Cat6a is only more difficult because its thinker and the wiring doesn't have the orange white, brown white, blue white, green white. Otherwise its a breeze. I would use cat6a in your walls for longer runs for sure. Thank you for watching!

If your modem/router has 2.5gig or 10gig LAN ports then yes. If they are 1gig LAN ports then Cat6a won't make a difference.
