Looking out the patio door at snow covered ground and 14 degrees....or watching a fishing video in warm August weather in Texas? You win! The creek did really good for you. Hope your 2022 season is a good one too. Best wishes, Don
Thanks Don! We're thawing out from a couple of days of ice here. I thought between naps with the pup in my lap, I'd start getting caught up on my video backlog. Definitely miss the warm weather. We're supposed to be in the 70s and 80s next week, crazy. Thanks for watching! I hope 2022 treats you very well too!! Take care, Matt
@@FishingTexan Matt, there's 3 pups on my lap this morning...can't get any better. We are tired of the snowstorms that rolled through every week this month. Occasional visits to the trout pond here in Jefferson City have broken chronic cabin fever symptoms 😢 😫 but March is right around the corner and fingers are crossed that cold water bass fishing will be good. Take good care of your Great Republic! Don
Hey have you been able to get into Walnut lately with the low water. I have not tried but curious since your boat is bigger than mine. Thanks for any feedback.
I was able to get into the creek on March 19. I think the water level is about the same as it was then. I did have to trim the big motor up at the entrance near the floating dock.
I'm pretty far behind on my videos and trying to get up to date with posting them. My last time at Pool was probably a month ago, I usually fish in the middle of the week now, and the water has been pretty low. I believe the largemouth spawn should get going in the next couple of weeks unless we get a massive rain. Lately I've been fly fishing on the Brazos River since the lake levels in the area have dropped. I'll be back out there soon and hopefully find some up shallow. Hope to see you out there!!
Great vid! Man seeing all these summer videos is helping me get through the cold and icy days we’ve been having here in DFW. Lol
