Another show would have pulled the punches slightly, made it so that Mark was not *that* hurt, but Mark is completely out of his league here, and him almost getting murdered shows there are way more powerful people and way worse threats than Mark is ready for.
Mostly because he’s a viltrumite so he’ll bounce back and quickly than normal mcs would have since normal MCs would have died on the spot from a hit like that
I always think a lot of people assume that the rock guy is evil.. But he's not. I mean he's not making the best decisions.. But he is going to try to use the criminal empire to make the city better.. he used Mark in the process which isn't good... But I think he's actually an auntie hero or a good guy.
The atmosphere would help Mark slow down the meteor, not make it more difficult. However, as it gets closer to Earth, the Earth's gravity would pull on it more and more, making it feel heavier.
40:44 This was always funny to me when they say this "You guys just messed up, indeed, big time", because this team is full of pussys or just people who like to talk big, but can't back up their words, because instead of attacking the one who really was a threat, and take revenge for there fallen heroes, they attack all the non-essential weaklings around, instead for the one responsible for the most damage, and they would all have perished if the Battle Beast hadn't changed his mind, because he doesn't want to kill weak creatures.
Once I heard the post-credits scene, my working theory is that Viltrumite cells do a better version of what normal muscle fibers do. That is to say, if they break, they regenerate stronger. But to do that, the tissues have to break first. So Omni-Man, being a knowledgeable Viltrumite, let Mark get beaten to the point of near death (presumably, since the doctors discovered that Viltrumite cells “don’t give a damn”, maybe Mark is potentially immortal) so that all of him would be able to regenerate even stronger and more durable. This reminds me of Doomsday, a Superman monster/ enemy, that, when it dies, becomes immune to the last thing that killed it.
Just to clarify they have said in the show that viltrumite blood is so pure and so strong that mark is basically full blooded viltrumite so he technically isn't half and half
In the Invincible Comics, he does very much better with the exception of Battle Beast, being the only one on Earth to actually injure him aside from his own father. Also, in the comic, Battle Beast uses a Sword, not a mace.
Battle beast is easily one of the best characters in the entire series. Not very complex as hes basically just a bloodlusted, zero chill goku who's whole motivation is basically "i wanna fight strong guys" but hes so cool about it all.
Finally the first reactors to know that Omni Man didn’t came down cause he couldn’t face battle beast and knew him, and that BB didn’t escaped but just quit cause it was too boring
i finished the comics back when it ended and absolutely adored it, but i'm not able to afford a prime subscription atm so videos like this are nice to watch to catch up on all the changes, keep it up!
Omni man would get absolutely destroyed by Battle Beast. Battle beast is the 2nd strongest character in this entire show. The only other character stronger than him should appear in season 4 or at least by the end of season 3
I don't think its so much him getting angry makes him stronger, tho it might, i think it's more he doesn't hold back when he gets angry. In an episode of justice league, superman while fighting Darkseid said, he feels like he lives in a world made of cardboard always having to hold back to not hurt or kill someone or destroy things. But with Darkseid he said he finally had a chance to cut look and stop holding back because Darkseid could take the hits. I think that's what's going on with Invincible, he's pulling his punches, till he gets extra mad.
One other thing if you all pay close and I mean close attention several background characters get reused like the little girl in the plane mark waves to
Like listening to his mom got him the first worst beating of his life. Then, denying his father got him the second first worst. Lol. If he had listened to his dad, this interaction with amber towards the end wouldn't have happened.
Gravity would be kicking in and sucking it down to earth, whereas in space you could simply nudge it out of the way and it would keep going that direction I’m pretty sure
@@LettsReactNah, gravity doesn't "kick in", the asteroid is already inside the gravity wells of both Earth and (more importantly) the Sun which is why it's moving so fast. Things don't float in space because there's "no gravity", they appear to float because they're constantly falling - objects in orbit are simply moving so fast laterally that the surface of the thing they're orbiting curves away from them at the same rate as the distance they fall down. When Mark is pushing against the Asteroid he's not bringing it to a standstill, he's adjusting it's velocity to match his such that they're both moving at the same speed orbiting Earth (both him and the rock are going insanely fast still, many km/s). But yes, making tiny adjustments to an orbiting body is much easier and much better the further out from the periapsis you are, so if he had time and the forewarning it would have been way easier for him to spend a few days flying deeper out into the solar system in order to change the asteroids course, rather than needing to bring it into a stable low earth orbit.
This is mark slowly learning he shouldn't listen to either parent. His mom's ideology almost got him killed, but Nolan was right you should make sure you know what you're getting into.
Battle Beast, scourge of the twin galaxies. One of the greatest/most powerful characters in the series. Omni-man would have gotten wrecked if he jumped in and tried to help Mark
I forget where I saw (it was some channel on here going through the lore of the comics) but I heard a theory of why Mark gets stronger when he gets mad; cause its not just a Viltrumite thing. The theory is because of his mixed physiology he has something other Viltrumites don't, adrenaline. So whenever he gets mad he actually gets way stronger and faster than most Viltrumites could ever be , he just can't control it fully yet.
I like how yall aint even acknowledged that he was literally used. Like Nolan warned him of. Like Mark almost died. "Very cool very coool" 😂 because titan used mark.
battle beast is canonicaly stronger than omniman so if nolan whent to help his son he would have died, i dont think nolan is aware of that but i am sure mark got away cos battle beast though he was to weak and boring to take precotion in killing him, on the other side omniman would have probably survived longer and interseted the beast inof to be killed
Comic Spoilers ahead, don't read if you don't want any spoilers: If Omni-Man and Battle Beast fought, they'd likely destroy the planet and Battle Beast would probably win.
