@@ANRDesignLLC Like you said in the video... it seems pretty fast for a 10mm. The glock, because of the long barrel definitely feels front heavy and while that may seem like a good idea, i feel something is lost in translation there. If it does and if i notice any benefit, I'll let you know when i get er done. lol
PSA - the FN has an unsupported chamber resulting in brass bulge. It’s worse than the Glock bulge. Reloading for the FN can result in case failure and blowout. I wish I know this before paying $1k for this gun. 😢 I spoke with FN regarding this concern. They said that they are aware of the issue, but aren’t doing anything to solve it. In their exact words, “the gun operates fine, you just can’t reload your brass.” I’m sure that a certain slop is attentional to aid in reliability, but this is excessive. I’m would watch this closely. It’s only a matter of time before some has a blowout and this is elevated to a legal issue. 🤷♂️

Great intro 😂😂 thanks for the new appendix rig by the way. Loooove it.. high point laaaaughing their ass off at FN right now tho 😅
I've had a fair amount of problems from pmc too. Not jams but no bangs.
some people hated the intro. People are NO fun, post C19
@@ANRDesignLLC to be fair.. They were mostly cunts BEFORE c19!
I wonder if cutting a single coil off of the spring will solve the feeding issue. I had a similar issue with the extended mags for my 509T and ended up cutting a coil off and rebending the end where it meats the follower. Never had another issue with it after that.
Wow. To anyone reading this, do NOT do this. Also, can you trust a guy who doesn't know the word "meets" isn't spelled "meats"?
interesting
How to ruin a magazine 🙄
@@TL8311-j6x yeah, I'm sure that you are perfect and never make any typographical errors. Slightly reducing or increasing spring tension is not a radical idea. I'm sure that you are probably God's gift to gunsmithing though so you probably know everything. It's not like there are a shitload companies the sell aftermarket springs with different lengths and levels of tension for a shitload of different firearms and firearm components or anything.
@@Highgear145 yeah, and anyone who has ever stretched out a spring also ruined their magazines. What is the exact amount of tension that a magazine spring needs? Do you trust any aftermarket mags? I also replaced the striker, striker spring when the factory striker broke. FN makes good firearms, but everyone makes mistakes and no firearm is perfect. If it is more reliable than it was before the modification how did I ruin it?
We all want it be be the fnx 10 tactical. Hammer fired and different from the other 10mm on the market.

Dope video!! I got to get one in my hands!!
You should!
Thanks for the quality vid!
No problem!
Keep shooting that gun let it break in and it will shoot anything. Mine did the same thing and now at 700 rounds it shoots awesome. I shoot it with my can on it and it feels & shoots awesome. But in all honesty I have many 10mm's and I have to say I like the Springfield Armory's the best. I have the FN 545 too and I love that gun even more then my 510. If u have a few bucks to spend definitely p/u the 545 u will love it.
yup!
My FNP45 had ftf’s for a bit too…. After leaving the mags loaded it went away after a little while…
this works too
I don’t see the 510 as an option for any of your holsters
quick ship > OWB > right hand and left hand OWB. Quick Ship > IWB > Appendix with claw RH or LH
Lets all agree for a sec, 22 rounds of 10MM is some hot Shizz lol
Definitely
Funny thing enough I’ve been asking for a 20 round magazine 10 mm handgun and they delivered. Hell I’ve been asking as well for a 18 round magazine for 45 ACP and FN delivered haha. Hopefully FN makes a aftermarket 20 round magazine for 45 for shits and giggles

@ANR Design LLC that's good but i heard this gun has reliability issues
Why am I not surprised you are a Glassjaw fan. Fuck yeah. 😂
lol
@ANR Design, do you have any plans to build out a SCAR SC PDW using the new SCAR 15P as the base platform?
nope. not crazy about a 7.5" 556
Seems like a really rough break in if it can’t even feed from a factory mag. Never had those issues with the 24rnd mag in my 509
pmc is powered like a 40 cal
Right… your firing pin just fell apart instead.
Own one, make a holster for it for an RMR footprint with a streamlight TLR-2 and ill be a buyer. Love this gun and the bigger flashlight/ laser combo keeps the muzzle even more flat. I've run a few different kinds of ammo, about 250 rounds total. Winchester white box, some s&b and some Hornady. Only one issue and that was a light primer strike on the white box in the forst 40 rounds I shout out of it. Hell if you want ill send you mine and you can use it for an example
Not seeing the holster on your site. I may be blind

had similar failures with the 503. fn's take some wear in out of the box im learning
agreed
I have the G40 MOS and just bought the FN 510 Tac. I prefer the FN.
same
@@ANRDesignLLC Like you said in the video... it seems pretty fast for a 10mm. The glock, because of the long barrel definitely feels front heavy and while that may seem like a good idea, i feel something is lost in translation there. I do have a Lone Wolf threaded barrel with Lone Wolf compensator on my Glock. The barrel is trash as i had to have a gunsmith do his best to "widen" and then polish the chamber.... never ideal. It jams about every 3rd or 4th round. I'm going to put the factory barrel back on the Glock and see if the compensator won't fit on the FN. If it does and if i notice any benefit, I'll let you know when i get er done. lol
Awesome Video, You Probably Need A Cool Intro & Outtro But You Nailed It.
Thanks for the tip
i have the G29 i want this now!

I noticed you only had problems with the extended magazine
It had issues with both, consistently. Somehow the extended only made the final cut. Nice observation.

We made one. Soon!
I'll wait for non-threaded barrel and low-profile sights.
We make AIWB holsters for it too!
Will you mke a duty holster for the 510?
nope
PSA - the FN has an unsupported chamber resulting in brass bulge. It’s worse than the Glock bulge. Reloading for the FN can result in case failure and blowout. I wish I know this before paying $1k for this gun. 😢
I spoke with FN regarding this concern. They said that they are aware of the issue, but aren’t doing anything to solve it. In their exact words, “the gun operates fine, you just can’t reload your brass.”
I’m sure that a certain slop is attentional to aid in reliability, but this is excessive. I’m would watch this closely. It’s only a matter of time before some has a blowout and this is elevated to a legal issue. 🤷♂️
whoa thats news
@@ANRDesignLLC I wish I had know prior to dropping money on the 510. The worse part is that I really like the gun. I just don’t have a use for a gun that I can’t reload for or trust with cheap ammo. Definitely keep an eye open. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time that someone will get hurt.
This is why I see the price dropping over $200 in the next six months or so. It's going to come back and bite them.
When I say that the FN 510 doesn't have a fully supported barrel people gets mad. Barsto Precision Machine says in May 2024 they will offer a fully supported barrel . Why in hell would FN do this crap, this gun is higher priced as compared to other 10mm, why it's not special.
@@organicmaterialsciencecorp6115

Disappointed that they used the 509 platform instead of the FNX. Could have been the most epic 10mm ever, then it wasn’t.
interesting thought
Wow. I finish my 509 Gucci build that has a 2 lb trigger pull... It was brutal getting it to that point and severely unreliable but working it through and changing the formula made it 100% reliable again. Time to start all over with 10mm after, I just got the Five-Seven Mark 3 🤦♂️
very nice, which trigger you installed in your 509?
@@OFCINC Apex trigger + mcarbo music wire spring.. the striker is the experimental part. Few worked with a heavy striker. Others factory striker... Me? Neither I had to go titanium.
