- So guess what happens when you eat a whole bag of Swedish Fish? You get magically transported to Stockholm where we walk around the city center and catch the Changing of the Royal Guard ceremony at the Palace. Come along on my sugar rush to Sweden.

Even the Hotel All You Can Eat Breakfast can be sumptuous... Hopefully they have that in spite of the pandemic which Sweden did not take quite as seriously as other countries anyway.

@@ytcomms3945 Looking back, and even back then, the fact is Sweden absolutely did respond quite seriously. But there's been a lot of misinformation spread online about it, and from certain so-called politicians with bad fake tans. Truth is, Sweden's only problem is reporting a lot more honestly than other countries (who often faked better numbers than they had).

My daughter used to have to march in the parades for band because it was mandatory! She hated it! Can you imagine her doing it on a horse? She'd fall off!😂🤣😂
I think you were there during the long Ascension weekend. Ascension day is 26th of May, with many getting 25th or 27th off. Known as a “klämdag”. Many people go away for the longer weekends and the weather wasn’t the best as well. Old town/the entire city is usually packed with people a Saturday.

Interesting video, I had no idea the Swedish did all of that changing the guard stuff! I'm British, so they do it here fairly big time as I'm sure you know. (And by the way, what's the story of that Arsenal football club hat that you used to wear?). I once spent a few days in Malmo on business. It was some years ago, but I don't recall any hint of this kind of historical homage there. Now I see your video, I'm starting to think similar events may happen in Copenhagen and Amsterdam too, but again, I never encountered it. I'm pretty much a modernist. Enjoy your time in cold Northern Europe. One thing I do remember about Sweden is that they had some delicious cheese. I hope the sun finds you soon. I'll be tuning in to see more.

I noticed that the drummer's horse is a bit different from the rest, looks strong, like a farm horse. it's of the breed called Brabant or Belgian Draft.
Most of the others are "Swedish Warmbloods" and the white/grey ones are Altkladruber.

Oh my God Swedish fish so yummy
Here in Sweden we just call them fish... And they are also not the same at all. I think the american version is much chewier.
I got so sad when you said you went to an american burger place when it's like the worst hamburger chain in Stockholm.. there are so many nice smash burger places for example.
I tried a couple different burger places but eventually gave up and went to Sturehof and Östermalms saluhall to eat.
