1:10 reminds me of a force sensitive guy that Darth Maul encountered in a canon comic. The guy was force sensitive to the point Maul could sense the force rushing/flowing through his body, but this guy was fully unaware, he was such a capable fighter, he was able to dodge blaster shots effortlessly and shoot on point, if he was discovered by the jedi, i seriously think that he would be a powerful jedi.
Im pretty sure Han Solo falls intonthis category as well.

You should do a video comparing the clones and the soldiers of the old republic.
The the lesson of the jedi to me is that bureaucracy killed their situational awareness and emotional intuition. They needed to unlearn what they have learned & act on instinct
The Jedi serve as "the gaurdians of peace and justice" so they say on paper yes it acts as a way to maintain/control and guide force sensitivities on a strick path and pledge to help others

Everyday life for normal beings is foreign to them. Give 'em a week on the outside and they're making a tearful holocall to Yoda asking if somebody can come pick them up.

He left out a lot of things and got a lot of stuff wrong. 25,000 years before the movies the Kwa went around and taught different species the Force until they taught the wrong species - the Rakatans. To try and protect as many Force Sensitives as possible they sent Tho Yors (basically Arks) to every planet that had a sentient population with Force Sensitives among them who would be called to and board the Tho Yors willingly, which would then transport them to Tython where they would form the Je'daii Order. The part about it being a golden era of Force Research was true and accurate at least. Much later the Rakatan Infinitie Empire would discover Tython and try to Conquer it and the Je'daii were forced to delve into the Dark Side to fight them back (fight fire with fire as it were) and after the war some Je'daii continued practicing the Dark Side incase another threat like the Rakatans would appear but then over time they would become that very threat. The Je'daii Order split into the Jedi and Dark Jedi and another war occurred when the Dark Jedi tried conquering Tython, and were eventually defeated and the survivors exiled. Those exiled Dark Jedi would become the first Lords of the Sith when they found and landed on Korriban. A good while later the Republic would make first contact with the Jedi and form an alliance.
Always wondered how it was made. Could do a video on the most corrupt politicians in Star was and their effect on the galaxy.
That was episode 1-3.
The Kwa collected Force Sensitives around the galaxy and put them all on Tython to keep them away from the Rakatans. Those Force Sensitive formed the Je'daii Order that later became the Jedi Order before the Republic encountered and allied with them.

Always thought they're peacekeepers.
They started as a religious order called the Je'daii, had to fight an evil empire of Dark Siders and they had to use the Dark Side to do it, after the war some of them continued to study the Dark Side, eventually civil war happened when the Dark Siders tried taking over by force.
I do like how they went from owning entire star systems to renting a few floors of a temple on a single planet.
Own a Saber looks really nice, the Moonlight is hilariously awesome, however they lack the kind of lightsaber I truly want: a curved-hilt similar to what Darth Bane and Darth Tyrannus used.
Ventriss also had curved sabers.
As a fencer, I've always loved curved sabers, and they made Dooku use one because uses a clasical dueling style while fighting. Its all just so awesome!

Why do they use lightsabers though? I know it looks cool and can be pretty handy when it comes to deflecting small arms fire and cut through walls. But surely as galactic peacekeepers and special forces, the Jedi should have been kitted out with more armaments.
He left out a large chunk of information (and got a lot wrong). Before there were Sith or Dark Jedi there was the Rakatan Infinitie Empire, who were absolutely evil Dark Siders. They created weapons called Force Sabers that required the Dark Side to wield. They eventually found Tython, the homeworld of the Je'daii Order, and their scout/infiltrator they had sent ahead introduced the Je'daii to the Force Saber, which they would eventually mass produce to use against the Rakatans. But using the Force Sabers meant drawing on the Dark Side so the Je'daii had to start delving into the Dark Side to fight off the Rakatans. After the war, most of the Je'daii would try to return to normality - going back to focusing on balance instead of Darkness - but some would continue practicing the Dark Side to prepare for another threat like the Rakatans. Eventually the Je'daii would split into Jedi and Dark Jedi and the Force Sabers were reverse engineered into Lightsabers so you didn't need to constantly brush with the Dark Side to use them. Eventually a civil war occurred when the Dark Jedi tried to take over the Order by force.
Prior to that they used blasters and special katana-like swords imbued with the Force, which couldn't stand up to Force Sabers.
Jedi knights are KNIGHTS, warriors who are trained to kill people with swords. They also fight against dark jedi and sith who primarily use lightsabers as their main battlefield weapon, and lightsabers are good at deflection of blaster bolts. blasters are used by everyone else in the galaxy.
They once were. In the Old Republic era, they had shield generators and advanced armor suits.

There were Sith before Jedi, the Sith were a species who had their name stolen from them by dark side users to be used as a title, the Sith have been extinct for over a millennia, there are no true Sith anymore, only dark side users who call themselves Sith.

That's not what happened. It would be more accurate to say the Je'daii Order was indirectly created after its original members were hidden away from an evil empire that would have subjugated them.

As much as I love the Jedi, I keep giving them grief over the fact that unlike my favorite characters the clone troopers, they got to survive and continue as many generations. Now realizing that they are indeed still a minority and most likely would be manipulated and used by governments as weapons of war, I feel more sympathetic to them. The clones are still my favorite characters and I'll always see them as being different from humans for better or worse, the Jedi just became way more tragic than they were before in my eyes. Now I support the Jedi Order not just because they are associated with clone troopers, but because they are basically a force-sensitive rights group. Not only do they protect the galaxy from the Sith, they also have to protect force-sensitives from the galaxy. Sure, citizens of the galaxy can't be criticized for blaming the Jedi for the Clone Wars since the Jedi were military generals in the war, but now most of the citizens of the Republic, Separatists, and Empire just became a little more bigoted in my eyes given how most of them seemed to have no issue with not just killing children, but also wiping out all force-sensitives just because of a coup attempt, an attempt that was never proven to be more than plotting done by the council. After all it was only council members who attacked Palpatine, not Jedi knights or padawans. Of course Palpatine probably made sure to omit that from his testimony of how the Jedi tried to murder him. Now I wonder what was Dooku's thoughts on force-sensitives.

George Lucas made up the Jedi, Sith, and the galaxy in question so the “propaganda”can’t be considered from him.
Although not perfect, he literally made them the “good guys” in a story meant to be experienced by children.

If the Jedi really wanted to expand their numbers, they should have encouraged reproducing and starting families among themselves instead of embracing celebacy and kidnapping other people's force sensitive kids.
They didn't want to create dynasties of Force-sensitives. It felt too much like creating a ruling dynasty, and of forcing the will of the Force by concentrating the Force in certain families. In short, it's the kind of thing the Sith would do.
Probably one of the more tolerable religious cults I suppose
