OMG! I can't believe I played all the way through this game... TWICE(!!!) and never knew there was more signs could do! I thought they just were like labels if you wanted to call them out. So instead of defining an area for each bot to do something like dig, plant, harvest, etc. with all of them working in the same area, I can just assign them to a sign! And then, if I need to move the destination (like moving a grove of berries) I just move the sign? THAT"S FANTASTIC! DANG I wish I had known that sooner!!! Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!!
@@TheZanzibarMan I think it literally should tell you where you also edit that sign that you need a blueprint operation and assign its zone to the building. I specifically looked up the wiki to see if it had any example. But nope xD That is what I did not realise. Dunno not so far into the game but a statemachine would have been cool unless there is and I did not notice yet

In all fairness the game doesn't tell you all the cool stuff you can do lol
This really helped. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
I think moving sign for works like construction or cleaning is more logical then moving effective area.
I've used both, they both have pros and cons.
I just looked up this video for signs because I think it is rather cryptic ingame
Cryptic is one way to think about it, but I do like the idea of experimenting and figuring these things out.

How do you highlight and move multiple bot commands in the list when editing?
Press square on a line to highlight, hold X to pick up the highlighted commands.
