Ragdoll eats and eats and eats; he weighs 12 pounds already- 5 pounds just a few months ago. Scottish Fold weighs 9-1/2 pound. Ragdoll always follows us around too like you said yours does. They are beautiful cats with beautiful blue eyes.
Haha how cute! My ragdoll can keep eating too 😅 We bought her a feeder so we can start feeding her in portions. Scottish folds are gorgeous, you have two beautiful breeds! Enjoy! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
I use dryer sheets to get the hair off of our furniture. We have 3 cats. A Scottish fold, ragdoll & your average shorthair house cat. I’m hoping our ragdoll will settle down some. He’s still under 1. He’s pretty busy.
Hey there 👋🏼 that’s not a bad idea at all, I should definitely try that out 😃 That’s awesome, they must enjoy being together! I was looking into a Scottish fold as my next cat to accompany mine. My ragdoll is 1 and a half and she is still pretty busy as well 😂
@@hananslens Our ragdoll is still too busy for our Scottish fold. He’s over 10yrs old. He doesn’t mind him if he’s not trying to attack 😹. I would recommend a fold. They have similar personality. Love following their owners.
i did own a ragdoll but what happened today was the worse days for us, since he been unwell and unfortunately had to put asleep, he was only 3 years old so still sad about it atm but nice watching videos about ragdolls, may get another one in a year time but time will see
I have two 11 weeks Ragdoll, male, kittens and they are not calm for too long. I am guessing it is because they are kittens. They do not really like to be picked up yet (as I see your guest pet does not like either). They do, once a night meow for my attention and petting (it is the cutest thing). They are very active and are growing fast. I only feed them dry kitten food but, I give them wet food twice a day at the same time of the day. I am afraid to give them any treats or even switch their food because I did once and, one got bad diarrhea! I am hoping I will be able to clip the tip of their claws someday but, right now they do not like me to touch their paws whatsoever. I have washed them in water and they do not like it. I did leave them in the humid bathroom for over an hour because I didn't want them to get a cold and they dried on their own completely (after towel drying of course.) I can't imagine using a blow dryer because they are terrified of the stick vacuum I have. Thank you for the video.
LMAO 😂 I can admit that happens to me too, but it varies from season to season (Shedding season)!! Even if it isn't shedding season I do still see a lot of hair, but not as much. I just keep brushing and I live off of the chom chom roller for furniture.
Our ragdoll waits until there's movement in the morning, alarm clock usually.. Before expecting to be fed, or let outside for the toilet.. If this doesn't happen early enough we get gentle taps on the head.. He's also batty about his lazer pen red dot.. Brilliant way to exercise your ragdoll and stimulate.. Because they play so hard.. A few 30 second bursts usually puts him on his favourite chair sleeping
I love it haha!!! My ragdoll does the same in the morning, she usually walks up to my face and meows till I wake up 😂 I need to try playtime with the lazer, I haven’t done so in so long.
I've actually heard bad things about using a furminator on ragdoll cats. Since they have no undercoat, it pulls on their hair. A normal good quality comb and brush should be all you need. I recommend the ones from JW Pet.
Hey! Yea the furminator grabs lots of hair, I try to use it lightly with one pass on each section of her hair. I will definitely check out JW Pet, thank you :)
I think my 100% ragdoll cat Gustave is partially broken because when you pick him up he doesn't go limp. The only time he goes limp is if you try to pick him up when he doesn't want to be picked up. He's then very hard to pick up. Love his bad ass to the max though 😹🐾😻🐈
Haha 😂 I feel you! Sometimes my cat isn’t in the mood to be carried, especially when she’s in a playful mood! They each have there own lovely personalities 😅
my ragdoll is 10 year and they do samthingg know than wen they are small the only different is that they are more chill and less play full. ofcors you can still play with them.
