This is one of those movies u just have to turn ur brain off for. Rule of cool trumps everything else. The fact that the punisher can take out 2 soldiers and run over to fury while already surrounded and not get shot makes no sense. But it’s cool. So I’m cool with it lol.
Anime rules , it isn’t going to make sense to analyze everything with anime , because a lot of things are done for the sake of looking cool, or progressing the story.

If I remember correctly, Russia tried to make their own super soldier program. In this case, she is not as strong as Captain America, but she makes up for it in agility and speed. Not saying is as strong as a normal human, she is stronger than a normal human but doesn’t match the strength of Captain America since the Russian couldn’t figure out the serum used on him so they had to work with what they had.

I got this randomly suggested on the main page and I only watch random Anime clips. 😂 I love this animation style is this the same as that Anime XMen where they have Wolverine the same height of Jackman and not the 5 foot version. I love that Anime X-Men movie and Punisher is my Top3 favorite Marvek character and he looks badass here.

Saw this movie when I was in 9th grade and absolutely went bananas seeing black widow and I drew her while watching this exact movie, copying her everychance I got when she popped on screen, I had no phone, no wifi, just good ol TV, couldnt record either. Good times.🤧
How is this still up after all these years? I really love this art style and animation. I think it fits the characters really well. I also remember liking the X-men series. Wasn't the best but I also loved the art and animation. I thought Wolverine looked really sick in that. Man, I wish Marvel continued working with anime studios. Maybe adapt more established popular story-lines? I think a Spider-man anime could go hard in today's level of anime production. Provided they hire the right studio and director.
