Hi Diana - new sub here - I saw you over on the Dr Sam thread :) On Dr Sam's recommendation a few years ago I bought the Bioderma Sensibo and haven't looked back. I use it to remove eye make up. I have been looking for something to use around my eyes as they are dehydrated and crepy. I have been using Medik 8 Vit C eye oil and the Hado Labo eye cream then Elta MD tinted physical sunscreen but that combo pills :( If I just use the Elta MD it is too drying around my eyes - the zinc oxide I guess. I didn't get on with the Dr Sam untinted physical sunscreen it pilled pretty much every time I tried to use it - drove me crazy. Maybe the tinted version would be better but I'm hesitant to try it as I don't want to waste money on it if it pills like the other one. I did use the Dr Sam SPF combo before she launched the mineral one and that was fine but I do find I prefer physical SPF around my eyes which are sensitive and prone to eczema and allergy.
Hi and welcome to my channel. And yes Bioderma Senibio has been a staple for me for more than 10 years. It is so popular in France and for good reasons.
I made a review on my channel on both Dr Sam's suncreens. I also had peeling issues with the mineral one but find techniques to minimize that and shared the tip on the video. I still like it because it makes my makeup still look great in the summer although I have oily skin. As for using suncreen around my eyes I never do that because as you said it is so uncomfortable and I also have very sensitive eyes. And if I have to choose between my eyes or skin with no hesitation I choose my eyes lol. For that reason also I have worn sunglasses on a regular basis even in the winter. That's the best protection for me for the eyes and the skin around it.