Hi Hanan, I got a Ragdoll a few months ago & just love him (Jack)! My niece has a Ragdoll & got to see how wonderful Ragdolls are cause I was in the hospital & stayed with my sister (& niece) afterwards to recover & get rehab. Anyway, where did you get the food & water feeders & what are they called? Loved your brushing techniques as well. Thanks, Anne
I my first video I watched is how to brush Rag-doll cat’s fur as I have never heard of this cat breed and I have lost my cat this year October 20th 2023, he was a blue Burmese cat with grey fur, he died age of 16 years old he was my very FIRST car ever as I git him on my birthday in, Year 2005 on my 3rd Birthday cat.🐱 🥳 He was was the cutest, loving cared cat who EVER LIVED.😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
@@hananslens And I admire your work with Rags; glad you understand that I don't expect to find one at the shelter, and I'm eager to adopt a rescue cat because Rags are an exception to the general rule of not supporting breeders.
The whole time I thought you named your cat Imaging....I was you're like a radiologist or something lol...they're so cute! I'm picking up my ragdoll kitten in 2 weeks, can't wait to have him in my life 🥰
try switching to wet food, or even better try raw food dry food is the worst for cats it will cause alot of diseases and also, cats doesn’t need to shower at all, like once or twice a year is enough for them because they’re really clean and constantly clean their selves with their tongue all you have to do is brush them daily and if they smell use a wipe but try not to shower them often last small tip is don’t put the collar on ur cat 24/7 it’s really uncomfortable for them, especially if there is a ring attached to it, it can damage their ears of the loud sound. and the collar can cause her hair around her neck to fall off
My rag doll Frostie is the same colour as Imogene and he is now 10 months old. He is an absolute joy to be around. I should get a chom chom roller if only at least when someone calls and asks what i'm doing i can say "i'm chom choming"... i didn't know that was a thing but Hanan thinks it is - lol Great video. Salaam and Ramadhan Kareem from Scotland and Eid Mubarak (in 2 or 3 days insha Allah). You should start to take 300-400mg Vitamin B1 daily. I promise you - you will be amazed at the results within a week or two. and then you will want to ask......how did i know?
Ragdoll cats are literally dog-like. They are great for families who are active and want a cat that’s always around. This breed isn’t for someone who lives alone or spent a vast majority of their time away from home. I have a Burmese cat, she’s great. She literally follows me everywhere and plays with my kids and always around us. I chose Burmese over Ragdoll simply because I didn’t want to deal with long hair that will shed everywhere. Burmese are intelligent and super cute with their round eyes. Mine likes some alone time once in awhile but does sleep with one eye open and always looking for me 🤣 To make life easy, you can groom your cat daily or have them shaved once in a while. Great content. Love your cats. They’re adorable.
Aww this is amazing 🥰 Burmese kitty’s are beautiful!!! Enjoy your little baby they are so much fun! Thank you so much for the sweet message. Happy new year 🎊
Very nice video 😊 I don’t have a cat but I am thinking about getting a ragdoll 😊 but why do you need to shower a cat? And do they jump on furniture? I mean tables or kitchen counter (not chairs)
Hey Dominika 😃 I usually don't shower her that often since cats clean them selves. But over time there hair starts to look oily and stuck together. It can also be from our hands petting her. So I try to shower her every few months because of that. Lol the jumping is insane, she jumps everywhere. I am happy though because the only place she hasn't been able to jump to is the kitchen counters. At least because of her breed I feel like she jumps gracefully, she never uses her nails to get on or off of our furniture.
Yes a scratch post is so important. I trained her to used it by giving her a treat every morning and night whenever she uses the post. It helps a lot! 😃
hi! i have a seal point 4 month old ragdoll, everyone says their ragdoll are so affectionate and will not leave u alone. mine likes us and plays A LOT but she doesn’t like to be cuddled, she’s not very expressive of her affection. the only time she’ll head bud is when i’m near her bowl of food 🙄 can someone tell me if they grow to be affectionate or will she be like that forever?
