I wish there was a map where highway trucks would be relevant. Long freeway stretch on asphalt where you could then exchange trailers to an offroad truck to go further.
@@thibautmerlin2376 I've had a blast with my friend in co-op on Alaska. He would go off-road to bring me cargo while I waited on roads with the Transtar.
I wish there were a paving mechanic where you can pay to permanently change a roads status maybe in 25m stretches at a time. To balance the cost there should be a system of random contracts where you have 25 or so named locations per map each of which has a list of materials that can be sent or received for contracts. Each cargo item has a delivery value multiplied by distance. Infinite random contracts. You could get dump truck attachments or trailers that you could use to pick up aggregates and spread them on muddy sections then go over with a steamroller to make them more solid gravel roads. Multiple loads may be needed for really bad sections. You could also buy logs to lay down as a quick, dirty, cheap fix like the log sections in some maps. Wooden planks would be a bit more expensive but give better ride quality, but they'd have hit points and take damage if you drive over them in heavier trucks, eventually breaking and reverting to the former road status. Wooden bridges would also collapse under heavier trucks. You could also use concrete slabs to do a quick fix like the section outside the drowned lands garage, but they're somewhat expensive. Metal would be the most expensive and would take the form of metal grates like you see when they do road work, and would be indestructible, but could not be curved, so don't give an even ride on slopes. Finally 2 options to properly pave roads and finally get use of highway trucks and tires. First is concrete, which requires you get a concrete mixer and deliver wood planks for forms. It would be moderately expensive. For asphalt you also need to lay down gravel and use a grading machine & roller to level off the gravel before hand. Then you need to spread down the asphalt and go over it with a roller. The materials will be fairly cheap, but you need to buy all the equipment first and it's labor intensive as you have to do the paving manually, where as laying down concrete slabs or metal/wood just requires getting the stuff to the section of road. Concrete or asphalt paved roads give the smoothest ride quality though. You could also get one of those asphalt scraper things that rip up the top surface and lay down new asphalt on top so you can drive at top speed without constantly taking damage. Concrete slabs could be laid down under deeper water and logs under shallow water, otherwise a wood or steel bridge has to be built of sections of road under water. It would be awesome to be able to slowly transform the maps from muddy wastelands to maps you could easily traverse in any vehicle on perfectly paved roads. It should take time and effort to pull that off though.
Try no upgrades and American trucks only thats my hard mode. As i am on my 4th play through now. In my opinion and only my opinion the no upgrade option and American trucks only has proven to be a time consuming monster that only makes the task longer but is far from impossible. Which i am slowly over coming and learning that i don't need the easy mode trucks to accomplish the same results.
I just finished all Michigan contracts using only free trucks, free upgrades, and purchasing two sets of tires. I wouldn't want to go back and not upgrade the vehicles though...it would just turn into using the P16 the whole time when the rest of the trucks are only fitted with highway tires.
The Derry Longhorn has been improved since this video. It still has a poor turn radius, but that unpowered axel that used to get stuck on everything can now be raised or lowered to suit the situation, and it now has diff lock always on. I actually enjoy using it for certain tasks, though it's still not the best. It's much better than it was.
I was thinking that it was better than the video was saying, and then I saw its release date. Nice to know that the devs at least made some improvements over the last 3 years. It shows they care.
The fucking rocks in this game, jesus. Not talking about the offroad portions, talking about on the paved roads, like where you "clear" the area of a fallen power line tower, but then the boulders and loose rocks remain, and you get stuck on a PAVED road cuz a tiny rock is stuck under your front axle and you can't move. So fucking annoying and unrealistic. And the most annoying thing in the entire game, TREE STUMPS! Most of them are hidden and so small yet will get stuck underneath your truck making you float and no matter how much winch tugging crane lifting you do that thing is glued to it. And they're always in the worst spots. Looks like you can take a shortcut out of a logging area, area looks like an open field with some low brush. Try to leave, front axle magically rests on a hidden tree stump, spend 2 hours trying to get off of it.
