I’m noticing that “joyless Jokic” became a thing in the media since we won it, but I’m telling you that half of his demeanor is subtle message that he is not satisfied with only one.
It’s what some of the teammates have been saying about him, like Bones in the JJ Redick interview some months back, that he wants multiple championships. Celebrating too much now is going out of the mamba character, and that man has that mamba in him, he is just not showing it in traditional way.
Privately he is happy and will celebrate as soon as he get out of the US spotlight after he touches down in Serbia. You can see it in his eyes when Natalija or his brothers were celebrating with him on the court, those are the only times he let his guard down.

I think Shaq dominance can't be oversold. Jokic will get there but gotta win more than one chip. I know which one I prefer but Shaq has his whole career to compare to Jokic's just starting prime.

Joker top 1-10 start ever to career at 28 and under and already top6-7 Center career (top3 ever period start for 28 & under) with room to go up! On a per game basis Jokic def top4 ever in playoffs at center in prime with Wilt Hakeem Kareem.
Jokic is def in my personal top7 favorite players ever and top7 best I’ve seen live 5+ times (pacers season tix since 87 Reggie Miller’s rookie year so he’s one of my fav obviously)

I just want to keep it real. Is Jokic the best defender? No. Can you build a strong defense around him. Yes. Don't get me wrong. I love to praise Jokic, but him draining open 3 pointers vs them defending good as a team should be pointed out. I saw a video of thinking basketball and I'll be honest. That was my first time thinking "that's a beautiful defensive play".