Great informative Video! Thank you! 🥰your Emmine? Is very cute so is Crissini. You should keep him! I Love Ragdolls. I thought you were supposed to always have two cats (with any cat really but especially Ragdolls since they are extremely social) when you have a Ragdoll as they can easily feel lonely and develop anxiety or depression when their owner is out of the house. Might be wrong but that’s what i‘ve found in my research, because i want a Ragdoll too.
Can you leave food out for Ragdoll kitties and let them eat when they want, or do you have to have designated feeding times and then put the food away between feedings? I've had Himalayans and you can just leave food out for them and they eat when they want.
Hey 🥰 I have a pet feeder machine that feeds her small portions every few hours. I do that so she can have healthy weight without over eating. You can definitely do like you said by taking it away between feedings 😃 Usually you can leave the food out all day and ragdolls will eat when they want, but as they get older the food portions start to change depending on age and how active they are as they get older.
I'm getting a cross ragdoll dad is full mum is a cross ragdoll do you think this is still a good choice as we can not eford a full ragdoll but is it a good choice for a family cat and do you think will have the ragdoll features
Hey there 😀 personally I love every single cat breed and each one has there own beautiful characteristics. I highly believe that a cross ragdoll would be as beautiful as having a full bred ragdoll. You may have some of the ragdoll traits and some of the other mix too. Cats in general are super sweet, so a mix sounds like it’ll have at least some of the ragdoll features 😊
Everyone says ragdolls are meant to be cuddly and love cuddles and being held and want to sleep on your chest and stuff. I have a ragdoll and yes she is affectionate and yes she goes limp when I hold her and once she nuzzled in my neck and head and slept on my chest. But she hasn’t done it since. She doesn’t really follow me everywhere. I have had her for a week now. Do I just need to let her settle in longer? Will she be that ragdoll cat that I hoped for. She seemed so cuddly and affectionate. I was hoping for an emotional support cat. Also I should probably mention that she was super super skittish at first and didn’t come out of hiding for a few days. So I need help?!!???? Will she become more cuddly and she needs to settle in?
Hi there ☺️ I feel like she might still be adjusting to her new home. My cat actually goes through different mood’s depending on the situation. I noticed whenever I take her to the cat sitter she tends to be to herself until she adjusts again. Also I once took her to my moms house for a couple of days and she would not even move from under the couch for a few days. So it usually takes some time for them to get used to there surroundings. Some toys and treats can also help for bonding. Let me know how things go as the weeks go buy.
I got a ragdoll and he will be a year old in December, but I am having a hard time with him. He is constantly trying to bite me and I have not been able to break the habit. I have tried redirecting, tapping on the nose, etc, bit nothing has worked. Any advice?
Usually when cats bite it's a play fighting thing. When he tries to bite maybe play with him instead like with a rod or kicker. Also Jackson Galaxy is an amazing guy to watch when it comes to cat behaviour!
Hey there 💕 I’m sorry I’m a few months late on your comment! Has he changed his habit? Maybe try carrying a spray bottle with water? And each time you spray say “no” so he can associate that word will lead to spraying him. I hope this works
How can you tell if your ragdoll is a flamepoint or a creampoint. My ragdolls' parents were both flamepoints, but she looked cream to me. But I could be wrong. She is 1 year old, and her body is like white except her points, which are like a tan. Just wasn't sure how to tell the difference.
I don’t, not sure if it’s something everyone does with there ragdoll. I actually think those hairs are adorable. I know some people worry about it being slippery on tile. But my kitty has been fine with it there.
Hey Steve 👋🏼 The shampoo is called “Chubbs bars” I usually buy it from there website. It’s a bar soap that I break into for even pieces, since the bar is pretty big. It really makes her fur shine 😊 I’ll attach the link to there site. The food I use for her is from “Royal Canin” they are great for Ragdolls 🥰
lovely cats! not sure if you heard, but collars with a bell may be annoying for cats since they are very sensitive to noises. I am sure you can find some reliable sources online.