@@beezyj3227 ik this comment is a year old but theres a mod that removes all the small/medium/larger rocks and its made the game way more enjoyable. I wish i could manually clear it cause it feels like cheating but im just way happier lol
I actually love the AZOV 73210, it's one of my faves... Hauled a semi fuel trailer into Rift with it and lugged it through the map (just to have an easier accessed fueling spot deep in the map)
@@fin57 It's also shown with a crane in every goddamn picture so people should understand that crane jobs is it's purpose. I use it as a crane also and it's great
Some of these have been buffed since this video came out. The Derry now has diff lock on the live version and its mid axle can be lifted on PTS for update 7.0. The Kolob and 10x10 still have poor clearance, but the front ends seem to not get caught hard on the ground as much.
7:04 there is one thing that is a bit dumb in game. LO4F is a VAN, it has enough room to put 2x or even 3x item of roof rack, why leave the body empty to put all stuff on roof top to make it top heavy?
@@vladvulcan Not only LO4F, we can say except 3 trucks, Loadstar 1070, Chevroaet C/K 1500 and Hummar H2, others like TUZ 166, DON 71, Khan 39, Yar 87, Scout 800, they all leave their body empty then put a heavy hat. TUZ 420 don't have top heavy problem, but still have tons of room for spare parts and fuel.
What I think makes the LO4F worse is that the van is empty but you stack any extra weight on the roof... if that could be transferred to internal, it would lower centre of gravity to give it more of an edge against the easier to topple big tire boys
Regardless of center of gravity, the L04F is fundamentally hobbled by its small tires and low ground clearance. I like the van concept, but you winch yourself down the road in this thing more than drive it.
3194 did lack diff lock but there is changes to the truck and FINALLY IT HAS ALWAYS ON DIFF LOCK, but there is won problem, JUST GIVE US THE CAPABILITY TO LIFT THE FREAKING DEAD AXLE.
it it heavier than Chevy pickup. It rolls over so much just because of sheer height and dependent suspension with rigid axles. Lift kit and a roof packs also add height and raise the center of gravity, therefore there are rollovers...
it should be scout: tuz 420/yar 87 (for me loadstar 1700), offroad: tayga, heavy: azov 42-20 ,heavy duty: caterpillar ct680, highway gmc. if we choose specificly from class.
In this video we'll only focus on vehicles that are worse in their own class or similar vehicles. So, instead of including like 3 of highway trucks, I'll only iclude 3 heavy trucks. (c)
cause those 3 are so bad even being heavy, where other 2 highway trucks are lot better in their class. but he should have included the offroad freightliner, its damn bad
@@FireManiac58 i haven t played the the game recently so IDK if they changed anything or not but It was so bad, worst was the stearing response and it cannot pull most heavy stuff over small muds, th engine makes weird noises I last played 6.1 update and havnt played after that for a while
It's amazing how many trucks on this game are flat out useless, luckily we have mods that make these trucks useful. Nice video regardless to show us what and why they are bad.
well, some people just enjoy the looks of certain trucks, even if they aren't practical. It's always good to have a variety of vehicles, useless or not.
@@oneguyandmanycars3586 Them being useless doesn't make the game challenging, it just makes them so bad nobody uses them. Making them slightly better doesn't make the game any easier it just means you have more options, there are trucks that are so good and trucks that are so bad most people stick to the same few trucks. Do you honestly think they made these 5 trucks so bad just so the game wasn't "easy"?
robokun no I was just saying that yeah I do stick with like 4 or so trucks. No I don’t think those 5 trucks in the video were meant to make the game hard or easy. Just the game for some vehicles is easy and some hard. It’s just luck on your purchase of that particular vehicle
It would be great if you added a new test called the roll test where you challenge the truck to different angled bridges to test which one rolls over the quickest and to see what the max angle is
Azov has a long maintence addon which I wanted to use to rescue some vehicles in drowned lands. Bumper got stuck on a concrete slab in the entrance to service hub. It looks cool with heavy crane, but I rarely used it.
there's better addons/trailers to use that have way more repair points like the maintenance addon for the Loadstar which has 400 or the service addons/trailers which have like 800 i think? regular maintenance addons/trailer have 300 points large maintenance addons have 350 points
The Kolob 74760 is arguably one of the best trucks in the game right now lol. With the lift kit, best engine and off-road trans it’s almost unstoppable. I pulled a Derry Longhorn 4520 hooked up to a 5x step deck trailer that had Dan 96320 with the heavy crane attachment loaded on the trailer across 2 Michigan maps. Through some nasty and tight areas. It pulled it really well without even having the other trucks engine running. All dead weight.

