Hello from New Mexico! Your season starts as ours comes to an end at altitude. Good luck!

This year the penny bun is exploding in Uusimaa area! I literally found over 30 in an hour in our local exspoo forest.

@@gorilazzi Glad to hear you are having success! It has been fun so far! And even better when you find so many in your local woods :)

Did my first ever explore yesterday. Unfortunately, all I found was false ones.
Any tips or locations will be helpful.

That's so exciting! Welcome to the hobby 😊. Are you living in Finland? Here some of the best places for chanterelles are around the wild blueberry bushes

Hey, I'm new to this. Can you help me find a place to hunt for my first chanterelle around Tampere? I've never had one before, but I hear they're amazing. Maybe I should wait until after the next rain to go look for them.

Unfortunately I am not so familiar with Tampere. I would try joining the Finnish Mycological Society Facebook page and ask for a suggestion there. Also, going for a guided tour with an expert is one of the nicest ways to safely start the hobby :) Best of luck!