Hey there thank you 🥰 I just recently learned about it. I’m glad I rarely put one on my cat. Whenever I did back then I always took it off after an hour. She hasn’t worn one for a year or more 💕 Thanks for letting me know
I have a mix Ragdoll and although she is not pure bred, she is so fun to have around the house. She is a indoor cat and sweet as can be. Thanks for making the videos
My ragdoll is now a year old ☺️ I have learnt it’s better to leave my en suite door open for Coco, otherwise he puts his paws under the door, very funny and lovely until he has grown so much- without me realising so I can’t open door to get out 😬
Hi Hanan, I am buying a Ragdoll next week for my kids and I am extremely confused between 2 kittens! One is all white with grey ears and tail and very light blue eyes and one that is bicolor. I showed a picture to someone who is experienced and she said that the white tagdoll has light eyes that don’t look like a ragdoll. I want to send you the two picture and tell me what you think. Thanks
Aww how exciting!! Are they siblings? If they are then they should totally be fine once you bring them home. They might meow a lot because the new home that they aren't used to, but that should go away pretty quick. I believe since they are tiny they can share the same litter box. For the food it would be nice to give them separate food and water bowls, just so they don't fight while eating. I think those are the major things lol Have fun with your new kitties!!
Hey there Clint 😃 The prices for Ragdolls vary, a great breeder is the one I got mine from. She is a cage free breeder that has the most precious and healthy babies. I have her info linked in the video description. She also has her prices on her site. You can always contact her on Instagram as well, she delivers worldwide by hand. I’m so sorry about your Bengal 😔 that’s the hardest! Yes actually I know a few people that are able to walk there Ragdolls since they trained them early, so it is definitely possible 👏🏼
I always wanted a ragdoll , unfortunately my mom doesnt want a cat bc of the hairs and claws which could ruin the furniture. Anyways I had a question, can ragdolls be home alone? Bc id like to have one once I live alone but i have to work etc so i cant be there 24/7
Hey there 🥰 great question!! I had the same concern before getting mine since I work long hours at my job 5 days a week. Ever since I’ve gotten her she’s been such a happy baby ☺️ she’s learned to adapt to our schedule. She sleeps while we’re gone and plays so much when we get home. The most important thing is to have things that will entertain them when left alone. In the beginning my kitty did cry behind the door after we left the house. But I’ve had that happen with any cat breed. After a few weeks she got used to it 🥰 I hope this helped. Can’t wait for you to have one one day 👏🏼
Thank you 😉💕 Omg the bunny soft fur is no lie 😍 I definitely noticed that Grissini was a tad softer than Imogene! But in general both are very soft and cuddly lol
Do elleragdoll.com microchip the cat before u adopt them or we should microchip the cats plzzzzzzzzzz reply I am trying to adopt cat from elleragll.com😩😥😫😭😭😭😭💞
Hey I believe you would have to microchip your cat yourself once he/she is ready to be spayed or neutered. You should get in touch with Elle just to be sure.
Hey there ☺️ that is so much fun! You’re going to love having a cat at home. Something that may help in finding out is by going to a shelter and petting the kitties to see how you react to them. I hope that works 🤞🏼
Hi. Great video. I was thinking of getting a ragdoll but people tell me they can’t be left alone and that it’s best to get two. Do you normally go out to work all day (pre covid of course!) and does she cope being alone without human or other cat company?