@@Seris. I would prefer new maps, where there are no roads and you really struggle to get anywhere as challenge. Then I want ability to repair and change roads on existing maps to make highway trucks usable and have repeated missions to do on them. There are a lot of ways to create challenge in late game. Using bad trucks to make game harder is just BDSM
I myself own a VW bus so the Loaf is dear to my heart. Yeah I have vehicles in the game that can trudge through anything. But I am very familiar with the "there's no way in hell I'm getting through that... better find a way around" mentality!
I play and stream this game over 50 hours. I think that you are underated Kolob 74760. Kolob is by my opinion in top 3 heavy trucks. Excellent in all terain except ice, where is also above average. This is only my opinion, maybe i am wrong. Good video by the way 👍
The MZKT is just badly modelled. Devs shat on themselves with this truck. They completely missed it, and must have been aknowledged as a WIP in my opinion.
MZKTs and KZKTs are basicly somewhat of the successors of MAZ 535/537 line. And MAZ 537 is a legendary heavy offroader. Im completely baffle about the fact devs didnt include MAZ series in Snow runner, each of their former titles had MAZ. Maybe for balance reasons....
Hopefully in a future patch they give the Derry an option to lift the dead axle for off-road use as well as highway. It was the trucks features in real life.
@@scottyfrognsock2396 And it's still useless. Having those wheels be un powered is just a waste. If you use it to lift the truck, the back wheels are lifted and lose traction, especially in mud. There's no time to ever activate those wheels. Leave them up, or don't use the truck at all because it's pretty garbage. Should be in the highway truck category.
AZOV 73210 actually got me though a lot of the game. It has incredible pull/grip/torque and can haul loads and fit high cargo easily due to it being low and wide. If you're not doing too much offroading, or at least, steep offroading that thing will go anywhere else. With chain tyres it will pull special trailers all over Alaska and connect all the Russian maps. Otherwise unless it is very steep you will eventually climb anything after digging your way out with it being so low. Not the best choice but I don't think it deserves to be on the "worst" list.
My yellow Lo4f did a good job on Alaska and completely discovered two maps - Mountain river and White valley. Her small chained wheels didn`t bring me any troubles, just pleasure. And I tested International Transstar, after have found him in swamp. He made some successful deliveries in Michigan by highways and even some offroad. I want to say that Snowrunner is so interesting because it`s gameplay is flexible and variable. Different cars for different circumstances. PS. Thank you for your reviews. They are very useful.
Well the 73210 is actually one of my favourite trucks I’ve got mud tires and a advance special and better winch and it performs pretty well. It’s never tipped over over even with the concrete semi in Michigan and it’s also pretty damn powerful and if your going through rough patches of Russia just put it in low+ and you’ll be fine or high but be ready to switch to auto quick before you stall if you hit a ditch
Please note that this video is heavily outdated. All 5 listed trucks were significantly buffed throughout updates and no longer bad. Currently the only outright bad truck is cat 770g
The loaf is great, really hard to tip over and when it does you can turn in on more often than not. Its also really fuel efficient and with the powerful winch can rescue anything. I reccomend watching "It's Mr Lone Wolf" videos for more reasons for getting a loaf (or several). Its a horse of a truck.
I love how you're taking the azov and putting it into places to make it look bad. It pulls heavier loads easier than either of the other azovs. S power to weight
Actually the Transtar makes a decent repair rig in Michigan. put offroad tires on it with an extended or advanced winch plus snorkel. The weight will help it bite in mild to moderate offroad. With effort can get through island lake or drummond island. same goes for the CLT9000. Also the Transtar is short and nimble, useful to position it when it is narrow.
