New bypass from Ayer Itam to Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong EU
It is expected to cut travelling time for 40 minutes to 5 minutes during peak hours and it is toll free
This bypass total length of 5.7km
Total distance 5.7km
Grade 2.4km
Elevated 3.3km
This new bypass consist of 4 interchanges comprise Jalan Thean Teik, Jalan Bukit Gambir, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong EU

We need more of this type of expressway, PLUS the MRT systems in order to alleviate the traffic conditions. Those who live in southern area can avoid driving to the CBD. No doubt this new road systems will definitely help to reduce the traffic at Jalan Greenlane.
Wish the construction team Safe Work, prevent land slide a priorirty🙏.

This originally supposed to be an elevated highway to reduce the impact on the environment & prevent cutting down so much of the jungle. The slopes there are more than 45° in some places & filled with loose boulders which can be dislodged & endanger the residents staying at the foothill. We, the residents around the project, will also be losing our greeneries & hiking place in place of more concrete in our backyard.
The work will take 4 years to complete. We have to deal with noise & dust pollution everyday. The state government should look into the welfare & maybe assessment tax exemption for the duration of the whole project.

u so bothered about enviroment start by reducing old cars which causing more pollution in Malaysia. Start from step 1 dont straight jump to step 100.

Betul2 kat lereng bukit yg dikelilingi apartment mewah. Bahayanye. Ni klu tanah bukit tu melembik sbb trdedah pd air hujan yg byk n agak lama, tanah lereng tu boleh melemah. Tringat sy dgn tragedi Highland Towers KL thn 90an dulu.

Any plan at Relau, Sg Ara, Bayan Baru area, there have the worst traffic now! Someone approved so many high rise condo to be built up there, but totally no any traffic planning and road expansion!

and the congested wil become worst when to squeeze lane to LCE hihway near 1st bridge interchange. plus to change from left lane to right lane to Bworth. clash with user from right lane wanna take left side straight to B.lepas.
When are they going to have a direct connection from the 2nd bridge to the air port terminal building? Shouldn't this project also be a priority project?
They have installed traffic light for vehicle exiting airport towards Jln Tun Dr. Awang.
Once it operates, will see how effective, hope enough prior publicity will be made, as this area has been all along a smooth UTurn for vehicles along Jln TDA from the north.
Dekatnya dengan kondo2 tepi tu. Kalau saya residen situ mmg malam2 tak tido la esp 2 3 hari ni Penang asek hujan je. Semoga semuanya selamat. Residen2 pun sure sedih hilang sudah view hutan damai hijau ganti dgn view jalan kereta lalu lalang. Bising lagi..