Hey Eleni 💕 I honestly had that same exact worry before I decided to get a Ragdoll. I made sure when I got her that she was a baby just so she could be used to our schedule as she grew up. At the time I was going to school full time, so it was a hard choice to make. As long as you make sure to have at least the weekend off with your ragdoll when you first get her then you should be fine so that he/she can have time adapt to there new home with you being there. I can honestly say that after going to school full time and now only working full time away from home she has been fine. We make sure to give her about 30 minutes of play time every night, which is important so that she doesn't feel lonely. While we aren't home she sleeps, she has learned to adapt to that life style. At first you will here her meowing at the door when you leave, but it won't last long. My kitty is happy, comfortable, and stress free. I hope this helped 💕
If it's at all possible, get two cats. They get so much company and stimulation out of each other and as kittens, two kittens is half the work as they keep each other company. A single cat, even a Raggie, should be fine even if you work full-time as long as you don't have an otherwise busy schedule, but they'll be happier with a friend. I had my Maine Coon kitten for 5 months before I got my Ragdoll, and he was fine but he's so much happier with her. Feel free to check them out in instagram @kindred_cats
I have two cats, a Russian blue and a ragdoll. I've had the Russian blue longer and the reason I got my ragdoll was to make company for my other cat since he seemed sad all the time. Now they spend so much time together and funny thing my ragdoll follows the other around everywhere. Its cute :) but I'd recommend two cats in general especially if you're away from home a lot.
I got my ragdoll kitten back in May of this year - and when everyone online said "they literally follow you everywhere."- I thought "Ok, sure". BUT, boyyyy was everyone serious haha. Awww 😍😍
Cat experts recommend a separate feeding dish and place for each cat. This will also help them to get along better.
I completely understand, I was babysitting the little one. He had his own food bowl but kept running to my cats feeder since it is automatic, but I made sure to always separate them when it was time to eat. But it’s a great point, they should always have separate bowls.

I have two Ragdolls and feed them together, but if I'm not watching, sometimes the male takes over both until he's done and then she'll eat after he's finished.

How beautiful 🥰 you truly got so lucky! I can imagine all of the love and cuddles you get from them. That is the best thing ever.
How do you afford 3...
They also start out pretty much all white as kittens. Then as they grow older they start to change color. You will literally look at them one day, and then the next you will wonder where did that color marking come from. They also have a tendency to change colors with temperature. The cooler points get darker. You may also notice that they are darker colored in winter.
It’s a dream of mine to own a ragdoll, so this video was informative.
Aww 🥰 they are really so much fun to have! I’m happy my video was helpful 💕
Aww 🥰 I love it all!! He sounds so sweet and precious.
i have been feeding a stray ragdoll for a few months. i have taken in a lot of strays, and this one barely knows how to be stray at all. he's so mellow. he's very smart, and i've tamed him without even really trying. he's super sweet, very shy still, but just so cool. and he has those beautiful blue eyes.
Aw that’s awesome, he’s loving being at your home ☺️ Enjoy every minute him!!
I own a ragdoll! He is so loving , he follows me everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE 😂 he purrs all the time ,and he likes to sleep in my bed lol ,and he's super fluffy!
Isn’t it amazing 🥰 I love my little fur ball
so cute
I dont want it to sleep on my bed tho i got hygiene
@@Brock-Lesnar-WWE okay you do you, but ragdolls are usually indoor cats so they don't really have any dirt on them n stuff
@@Hi-ev1rx I like them too but I dont even let anyone on my bed let alone sleep lol I'm gonna get a ragdoll one day
I have both! The mitten blue and white apricot. My apricot and white Ragdoll didn’t get his full color in until maybe 5 years and continued to develop. His coloring is exquisite!
Mine is halfway there 😍 my ragdoll is now 3 years old, her color is coming in so beautiful
Enjoy your little cute kitties 🤗
You are so good at explaining the facts and things about your Ragdoll's. You made me want to get one. Thanks!
Aww thank you 🥰 They really are such great company to have 💕 I appreciate your comment!
There so cool im getting 2 ragdolls next friday im so hyped! 😄
i’m getting one this saturday morning!!
