Spider Mines, Spider Mines, killing Hydras by the nines. We've got tanks, all around, merc(k?)ing you from the high ground. Look out! Here come the spider mines!
Thank you for the pin! XD
I think the charon boosters are a change to the missles fired by the goliath, not an actual change to the goliath. That's why we don't see it, it's some upgrade to the engine mechanism of the missle, which is not visible from the outside
Yes, exactly. Possibly a change to the fuel as well, given how different the exhaust looks.
This! "Charoon 'boosters'" its a propellant thing. Also why valk missiles do the same effect.
It's an efficiency burning fuel with targeting upgrades from United earth directorate
Hm made queens look so powerful. Love it!
That ling really just went "Look at me, I am the baneling."
What boggles my mind is why Mong never busted out any valkyries to handle the queens.
Not cheap to make em and they can be killed by diving scourges.
Wraiths or maybe even BCs would have been better than valks, but I think Science Vessels with irradiate were severely underutilized
@@sadgeman4589 the problem with mech is it uses a lot of gas. If the terran catches on to the zerg going queens though they really should switch into starport units.
@@Tiepo01, yes but the goliaths clearly weren't working to protect the tanks from the queens.
Goliaths were too busy with hydras to fight the queens
mechs, queens, burrowed zerglings explding vultures... what a game, deserves a like ^^
great game... amazing to see how different TVZ is when terran goes mech.
I feel like, that targeting the tanks was helpful but when you have 12 mutas with queens, you can just broodling the Goliath's, take out the tanks with mutas, then destroy everything with hydras. So many hydras died.
Red Zergs passive +20% to all stats made them OP, again!
The goliath upgrade is for the rockets, its a boost so they fly farther, you cant see it.
What an intense back and forth! Fal Pal and RJB always deliver. 💯
Great game! It's crazy how they didn't do much to each other for so long while both amassing bases and armies followed by both continuously clashing in skirmishes the rest of the game.
falcon has the oddest tangents ever
25:45 FINALLY it happened!
May not have had the chance to make any, but I'm still super happy to see it be done in a pro level game.
Here's one that actually uses infested terrans! th-cam.com/video/A6StIQe7yjk/w-d-xo.html
Queens vs mech on the thumbnail I was gonna watch it either way but this would make it even better :)
Weird how the hydras only had +1 carapace at the end. Seems crazy he didn't upgrade them more than that. But he knows. Also, I wonder why we didn't see more irradiate on the queens
There's no point doing armor upgrades vs mech terran. +1 or +3 your army Will get two shotted by sieges tanks/mines etc. Goliaths are there just to handle air and vultures is your filler army and they do extra damage to light units (lings/hydras)
The charon booster was an improvement in the propulsion of the missiles and an improvement in the targeting system to increase their range :)
It's quite important to be adaptive in a game and in life as well. The narrow-minded terran player kept trying to put out many tanks instead of getting focused on Valkyries to patrol corners.
23:02 - "Broodlings don't take up supply, right? They're temporary units?"
ALL units in SC are temporary, Falcon. 😄
The Charon boost was actually designed to counter guardians, without that upgrade terran ran into big trouble on island maps vs zerg. Was also a big deal for fighting carriers. Of course...most games in SC1 ended up being played on land maps so the upgrade isn't quite as big of a deal vs zerg.
It isn't an add on (charon boosters) United Earth Directorate efficiency to propulsion and targeting upgrades
This game is insanely amazing. So fun to watch
Infested terran drop would be insane.
Charon boost is an upgrade to the rocket fuel!! from regular stuff we used today, to the future tech prolly using quantum fusion or something cool like that and that's why the rockets make a bright white lightcloud that goes wooo wooo wooo
Edit: that is definetly not the right sound... maybe it should be tho
Nice Game! Nice Casting :) greetings from Bavaria
Greetings from the USA!
Fun queen game, would be fantastic if green sticcky to group of goliat.
It was shocking that the Zerg player won while mining and spending less resources :)
Hey what's the best spawn broodling or infestation cast do you have?
Is there any precedent for Terrans to switch to air weapons in a queen heavy game like this? Seems like a few valks hunting queens and overlords might have helped…
I've never seen a terran player fighting against zerg while being down in supply for so long. Usually when it happens, it's already the end.
А я уже подумал, что современные игроки разучились пользоваться Королевами...
I gatta wonder if nothing but goliaths, and vultures with continuous drops would counter zerg queens?
Queen is designed to block the Factory units
For some reason I find it satisfying to see Terran lose: they're too OP!
ill ask for that link to a mass goliath match with jaedong from wcs
Its funny the title says Mong is playing Protoss 😅
Why didn’t the terran used irradiate on queens?
Hm nearly lost the game because of lack of Overlords and ugprades .... thankfully his advantage was so large that he still prevailed
great game!!
24:59 the goliaths didnt die from the mine what??
Once again, irradiate is of vital importance against Zerg
Seems like it's hard to deploy SVs extensively without Marines to counter hydras/scourge
that Goliath counteract was badass, that was like the Secret Service in Olympus has Fallen in the WH, hahaha, SLICK!
Broodlings
why didnt the zerglings use their gun
Zerg did good with those queens but I'm still not a fan.
Percentage wise if you macro more and micro less, you win more of your games as zerg.
When you go queens, a lot of your APM is spent on moving them around to broodling something then flying away. A lot of players don't even bother to save the queens after the spawn broodling. So it is very inefficient use of minerals gas and APM.
I think Terran lost because his goliaths spent half the time stuck in his own simcity. Goliaths, along with dragoons, are terrible when it comes to pathfinding.
I think Terran players getting bored of winning with mech switch to bio... gotta make it more challenging... siege tanks are so OP... let's bring back 2002 Broodwar! 50 Siege Tanks and 14 BCs😂
I want to see less popular spells be used. Ex: infest, flare, illusion, and mind control
For the algorithm
no Overlords.....again? Hmmmmmm.......? 🤔🤔🤔 lol
better check your title falcon
If you know which race Falcon prefers, you already know who wins this match
Did you see this cast from yesterday? th-cam.com/video/-qIat-I8eu8/w-d-xo.html
should use marine , better than goliath, too expensive and weak
Thank you for the video. But please stop rewinding. Its shows how much of the match is remaining in the progress bar (which is kinda unwanted spoiler). And also it eliminates the feel of watching a live match. Suggest you instead mark the time when you want to rewind, and do it at the end of the video when the match is over. Thanks!
Zerg op

I think thats just called "bad". Theres no reason to give it a fancy term. If you do that, your story is bad.
What a good game, once it got going
