i could swear at least five times that the protoss had the game only to see the zerg making a comeback each and everytime. This game is insanely good.

The issue is that archons do not do any damage with their attacks against lurkers with dark swarm. Only splash damage will deal damage if any unit is close to them. Killer made sure the lurkers were spread far enough so archons cant do damage to them and psi storm is the only thing that can kill those lurkers. Shuttle did the right thing and not attack. He needed to retake 5 o clock and have it defended so that he can build reavers instead of building those zealots and high templars but thats easier said than done considering we get to see what the zerg has in a replay. For all he knew, shuttle could be thinking the zerg is just mining out and wont be able to contain him. Gg to killer. Im glad i dont see anyone complaining about how OP defilers are because high templars are also just as broken.

AI is a machine learning intelligence, with varying degrees of complexity, we have some but most are basic in terms of scope and often used for commercial data gathering and analysis.
VI is a virtual intelligence, incapable of learning and has to follow scripts, however advanced.
Almost all current games use VI but most people don't make the distinction.
Should have kept pushing north into the top far left bases with those archons and expanded to the south, much sooner. Really needed way more reavers and perhaps a couple scouts.
Just have shuttle type down “show me the money” and grab more resources right?
I am no expert but I think grew overconfident attacking at 11 o'clock but he didn't manage to expand. Killer on the other hand was trading unefficient but he had the income to support it
shuttle wasn't aggressive enough when he was in the triple digits and killer was in the double. idk why he hesitated to send the archons to deal with the lurkers he totally could've won if he did that.

Defilers are so good... I wonder how it would affect the balance if consume was taken out and the energy cost of plague/dark swarm was put on par with other spells like storm and irradiate.
I mean, Terrans won ASL 14 and 15. I'm not sure dark swarm needs fixing, exactly.

Probably your internet. Can you click on the gear icon on the bottom right and choose 1080 or 1440?
Another perfect example of how pathetic protoss is at dealing real damage.
Zerg was completely outplayed and under supply for the first half of the game, and several armies wasted later, the 9 base was still there, never stopped mining lol.
The reverse situation is a literal a-move win for zerg.
The moment protoss is no longer out playing zerg(even or more bases while having a spirit army), he auto loses.
If the Zerg player wanted to knock down the last Nexus of income faster, he could infect it with the Plague.
Why is plague dropping not really used? That seems like a great way to soften buildings.
@@PolkCountyWIProgressive probably depends on the skill level of the players. It might work for low level players like myself but higher level like these guys then the defilers are better used in battle or defensively. There’s a high chance the overlords are killed during the drop with the defilers in it and that’s a complete waste especially because it takes time for their energy to charge and if you consumed a few lings then that’s another sacrifice made unnecessarily. But then again this is just my opinion as to a reason why it’s not super viable.
@@PolkCountyWIProgressive , yep, I have also wondered why. Destroying enemy's infrastructure can really weaken them for a while as some technologies won't be available for them. Or else, infecting a few buildings at once can ruin enemy's economy, especially if the construction is tight. It also can cause supply block. The Plague attack isn't indicated by a sound or on the minimap.