@@rosiefoulston1635 Awsome 😺
Aww 🥰 how exciting!! Get ready for lots of cuddles and love from them 💕
i’ve named her daisy, she’s so amazing 🥺🥺
Omg! Me and my brother are both getting one on Christmas! So excited!! My brothers one might be named Apollo and mine will be named Duncan
I want a ragdoll but right now my kids are still small so I worry about having enough time for it, since they seem to need so much attention
we just got our ragdoll today, i love them so much
Aww yayyy so exciting 🥰
My little ragdoll is 15weeks now and she’s looks exactly like your little one. So precious!
Aww how cute 🥰 I love it!! Enjoy your little baby!
I’ve always wanted a Ragdoll, and never thought I’d get one. But I’m getting my Ragdoll boy next week!!!!🤍🤍🤍
I have two Ragdoll cats that visit me from the backyard. Their owners let them stop out most of the time as backyard cats rather than indoor cats. Both are a mama cat and her kitten.
Thank you so much for the info on grooming and removing cat hair. Getting our new Rag Doll baby in 4 weeks & watching all I can to see what works for others Enjoy them!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I’m getting mine in two weeks! I can’t wait
@@Ghaniyahgillani They are so beautiful Enjoy & congrats!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your new kitty! They're so much fun.
I have a ragdoll cat Missy for 3 years now. The 3 main things you need to know, before owning a ragdoll cat:
1. They are more like dogs than cats haha. They follow you everywhere.
2. Non aggressive. They're like... Rag dolls 😂
Love this, so true 😂
@@hananslens yeees exactly!! 😂 I vacuum the house one day, hair everywhere the next day hahah.
I did check the video!! Game changer indeed. I literally got one the day after I saw the video. 🙏❤️
But at the end, they are our fur babies... Can't be mad at them. 😜
Love ragdoll cats. Tortishell and celico are my favorites as well
and for your cat I would recommend the Litter Genie Plus or the Litter Genie XL
I’ll give it a try 😃 thank you!!!
But I definitely made sure to always separate them ☺️
I’m so excited because my mums getting me one in January! Because I’m turning 11 on October 24th so I’m having a late birthday gift :)
Aww 😍 I am so excited for you! You are going to love your new fur friend 💕
@@hananslens I’m so exciteddddd
happy birthday ahh!
Happy late birthday!
Happy birthday 🎁🎂 I wish I got a kitten 🐱❤️❤️
I’ve heard that it’s good to switch between dry and wet food from time to time 💕
@@hananslens No, no dry food at all. Cats do not need carbohydrates in their diet.
Wylie Coyote closer to their natural diet is best and that certainly didn’t involve dry food. Mine snacks on grain free biscuits in the day but her daily meal is raw meat most of the time.. so sorry for your loss 🥺 my baby is 5 and I hope I have another 10 with her 🙏
@R C Just because it didn't die doesn't mean it's healthy. People smoke and eat fast food...
Have two ragdolls, they are awesome, sisters from same litter. Will never own another cat breed.
You are so pretty!
I am going to bring home a Ragdoll kitten in a week. Which color do u suggest.
Haha thank you!
All of the ragdoll colors are beautiful. My favorites are the cream color and blue points.
@@hananslens same but I also love seal points
Shes got a husband dude
they are both cute!
question: do you notice any smell from your cat mouth? do they smell bad in general? if yes what to prevent that smell?
I am getting my blue mitted boy soon......love Ragdolls. I had a male and female previous which lived 20 and 21 years.
Aww how exciting 😃 You are going to have a blast with your new baby, congrats!
IM GETTING A RAGDOLL KITTEN TOMORROW !!
Omg the cat is so calm with u when u brushed her hair my house cat would flip out and run for her life when i did that!!
Haha 😂 I kept training her to get used to it since she was a baby! But I’ll admit she has her days where she isn’t feeling it and runs away.
i did own a ragdoll but what happened today was the worse days for us, since he been unwell and unfortunately had to put asleep, he was only 3 years old so still sad about it atm but nice watching videos about ragdolls, may get another one in a year time but time will see
I have two 11 weeks Ragdoll, male, kittens and they are not calm for too long.
