+Aaron Reimer Yea, I was out there that day on the state park side (launched at Oasis) and when the wind hit I knew I was done for the day! taking some big rollers over the front of the boat and to top it off, my motor wouldn't crank! Eventually it started and it was a wet ride back!
At Joe Pool, red is always a good color. This past weekend I had good results with a gizzard shad pattern squarebill crankbait, a Texas rigged 6" redbug worm, a Texas rigged 6" Zoom lizard in tomato and really great results with a weightless MJ rigged 4" stick bait in watermelon red with a size 2 Colorado blade. Never fail to use your own confidence baits either. Good Luck!
Nice catch man we did good today on white bass 26 5 foot waves coming over the boat in the middle of the lake by the marina
+Aaron Reimer Thanks Aaron! Sounds like I made the right move by fishing on Saturday. Not a fan of big waves.