I have to wonder how someone like Machine Head managed to hire someone like Battle Beast. Maybe Battle Beast really was that bored and had nothing else going on.
Fun fact: Rex Splode's explosion powers are from machines implanted in his wrists. They are not natural powers of his the way Eve and Mark's are. So a clone of Rex would not have his powers
@DLites151 he has gambit powers. But he wasn't born with them. He has little machines implanted in his wrists that give him the explosion ability. At least that's how it was in the comics and I've seen nothing to imply it's different here.
@@482Thegreetest he may may have machines for objects as projectiles to imbue with energy using his SUPER POWERS. Simple google search will tell you the answer mate. Just do it.
@DLites151 I just told you. The gambit powers are not natural powers. They are from machines implanted in his wrists by the government. So rex has powers because he had them implanted. The clone of rex will not have gambit powers because there will be no machines installed in it.

You guys were waiting for the newest Demon Slayer season to start dubbing to resume it.
Well, it's coming June 30th!
Yay!
i finished the comics back when it ended and absolutely adored it, but i'm not able to afford a prime subscription atm so videos like this are nice to watch to catch up on all the changes, keep it up!
Make way for the king!
3 months ain't worth putting someone you're dating in danger.
One other thing if you all pay close and I mean close attention several background characters get reused like the little girl in the plane mark waves to
What Mufasa doin
Making other people look into the light
Like listening to his mom got him the first worst beating of his life. Then, denying his father got him the second first worst. Lol. If he had listened to his dad, this interaction with amber towards the end wouldn't have happened.
11:58 I mean... That's usually the level that atoms are at 😅
11:35 lol what? It would be easier to stop once it hit the atmosphere because it would help in slowing the asteroid down.
But yes, making tiny adjustments to an orbiting body is much easier and much better the further out from the periapsis you are, so if he had time and the forewarning it would have been way easier for him to spend a few days flying deeper out into the solar system in order to change the asteroids course, rather than needing to bring it into a stable low earth orbit.
honestly first time ive seen people actually get that battle beast was just much much stronger than them and didnt leave out of cowardice 😂
This is mark slowly learning he shouldn't listen to either parent. His mom's ideology almost got him killed, but Nolan was right you should make sure you know what you're getting into.
This man is an absolute savage!
Battle Beast, scourge of the twin galaxies. One of the greatest/most powerful characters in the series. Omni-man would have gotten wrecked if he jumped in and tried to help Mark
49:52 Did they watch Justice League and Justice League Unlimited? I should check that out.
You cant tell someone your secret syperhero life 3months in. No way. Got to be with other supers.
Battle Beast just shows up as a random crook.
This was like putting Teen Titans against fu**ing Doomsday.
26:35 Wait, can we talk more about this??
I like how yall aint even acknowledged that he was literally used. Like Nolan warned him of. Like Mark almost died.
"Very cool very coool" 😂 because titan used mark.
Battlebeast is playing on easy mode
battle beast is canonicaly stronger than omniman so if nolan whent to help his son he would have died, i dont think nolan is aware of that but i am sure mark got away cos battle beast though he was to weak and boring to take precotion in killing him, on the other side omniman would have probably survived longer and interseted the beast inof to be killed
Titan didn't fool omni mam tho. That's why he told Mark to not go with him
18:38 yes take that in, if you can rearrange atoms you can alter reality…that’s who Rex cheated on
Its too bad they never watched Family Matters cause they are missing the Carl Winslow reference ❤
Comic Spoilers ahead, don't read if you don't want any spoilers:
If Omni-Man and Battle Beast fought, they'd likely destroy the planet and Battle Beast would probably win.
If Mark can heal fully from a beating by Battle Beast he's more Viltrumite than Human. Had Battle Beast killed a few Guardians as well? That's fine.
I have to wonder how someone like Machine Head managed to hire someone like Battle Beast. Maybe Battle Beast really was that bored and had nothing else going on.
You clearly don’t know how secret identities work lmao
11:58 I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner but I thought omni man said they couldn't breath yet there talking someone explain please
Oh yes battlebeast cant wait for hia story 😮 if ya know ya know
Also, atom eves powers are prolly the most op
Fun fact: Rex Splode's explosion powers are from machines implanted in his wrists. They are not natural powers of his the way Eve and Mark's are. So a clone of Rex would not have his powers
Pretty sure he's like gambit from X men. SO yes, he has powers.
@DLites151 he has gambit powers. But he wasn't born with them. He has little machines implanted in his wrists that give him the explosion ability. At least that's how it was in the comics and I've seen nothing to imply it's different here.
@@482Thegreetest if that were true, he wouldn’t have gambit powers would he?
@@482Thegreetest he may may have machines for objects as projectiles to imbue with energy using his SUPER POWERS. Simple google search will tell you the answer mate. Just do it.
@DLites151 I just told you. The gambit powers are not natural powers. They are from machines implanted in his wrists by the government. So rex has powers because he had them implanted. The clone of rex will not have gambit powers because there will be no machines installed in it.
Battle Beast kills Viltrumites for sport. He's one of the few beings that Viltrumites usually avoid. And for good reason 🤣
Atom Eve has a special it’s an origin story
The only part of this episode I will never understand is why, out of countless places, countless countries, even planets, Nolan decided to hide his old suit in his house, casually above a windowsill 🧐