Gotta disagree on the Lo4f. It is very agile and small, so it can avoid most of those swampy bits. It kinda floats on mud as long as you never, ever stop, and usually you drive alongside the road. I've used it as a support and rescue all over Russia. It has much higher fuel and repair than the other small Russian scouts, can squeeze into and through anything, and can actually be driven straight on roads where the Don 71 is undrivable. You can't drive it the same way but if you make use of the skills it has, it is much more useful and fun than almost any other scout. It's even less likely to tip over than the Scout 800, which I love and used to scout most of Michigan (with the loadstar). If you're comparing based on pure test data, you only get a partial picture.
Even though Scout 800 is one of the worst scouts in the game, it's still my favourite scout car so far - it's light, has quite a lot of fuel (with add-ons) and looks nice. It also rolls nicely when tilting by 15 degrees (making fun of its instability)
I actually like the transtar. It is an awsome run around hauler (as long as there's hard packed ground) and it can haul heavy loads at high speeds. Maybe I'm biased because I like cabovers, but in the right circumstances it can be a fun truck to play with and I highly recommend it.
That 10x10 is one of the best trucks in the entire game, it can out pull any truck, they can pull any load in the game in high while going through mud and snow or water easy, due to it being low to the ground, you couldn’t tip the thing over even if you tried, and it has every add on in the game including a 3 cargo flatbed, I’ve used that truck on every map and it gets shit done
On my second play through I tried hard to find a use for the Transtar in Michigan. You'd think it would be perfect to haul semi trailers, or maybe serve as a remote fueling rig, but unless it's part of a convoy winching it along, it cannot be left to its own devices. It's so under powered that even on flat pavement hills it will stall out in low gear.
The Azov 73210 10x10 is arguably the best truck in the game, and by far my favorite. The front bumper can be an issue if you don't take things at a good angle, or use the winch, but besides that it's super stable and pretty powerful so I never flip or get stuck, and it gets other trucks unstuck pretty easily. This is the best truck to use the heavy crane with in my opinion. I have no problem getting in and out of pesky quarries in it, where other trucks can't even get out of the pit because they roll over instantly.
My Top 5 worst: 5. Derry Longhorn, same as in the video (Cause of the looks, its my 5th) 4. Azov, same as in the video (5-axle). 3. International Scout, with the frame addon it becomes super topheavy. And the steering angle just doesn't help. 2. Belive it or not, my 2nd is the 8x8 tank. Climbing on like 20° hills it likes to wheelie, basically making it understeer (not steer). 1. Caterpillar (Dumper), if bottomed out or high centered. It refuses to steer at all. Doesn't even need to be high centered for it to happen, driving on uneven roads it just loves to steer on its own. Not an expert here, but I do know that Framesteered vehicles DONT tend to turn on their own...
meh, you can use them in michigan and sometimes alaska. they're not terrible as long as you're careful with them. worst issue is lack of traction if they had slight tire upgrades they're fine
They're fine for quick deliveries on mostly paved roads. With AT tires most wont shy away from a little dirt but are best kept out of mud. Thats why my order of operations in any new region is to scout the map and use the more capable rigs for the road repair tasks before making deliveries in my Zikz, which i use as a Highway rig with AWD and available Difflock.
8:29, That's most of 6 wheel truck's situation, some even can't attach trailer when both crane and sideboard installed. That's why F2070A still have its place in my fleet, it can still tow trailer and make turn properly when both crane and sideboard installed.. May be you can make a test video about crane+sideboard bed+sideboard trailer combo. Maybe I am wrong, but I guess F2070A might be the only one that is truly capable of this combo. If so, it deserve a top list.
Azov 73210 is also truly capable of the crane+bed+trailer combo and while you get better traction than with Fleetstar, you'll get far worse ground clearance and low hanging bumper. Another truck capable of the crane+bed+trailer combo is Paystar. Though, it's long frame gives some turning issues with e.g fuel trailer or sideboard trailer but flatbed trailer works perfectly fine. Edit: Freightliner 114SD is also capable of the crane+bed+trailer combo without any turning clearance issues regardless the trailer.
