Nice keep the 4Runners simple guy it’s not a jeep i stuck to 33” 285/75/17 otherwise you start to mess with the geometry then you going to need beefier front axels but your choice more $$$
My wife has a 2011 xterra and it’s been an absolute tank. I hate to part with it but it’s time. Unfortunately, my wife could not get past the signifiant difference in throttle response with the 4Runner. My wife, who knows and cares very little about vehicles hated the 4Runner and now I’m stuck looking for pilot or pathfinder v6. Ugh. Good luck with yours!
@bigdoba317 sorry to hear. Yeah, my wife's Xterra is great! Has a lot more snot than my '01 XJ and it has the poor man's stroker under the hood. Good info to know about the 4Runner. We haven't test driven yet. Was that her only dislike? I'm worried about the size difference as the 4Runner is bigger
@@crazydingo8891 We liked the small third row option and the interior was an upgrade compared to her X. We liked the size overall and the look is classic. I own a ‘18 Tundra so I’m partial to Toyota. If you can get past the throttle difference and some small body roll, you can’t go wrong with the 4Runner. I researched dropping in a pedal commander and some people say it helps. Overall the truck is great and I appreciate the old-school reliability of the vehicle. Unfortunately when my wife decides she doesn’t like something, it’s game over. Good luck! Let me know what you end up with.
@@bigdoba317Pedal Commander makes a HUGE difference on these vehicles. It completely changes the throttle response. I had a rental 4Runner and it was unbearable to drive you had to floor it to get it to move at all. Research Pedal Commander on YT, it may make the difference for her choice of vehicle
awesome............. I bet that was a few pennies to do.
Love it 🥰

when you get my Titan feel free to do a nice vid for the other Titan drivers that might be considering some fun upgrades. :D
Nice! My wife has talked about a 4Runner when she gets rid of her Xterra...
