I love seeing n adhd reader cause I have adhd and I don’t see it lot I’ve been here since the start and you got me into reading so glad your posting again the best booktuber everrr ❤❤❤
I hope you don’t let weird comments stop you from enjoying all of these books. Just because they’re popular books, doesn’t mean they’re not amazing and you shouldn’t get a chance to soak up the worlds of these books! Happy reading, I’m obsessed with you and your channel 🫶🏻
alright *cracks knuckles* - best book you've read so far this year? Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas and Annie Bot by Sierra Greer (two very different books ik 😭). HoF because two of my favorite characters are introduced and there is soooooo much plot development in that book and Annie Bot because it was. It was just a lot. I read it in less than a day. You just have to read it to understand! - best sequel you've read so far this year? Blade Breaker by Victoria Aveyard. The sheer audacity of that cliffhanger was RIDICULOUS I am so glad I had the third and final book in that series or I would've cried :') - new release you haven't read yet, but want to? Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth! It's my book of the month from months ago but I just haven't been in the mood for thrillers lately :/ I blame TOG - most anticipated release for the second half of the year? This sounds awful but there aren't really any that stick out 😭 There's not any new books that I've heard of coming out this year that I've been super pumped about - biggest surprise: Bad and Good? Bad: The Fox Wife Yangsze Choo :/ idk I thought I was going to be reading a different story than what I got so it just did not hit for me. Still a solid book though! Good: ACOTAR by Sarah J. Maas. The amount of hype this book and series has made me VERY nervous that I wasn't going to enjoy it (even though I loved TOG) and I was very relieved that I loved the "slower" first book! About 40% through ACOMF and I'm enjoying it very much still! - favorite new author? (debut or new to you) Sarah J. Maas. I read the entire TOG series in like. A month and a half. I'm in the middle of ACOTAR and I plan on reading CC either later this year or next year. She. Has. Me. Hooked. - newest fictional crush? The Cadre in the TOG series (specifically Fenrys my LOVE ugh) - a book that made you cry? Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I have no words to describe the pain that book gave me. - a book that made you happy? Love Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood! Seeing the cover itself on my bookshelf makes me giddy ughhhh - most beautiful book you've bought (or received) so far this year? Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll 🤌🏻 - what books do you need to read by the end of the year? The rest of ACOTAR (duh), Babel by R.F. Kuang, The Secret History by Donna Tartt, and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (and my entire physical TBR cart in general but those are the BIG ones i wanna get to
You HAVE to make a reading vlog for Throne of Glass!!!! Omg! Trust me, once you get through the first book you’ll be hooked like the ACOTAR series! I like TOG slightly more than ACOTAR and I LOVED both so that’s saying something.
I was definitely more into acotar from the start. Throne of Glass was a slow start for me. I felt like I was dragging through ToG (1) and Crown of Midnight (2), but things are starting to pick up for me finally while reading Heir of Fire (3). But I know people are super obsessed with the series by the end of it, so I'm ready to get to that level of obsession lol
@@samarycastro that makes sense. Acotar was my first, and it was the series that got me back into reading as an adult, so it’s got a special place for me. But it does seem like whichever SJM series people read first is the one that ends up being their favorite

You just talked me into ordering Done & Dusted. As someone else with adhd, the excerpt you read was me in a nutshell. I have to mention the book that surprised me that I read. Stone Blind - omg it changed my world. It's outside of your usual, but if it at all appeals to you, please read it. I feel it is important for women.