I also like the Azov with the 5 axles. The low front clearance is an issue, sometimes I had to pull it over steps with the winch but as far as I remember it has permanent AWD and difflock and the steering last axle makes it quite capable for tight turns. Imo they should give you the option of a three spot flat bed without crane or two spots plus the crane. It looks like plenty of wasted space. And a bigger crane than the other vehicles, given it's a crane chassis ;-)
Never have dead axle on an offroad vehicle. I once saw a video in TH-cam, it's a Mercedes Benz Actros tipper truck, 10x8, got high centered by the dead axle right in the middle.
knowin pear It’s job IRL was a tank transporter for M60 Pattons. The M747 trailer and an M60A3 have a combined weight of 144000 pounds!! I would say that axle was pretty essential. It would be nice if we could lift it in-game, but since the 3194’s primary role is heavy hauling, I am fine with it being locked down.
I think without it the 3194 could still stuck on its bottom due to big distance between front and rear axles. I also think it requires pedal to the metal driving style in order to not getting stuck on this axle, but to blast through obstacles fast without getting the lower parts damaged
@@pqhkr2002 well that sir that's not that simple that's a military vehicle first and foremost But and I can tell you that most but so it it's made for one on road and off-road but it's been took out of military I think they're being phased out of military use so some of them have ended up in delight commercial hands in places like Alaska So you still need that kind of suspension for different types of jobs and this is a long way to comment but still Also the truck isn't as bad as this video makes it out to be Also big trucks get stuck all the time they have to have other big trucks pull them there's a reason they have big truck that does design to pacifically pull other big trucks that is a thing literally I know I'm using Alaska's example but it's perfect sample in Alaska they have trucks that are designed to pull other trucks and bad places if the roads are too muddy they'll have another truck toe another truck because they have too much weight or they know they're not going to get enough traction it's just how things work
Honestly, I thought that the twin steer would be in here. It tips over very easily, it high centers on everything, and before imandra was added it didn't even have AWD or dif lock
This is out dated for the most part, the AZOV 73210 and Kolob have better collisions now, and are quite useful on Lake Kovd, and the Derry 3194 is one of the trucks benefiting from the 7.0 Imandra update with it getting permanent AWD and Diff lock, as well as STOCK active suspension for the load bearing axle, meaning that it won't high centre as easily as before, while having grater traction from the diff
What the hell is the big deal? Theres no need to change that bumper, that bumper of the kolob is the fascia and radiator for the engine, the bumper of the azov is just important. Well except the only reason why it needs to be changed because it is very low
I think the AZOV 73210 makes an excellent crane truck because it's just the right size, not too small to handle the force of the crane when I'm fighting another truck out of a bad spot with the crane and its still not to big to get into tight places. If I need to climb something I just do it backwards, the truck is rear steer and if I need to get a crane in I'm usually backing the truck in anyway to get the most mobility out of my crane.
I haven't even played this game yet, and I agree on the 73210. Its design alone guarantees its uselessness anywhere but highways or dry plains. Same with the Longhorn, but due to the lack of Diff Lock.
The azov 73210 is actually one of my favorits, of course its pretty low but what would be the challange if it wasnt? It would be OP, especially looking at the fuel consumtion on that thing. Also if modders give it nothing more than a raised suspention it would be the best truck in the game
Azov 10x10 is probably the best crane. Also, Derry is actually good in snow and actually has really good fuel eco when hauling bigger trailers and loads. Try hauling the heavy trailers and compare it to similar trucks.
I have used the 73210. IF you can find ways to work around the front overhang, it is a very capable truck. Winches also help, as do 10 AWD wheels. Everyone has their own ideas of what does and does not work, and one can always find ways to make the worst vehicles work for them.
I took one on a 20 day Mongolian desert trip, goes anywhere, runs on moonshine is need be. Totally using it in game. Tough, i do need a lot more time for basicly anything. The Longhorn is the only one on this list deserving its spot.
