That is a gorgeous edition of The Seven Year Slip! That was a great book for me!
The Nightingale still scares me. 😂
It’s so good!!
Has been on my to be read list for so long, terrified to read it!
They turned All the Light We Cannot See into a series on Netflix. I really liked it if you don’t think you can read the book.
Hands down, The Women by Kristin Hannah has been my fave and I usually don't read historical fiction.
I hope you're able to get to all the books you are dying to read this year! My best one so far this year is Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy. Utterly obsessed and can't stop thinking about it
Try The Kindred's Curse Saga by Penn Cole. Its the best fantasy series I've ever read... Slow burn romance, non stop action happening.
I was eyeing up that edition of Seven Year Slip and glad you showed up - SO PRETTY!
I can totally relate to the intros 😂 I feel like it’s the hardest part besides trying to remember my thoughts about books.
The nightingale is one of my all time favorite books! ❤
It is so beautifully heartbreaking. I love it.
A book that really impacted my grieving last year was one true loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’m newer here so idk if you’ve read it but I wanted to put this out there for you
My favorite book of 2024 is Fourth Wing! It was a five star book for me along with Iron Flame. I can’t wait for January 2025 when the next book in the series comes out!
So many goodies in this video! Best book of 2024 for me... that's so tough! Probably Ruthless Vows. I didn't really like Divine Rivals (so many people compared it to Fourth Wing, which it is NOT like at all) but I wanted to read the second regardless to see what happens, and it was such a beautiful book, I'm so glad I picked it up. It's a very light on the fantasy side of things, but the romance is very sweet - I think they might be YA, but I'm not 100% on that! If you haven't read them and are still wanting to dip your toes into the fantasy genre a bit, it might be worth it!!
I've been binge watching mid year book tags and I loved your video Delaney 💌 I just uploaded one too! Some of the books I'm really looking forward to read are definitely the seven year slip and the nightingale 💙
I also can't wait to read play along! and I'm also newer to fantasy and the once upon a broken heart series was the one that really got me into it, so maybe you can try that one or divine rivals since it's not a lot of world building in both of them! :)
I just stopped the video and subscribed after hearing about your grief. My mom passed away unexpectedly 9/7/23 and the waves do come. Onto my favorite author Kristin Hannah…. Please read The Four Winds and The Great Alone 💗
Sending you a huge hug. I can only imagine that pain. I’m so sorry. 🩷
100% agree on Play Along!
That’s a tough question but I think my favorite book so far has been Just For The Summer
The Hunger games prequel is my best so far, and an easy read called the Library cos I was out of hospital and not concentrate so nothing complex or heavy, great wrap up thanks
The best book I have read so far this year is Royal Assassin from Robin Hobb’s Farseer trilogy.
If you want to continue in the historical fiction, Salt to the Sea and Between Shades of Gray were both sad. I love them ❤❤ Ruta Sepetys
June first by Jennifer Hartmann is my favorite of the year!
My favorite book so far is The Women by Kristin Hannah- you must read that one!!
Boys of tommen wrecked me!! Sooo worth it!
We were the lucky ones will rip your heart out 😭😭 but It’s so good!
Bought all 3 of the Housemaid series when they went on sale. I just got the 3rd one in the mail today but I'm waiting to start the first book so I can wait to read the 3rd till July for the book club otherwise I know I'll end up reading it early. Also can't wait for Reckless next month!
Yay!! So excited for Housemaid3 next month!!
Funny Story!
Not sure why I feel the need to help with this, but Abby Jimenez last name is pronounced (he-MEN-ez) emphasis on the “men” 😅
Ah! Okay I will keep trying! thank you!!
I am from Vietnam, I would really like you visit and work like as an English teacher in my country. How about this idea buddy
