Love that you do toy rotation but I understand and feel like you're still overwhelmed by the amount and self expectations. Please watch the recent videos by Paper town home, Ashley Embers, Minimal mom, etc. Minimalism is our best friend. 6 months ago I had a closet FULL for my one toddler. Now I have a 4 cube cubby rotation and 1 tote of items to rotate and my child and I are better for it. As for the dress up clothes my idea was adding them to one of the bins for a cube, maybe put away a cube of books for it or a toy spot?
@Emma_etc the experienced youtubers have some videos on that that help! :D Stuff like you don't have to keep everything to show you care for that person, kids grow out of things and it's better to a home that will use it etc. And if it's expensive I think they say same thing or offer if they'd like it bag or I'd they'd be okay if you donated to a friend that needs it now etc. People understand and once it's given its yours and if it brings yall stress now it's not worth it and they should care about you to understand. I pass down stuff to friends, family, neighbors etc and find good homes so I feel no guilt and enjoy helping. And if that doesn't work a white lie isn't bad of oh we do toy rotations so it's probably in the boxes somewhere for now. Their not gonna check or probably care at all ppl say too. Hope that helps?
This is a great idea! I need to do this every month! 😅
Love the idea of toy rotation for small spaces. 👏
Thank you!
Keeping all these tips in mind for when we have our new friend!
😎😎

I totally feel like we have too many toys. It’s definitely hard getting rid of toys given to my kids!