Allosaurus 67 It’s sooo much better than before...powers through the mud now. Definitely can still get hung up on the tag axle and the turn radius is still wider than a ship...but I have begun using it for more trail runs, whereas before I reserved exclusively for oversized trailers
At least its one of the best missions which wants you to pull it, only time i could deliver a truck on a trailer without much issue (had to pull it to that one trailer shop first tho)
Think I'll stick with the Royal bm17 for now then, it's given me the best performance in Alaska so far. (I'm still early game) If you know any better trucks in the area or good cost to buy, let me know please!
I personally use the Azov 10x10 as one of my primary trucks. Although it does have the bumper issue, if you drive it right, it doesn't come up much. And between its amazing turning radius thanks to the 6 wheel steering, the ability to have a bed, crane, and trailer all at once, the amazing traction, great headlights, good fuel consumption, and ability to have almost any add-on, it makes it a great truck to me.
The constant getting stuck for no apparent reason was a major letdown of the Kolob, but with the latest patch (6.0+) it seems largely fixed, at least on PC. I'm really happy with it, since I really like the aesthetics of it.
@@jameshardy753 I notice cars get stucked in even slightest mud (Smithville Dam, on asphalt road with my YAR87 with mudtires, there are some slight mud on the road and without turning on AWD the YAR just get all useless). Which isnt suppose to happen as even in thicker mud the YAR usually just breeze by. Same for my Hummer too on the same place.
I like this video but I must say that the 73210 is much better now. The devs updated the collision factors. I used the 73210 for most of the contracts in Drowned Lands. Even the tayga could only use Low+ in the muddy Drowned Lands but the 73210 went through most of the mud in Auto. The 73210 also has incredible power which made hauling a sideboard semi fast & easy in the Drowned Lands. But perhaps most of all, I loved the stability & the turning circle of the 73210.
I use the "worst" highway truck for, well, highways. When there is solid roads between two points, it has the best speed and fuel efficiency, unless you want to carry extra thicc loads
Well true but i sugguest the only highway truck that can help is the GMC MH9500 because it is upgradable to diff lock and will have better performance on muddy terrain
I still use some highway trucks just fine if you know what you're doing and how to read terrain they aren't as bad as all you guys say and they are in the game for those who want a real challenge cause the game is way too easy
Should be noted that the Longhorn displayed now DOES have always on diflock. And on the current PTS you can lift that dead axle if needed. So theres hope for it.
I think everyone should give the highway trucks a try in Alaska with snowtires after all the roads are fixed. They are pretty decent give a good challenge. Plus the ford has a good power to weight ratio.
You'll never turn the truck with crane and sideboard attachment on. The crane extends the sideboard location further back so when you turn it hits the trailer you're pulling. I had this problem with paystar too. Take the crane off and then it will turn properly, or vice versa.
But there are trucks that are capable of towing trailer with crane and bed but game won't let you amd then there're trucks like paystar and transtar which are not suitable but still you can attach them
The Lo4F is worthless...dont even know why the developers thought it was a good idea. The Transtar II is getting upgrades 8n Phase 6 so thatll be nice. And all the other ones have better fixes and upgrades so they work pretty well now. Excited for the new Tayga in Phase 6 also!!
I like the P16 to be honest, I understand it's issues but it has worked fine for me, ofc it is not perfect, it will require usage of the Which more than others but, it's fine. :D
I don’t know about you guys, but I am defending the Azov 73210 like a white knight, it has a lot of contact with the ground due to having 10 wheels, and the option to install big mud tires tops it off, so it does not get stuck in mud, it’s never gonna be wheel spinning and not moving, as mentioned, it has great handling, but that handling also comes in handy when it gets to wiggling out of mud, it has constant AWD and diff lock, allowing you to shift to high or automatic and glide through any terrain that gets on your way, it has extended addons suck as 3 slot beds, and a large maintenance addon, it can even be used as a damn submarine, I remember submerging this thing entirely underwater, and it still moved unharmed. And again, as mentioned, it has great cabin view. My only complaint is that its fuel hungry and it occasionally likes sniffing soil, otherwise, it’s a perfect truck with no downsides.
