Nice work Woody. Would you smooth the rubber cutout with some sandpaper? A light effort with 400 grit and 800 grit would tidy it up. You are very talented and the jig that you built was an excellent way to approach the repair.
Template is not really big deal for this you can use any flat surface. About the crescent cut buy a rubber cam wheel to this seller in Ebay "sallyjeffries". You can use their instruction manual for the crescent cut. I'm too far from you I'm from Philippines and shipping is very expensive and I never tried to ship international.
