- In this epic Total War Warhammer multiplayer siege battle of Galbaraz, The Cloudtop Fortress, the Dwarfs of Clan Angrund and Karak Kadrin march on a Savage Orc Stronghold with Belegar Ironhammer and a Daemon Slayer at the helm, as Grimgor Ironhide and Wurrzag da Great Green Prophet lead their Greenskins in defense.
A crazy, epic siege battle of Galbaraz with Dwarfs vs. Greenskins, and unyielding carnage, I hope you enjoy it!

really like steel faith mod. its balance is made for much better battles where all units feel truly impactfull, even core units, and you see a far more enjoyable and less cheesy army comb and gameplay with them (pls, write SF or something in the name of the vid if it is steel faith, as not enough vids of it comes out and i prefer to watch SF than vanilla if i got the choice ^^ )

I actually like quicker battles and this has always been a desire for a large subset of players in previous Total War games. There's always an overhaul that makes changes there and I usually don't prefer it myself. But holy shit are they detailed and well-made. I plan on giving Steel Faith a shot sometime soon myself even though I've experienced the game extensively through other players' content. I probably will prefer Vanilla, but just want to say even though I don't prefer it, you've all done a fantastic job with these overhaul mods. They really are fantastic.

I think that was a bad death for the Daemon Slayer. I mean, he's killed a daemon but gets nixed by some grobi filth. Would be a grudgin' if he hadn't already taken the oath.
Still, there were some awesome shots in this battle, the spiderlings scuttling from under the greenskins on the bridge especially. Can't wait to see some Norsca battles. Hopefully, Steel Faith is updated quickly after release.

Hey IndyPride, could you maybe do a video about you talking about future legendary lords for Warhammer 1 and maybe Warhammer 2? Like Taurox, Ariel, Overhauled Boris Toddbringer and Red Duke, or any other lords you think would have and cool/great implementation into the game? About them and how you think they would be implemented into the game and such?

I love those Iron Drakes, but honestly can't think of anything more terrifying than wearing a suit of steel armor and then being sprayed by Napalm.

anyways i love how the dragonslayer died by the crimson killaz, since lore-wise they have to seek out dangerous enemies to fulfill their oath. a lucky dawi there.

The orcs have become possibly my favourite faction after installing SFO. Grimgor is an actual beast, Wurzag's spells are suitably insane, and the numerical force of the Greenskins is really enforced, with a lot of elite units from other races having their model count reduced. Really fun to play as.

In my experience Grimgor's just a li'l TOO strong.
Not for any fluff reasons just for the fact he can tank everything while dishing out absurd damage and it's a little unfun having to play around that monster of a Black Orc so much.
I dunno... I know Grimgor has been made bigger in the mod but he also seems a bit fat. I mean, is vanilla he´s already tall but here the most growth seems to have been horizontally which honestly I´m not a big fan of. I mean, there are examples of orc bosses in the lore who were just completely overweight and could barely move anymore because they were so fat but Grimgor is a black orc boss and that for values fighting over eating...
the only thing i dont like about sfo is that the grail guardians have like 700 hp lol and only 5 soldiers, plus alot of the units have weird sizes like 57,59,etc idk fuckin ocd
I know sometimes dumb mistakes are made to make the battles more interesting, but it was just so painful to see those Norgrimlings get needlessly overextended and wasted, and the trollhammers waste most of their ammo on infantry when an Araknorok was on the field.
They really need to up there game for sieges like making destructible parts of the map that can bring a new path but takes time destroy and can be defended
Am I the only who thinks it is unfair that the Empire, Dwarves, And probably Skaven only get like 1700s weaponry whilst the undead, orcs, Lizardfolk, High elves, wood elves, dark elves, Norsca, chaos gods, and Gor are just stuck with medieval arms??? Do reply
no. It's lore friendly, and not really unbalanced
These new custom maps, especially sieges, really beat the pants off CA sieges, they should be ashamed. Is there any indication that they are gonna revamp the old maps or at least the major settlements when they combine game 1 and 2? In my opinion they are keeping TW:W from being a really good game instead it now being just kind of a good game, in my eyes sieges are seriously like 1/4 of the fun for me in previous TW titles. Balance be damned when it sacrifices fun, having larger cities and more than 1 wall to defend will in time create its own balance and allow both literally and figuratively more space for tactics and strategy.Or at least, pay these modders to implement their maps with whatever bugfixes and AI pathing are needed which should have been in the main game in the first place. The new factions seem really fun, was always a fan of Lizardmen and Saurians, and stuff like the Doomwheel looks like a blast to control. I can only hope for a sprawling city of ziggurats, Lizardmen, and Aztec/Mayan architecture instead of a few clumps of buildings with everything nice in the background.
Now all we need is a follow-up video of Wurrzag and Grimgor fighting over who gets to keep the teef from the orks that died in this battle