Really? I brush mine everyday and her hair is still EVERYWHERE! In my nose; mouth, underwear,
LMAO 😂 I can admit that happens to me too, but it varies from season to season (Shedding season)!! Even if it isn't shedding season I do still see a lot of hair, but not as much. I just keep brushing and I live off of the chom chom roller for furniture.
We have 2. Both siblings. They love anyone that comes in the house included other animals. At15 weeks they melt into you when you hold them.
How sweet! Ragdolls truly are so much fun to have around! Thank you for watching ☺️
Thanks for this video, your video help me alot. I own a Ragdoll cat which is unusual breed in my country but I fell in love with my cat.
So happy my video helped 😃 I will be creating more soon, stay tuned. Enjoy your fur friend, Ragdolls are fun!
@@hananslens our fella stares at me to let me know he's ready for play.. He's only 2 so he's a bit bonkers really 😊
@@hananslens what's the purpose of the furminator if the cat still sheds. Confused.
I’ve always had two Ragdolls because they are very social and love company especially when I work. I believe they should always have a companion.
They’re super super social 🤗 mine won’t leave my side! Definitely thinking of getting her a companion soon
I've got a 25lb Ragdoll 4 years old he walks on a leash Hebrides on my shoulders he's a total cuddler
That is so cool ☺️ I love how chill this breed is, they’re up for anything.
my ragdoll is 10 year and they do samthingg know than wen they are small the only different is that they are more chill and less play full. ofcors you can still play with them.
Aww how cute ☺️ they have the best personality!!
Hi Hanan, I got a Ragdoll a few months ago & just love him (Jack)! My niece has a Ragdoll & got to see how wonderful Ragdolls are cause I was in the hospital & stayed with my sister (& niece) afterwards to recover & get rehab. I love ragdolls, but I've learned that I should adopt two cats from the shelter in Philly. It would be a small contribution but a needed one.
That’s such a great contribution 🙏🏼 I’m planning on my next cat to be adopted from the shelter. Good luck with everything 😊
@@hananslens And I admire your work with Rags; glad you understand that I don't expect to find one at the shelter, and I'm eager to adopt a rescue cat because Rags are an exception to the general rule of not supporting breeders.
I just bought a rag doll for my daughter they look really chill 😌
Aww congratulations 🎉 so much fun
The whole time I thought you named your cat Imaging....I was you're like a radiologist or something lol...they're so cute! I'm picking up my ragdoll kitten in 2 weeks, can't wait to have him in my life 🥰
Thank you Haha I can see that happening 😂 her name is a little hard. Aw how exciting, you’re going to have so much fun with your new kitty. Congrats 🎊
try switching to wet food, or even better try raw food
dry food is the worst for cats it will cause alot of diseases
and also, cats doesn’t need to shower at all, like once or twice a year is enough for them because they’re really clean and constantly clean their selves with their tongue all you have to do is brush them daily and if they smell use a wipe but try not to shower them often
last small tip is don’t put the collar on ur cat 24/7 it’s really uncomfortable for them, especially if there is a ring attached to it, it can damage their ears of the loud sound. and the collar can cause her hair around her neck to fall off
Thank you, I’m getting a cat soon and that will probably help.
@@baileynave22 glad it helped
@@baileynave22 if you want more tips i suggest that you watch jackson galaxy💓
Hey 🥰 I’m planning on learning how to do plan the food for her instead of dry food. The collar I barely ever use, it’s been over a year without one.
Mine likes some alone time once in awhile but does sleep with one eye open and always looking for me 🤣
To make life easy, you can groom your cat daily or have them shaved once in a while.
Great content. Love your cats. They’re adorable.
