    Very thankful I'm gifted with numbers and have some previous work experience on VMs and networking. The toughest stuff for me in this exam is the gargantuan amounts of memorising random Cisco products.

    A few quick corrections.
    1. HTTP uses TCP port 80
    2. DNS uses both TCP and UDP port 53. DNS usually uses TCP when the packet size is too large for UDP to fit it into a single packet.
    3. DHCP uses UDP port 67 and 68. 67 for DHCP servers and 68 for DHCP clients.

    There ARE 8 levels, however, including 0, *the levels are NOT 0-8.*
    The Syslog severity levels are *0-7.*

    Passing the CCNA test is when you study hard, if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Riq

      I've always believed CISCO exam is not for all but studying, you need God's grace especially for we foreigners

    afternoon folks, has anyone recently done the CCNA 200-301 exam? re Types of questions, some said they removed simlet, some don't which one is true?

    Just failed hard on the CCNA. Got 2 subnetting questions and 0 labs. Better luck next time

      Just a ton of practice tests. In depth subnetting knowledge is 100% needed.
      “Hard” is kind of subjective, but compared to more entry level certifications it expects you to have a deeper understanding of the test subjects.