Was playing a game where 5 bugmans rangers took three forest dragons with bolt thrower support in vanilla it was quite amazing

I've got a question for ya, or anyone in the comments who thinks they can help. do you think my computer with a gen 7 i5, gtx 1050, and 8gigs of ram could run Warhammer? according to the specs it should be able to, but I've read that this game can be skittle weird sometimes and run on stuff it shouldn't and not on stuff it should. thanks!
Yeah, it should run good on your PC. And don't be scared if you will have like 20 fps on 3v3 battles in this game when you zoom in a bit more or at the start if there is a lot of high density units, that is completely normal. You would need a total beast so those kind of battles would run on 30+ fps if that is even possible.
Like I got i5 of 5th generation, 1070 gtx and 16gb of Ram and it goes pretty good on mine.

I think most Total War TH-camrs didn't know anything about Warhammer before it was announced. I happened to learn a lot about it in the run up to game 1s release, but yeah before announcement I didn't know anything about it really. Thanks much appreciated :)

Remy there are some mods that add custom maps to campaign. I've tried them and generally they work well.
SFO is terrible for campaign turns into horde mode unless carried by AI

They did actually! I guess my camera work didnt catch as many as I should have, but Night goblin Shaman got almost 200 kills in 4 or so casts, that aint half bad
milkandcookiesTW The only time I think there might have been good damage was on the rangers, but honestly the slayers didn't really take any damage when that happened at all far as I can tell
what confuses me is that the music used is from medieval 2 total war battle music.
I just add in music post commentary sometimes

Chaos Dwarfs for sure I think. I said Tomb Kings in the other video, but some people believe they're gonna be a DLC for game 2, I dunno. People also suggested Ogre kingdoms and more Chaos, and maybe Kislev.

Wood Elves are really flavorful and a lot of fun, but I recommend using the Upkeep reduction submod, their start was way too slow and boring for me without it

Slayers should have way higher melee defence to acurately represent their fighting prowess.
Defense and staying power really aren't their forte though, they're glass cannons meant to hunt monsters and flank, and die faster than pretty much any other Dwarf unit. I believe they're quite a bit stronger in SFO compared to vanilla
Yeah thats one of the situations were lore and mechanics will not work together and seeing as it is a game I would prefer mechanics over lore . Hunting big monsters doesnt come to you if you arent a good fighter in general. the problem is that "being a good fighter" is both about being able to hit with his attacks and dodge incoming attacks (which is one neat stat in the tabletop)... seeing as we dont have a dodge stat here I think increasing the melee defense stat would be the way to go over flat out damage mitigation by key word (and armor is out of the question :D ). imho :)
I think thats a main problem with many of the expensive damage-dealer units ... they mostly melt before they are able to play to their advantages.(unmodded that is, and Krimson killaz being a prime example for that ... Ive never seen them perform well, unmodded)
Not all Slayers are on the same skill elvel or greatness though. Most slayers never even kill a monster, let alone survive very long. Whereas, you will see Dragonback Slayers
are very tough and have much better staying power than normal slayers units in SFO. We are also adding Giantslayers in the next content pack 3, and they will be a nice in-between slayer unit, that are lethal, but more tough than normal slayers - considerably more expensive and fewer in number though.

Yeah thankfully they have been ported to campaign as well, its just the AI doesnt always handle them super well

My 3 favorite factions are the High Elves, Lizardmen, and Skaven, and theyre all pretty interchangeable depending on the mood I'm in. Thats why I'm so excited for game 2, it has pretty much all of my favorite races in Warhammer. Skullcrushers of Khorne are my favorite Warhammer unit though

How about you ask nicely and not tell me what to do? And no, it isnt non lore friendly. I understand Warhammer lore quite well, considering its a big part of my job. Kind of silly to point at 1 or 2 units you dont personally like and suddenly declare that the entire mod is lore unfriendly, when it clearly goes much further than vanilla in replicating the power of elites, monsters, magic, and faction differentiation established by the lore
I mean I'm not an omniscient Warhammer lore god lol, I dont know everything there is to know about Warhammer, but yeah I have a pretty damn good idea of whether the game or a specific mod do justice to the lore. SFO definitely does, even if its not perfect ;P

I wont tell you what to do, but Blood Dragons on foot, Black Orc Biz unz are not Lore friendly what so ever.
This mod dont do justice to lore, or so, I would like to see how Bretonnia Inf is as powerfull as Empire in lore. I see more then 1 or 2 unlore fitting units.
And balanse of this mod is bad. Better then normal total war warhammer, but still not good. So faction are way to powerfull. WE are not glass canon, and they should be, for exmaple. And now ROR units, will make it more then stupid.