Aww this is amazing 🥰 Burmese kitty’s are beautiful!!! Enjoy your little baby they are so much fun! Thank you so much for the sweet message. Happy new year 🎊
Give one please 😭😭
My Ragdolls scratch so make sure they have. Scratch post. They also do pull out claws when they play but never intentionally hurt
Yes a scratch post is so important. I trained her to used it by giving her a treat every morning and night whenever she uses the post. It helps a lot! 😃
I love Rag Dolls. We have 7.
hi! i have a seal point 4 month old ragdoll, everyone says their ragdoll are so affectionate and will not leave u alone. mine likes us and plays A LOT but she doesn’t like to be cuddled, she’s not very expressive of her affection. the only time she’ll head bud is when i’m near her bowl of food 🙄 can someone tell me if they grow to be affectionate or will she be like that forever?
Great informative Video! Thank you! 🥰your Emmine? Is very cute so is Crissini. You should keep him! I Love Ragdolls. I thought you were supposed to always have two cats (with any cat really but especially Ragdolls since they are extremely social) when you have a Ragdoll as they can easily feel lonely and develop anxiety or depression when their owner is out of the house. Might be wrong but that’s what i‘ve found in my research, because i want a Ragdoll too.
What's the roller product you were talking about for your furniture ?
You didn't add the link.

Aww I definitely will 🥰
Can you leave food out for Ragdoll kitties and let them eat when they want, or do you have to have designated feeding times and then put the food away between feedings?
They should each have their own food and water dishes. It’s much better
Both So adorable Where is breeder located!
I want the one that has a slightly grey face and white body..is it just that colour by chance or is there a breed or ragdoll
Heyy the one I have is a mitted blue point Ragdoll 😊 there are also many other kinds of ragdoll patterns too
I got a ragdoll and he will be a year old in December, but I am having a hard time with him.
Omg you won’t believe if i say i have the exact pair... my baby boy is pure white with blue eyes and my girl is this nice blue point baby
Awe no way 😍 haha that’s so cute! Aren’t they just the cutest to be around?
I’m looking forward to getting one!
Aww very exciting ☺️
Are ragdoll cats messy eaters or messy with box where where they pool? Sorry for mine English I am from the Netherlands.
Hey 😄 my ragdoll is a neat eater. If she spills food she always picks it up
Do you trim the fur tufts in between their toe beans ?
I don’t, not sure if it’s something everyone does with there ragdoll. I actually think those hairs are adorable. I know some people worry about it being slippery on tile. But my kitty has been fine with it there.
Can u plzzzz recommend me a good shampoo and food for my ragdoll cat plzz 😭😭😩😊💕
Hey Steve 👋🏼 The shampoo is called “Chubbs bars” I usually buy it from there website. It’s a bar soap that I break into for even pieces, since the bar is pretty big. It really makes her fur shine 😊 I’ll attach the link to there site. The food I use for her is from “Royal Canin” they are great for Ragdolls 🥰

Can’t wait for you to have one one day 👏🏼
@@hananslens thank you for responding! Good to know! I wanted to be sure , glad to know that they can adapt to a schedule ☺️
Ooh la la! Your Ragdolls are gorgeous! Question: Did you notice who was softer? I hear Ragdolls have bunny soft fur. Would you say that’s true? ❤️
Thank you 😉💕 Omg the bunny soft fur is no lie 😍 I definitely noticed that Grissini was a tad softer than Imogene! But in general both are very soft and cuddly lol
I have a ragdoll and it's definitely true😂
yes, we are very very soft
Can I ask what brand of keebles you feed them? They seem to love it!
Hey there 🥰 I feed them the “Royal Canin” brand. It’s specific to certain breeds, they have one for ragdolls ☺️
She’s super sweet and answers quick 💕 you will love your Ragdoll from her 😄
i love your videos. im planning to get a kitten for the first time ever but im afraid i might get allergies. Do you have any suggestions?
Hey there ☺️ that is so much fun! You’re going to love having a cat at home. Something that may help in finding out is by going to a shelter and petting the kitties to see how you react to them. I hope that works 🤞🏼
@@hananslens Thank you. I actually got one kitten but gave her back. She kept asking for lot of attention and kept meowing. :(