I wish there was a map where highway trucks would be relevant. Long freeway stretch on asphalt where you could then exchange trailers to an offroad truck to go further.

The GMC is good enough for the first map, after that i used in Alaska occasionally.

You know what would be a great add-on for this game? Plows!
Plows to clear a road through the snow, but also to push boulders aside and clear the way.
I've been damaging my Yar 87 from rocks so a plow would be useful

7:04 there is one thing that is a bit dumb in game. LO4F is a VAN, it has enough room to put 2x or even 3x item of roof rack, why leave the body empty to put all stuff on roof top to make it top heavy?
exactly what I think
@@vladvulcan Not only LO4F, we can say except 3 trucks, Loadstar 1070, Chevroaet C/K 1500 and Hummar H2, others like TUZ 166, DON 71, Khan 39, Yar 87, Scout 800, they all leave their body empty then put a heavy hat. TUZ 420 don't have top heavy problem, but still have tons of room for spare parts and fuel.
Good point...
Snowrunner cant just put anything inside the van? Well thats 100% dumb.
Where else would you put your bread?
What I think makes the LO4F worse is that the van is empty but you stack any extra weight on the roof... if that could be transferred to internal, it would lower centre of gravity to give it more of an edge against the easier to topple big tire boys
It would be cool to have the interior actually used
Regardless of center of gravity, the L04F is fundamentally hobbled by its small tires and low ground clearance. I like the van concept, but you winch yourself down the road in this thing more than drive it.
This would've also made the Scout 800 a lot more useable too

They did too
@@scottyfrognsock2396 And it's still useless.

I use it as a crane truck, it's perfect for that with it's low centre of mass and stable base of 10 wheels.

The loaf is also a barrel of fun to play
Still as trash as DON 71 and cant make a turn without shifting back to first gear
Good video. I have a suggestion. You should do all vehicle reviews, what are their plus and minus sides. Will be informative!

Poor baby LO4F. It was actually based on Soviet/Russian UAZ-452, which is an offroad beast if handled properly.
It really shows how this game has changed, that the Kolob, Azov and Derry in this video are now among the better options xD
With the Oshkosh it is a pusher axle in real life it could be put up and down the reason it is there it for braking under a load
The 10 x 10 azov is one the most stable truck in the game. Even if you bring the heaviest load, still not easy to toppled aside.
I can’t believe someone would choose to defame the mighty Lo4f
My Top 5 worst:
5. Derry Longhorn, same as in the video (Cause of the looks, its my 5th)
I don’t understand the highway trucks. The roads are terrible anyway. Not like there is a 100% paved highway in game
meh, you can use them in michigan and sometimes alaska. they're not terrible as long as you're careful with them. worst issue is lack of traction if they had slight tire upgrades they're fine
And a bigger crane than the other vehicles, given it's a crane chassis ;-)
the real life derry Longhorn can lif tha wheel when not nedded. why it has it for weight distribution
I wish you can lift the DL 3194's dead axle and it will receive better perfromance on offroad but still wouldn't be good enough.

The Derry Longhorn has Diff Lock after the last Update
Its a good truck now.
The International Transtar is the same truck featured on The Terminator, chasing down Sarah Connor in the streets of LA! it's good for chasing people!
The derry longhorn has differential lock now
I think the AZOV 73210 makes an excellent crane truck because it's just the right size, not too small to handle the force of the crane when I'm fighting another truck out of a bad spot with the crane and its still not to big to get into tight places. If I need to climb something I just do it backwards, the truck is rear steer and if I need to get a crane in I'm usually backing the truck in anyway to get the most mobility out of my crane.

I have used the 73210. IF you can find ways to work around the front overhang, it is a very capable truck. Winches also help, as do 10 AWD wheels. Everyone has their own ideas of what does and does not work, and one can always find ways to make the worst vehicles work for them.

Allosaurus 67 It’s sooo much better than before...powers through the mud now. Definitely can still get hung up on the tag axle and the turn radius is still wider than a ship...but I have begun using it for more trail runs, whereas before I reserved exclusively for oversized trailers
Noooo, I've spent so much time pulling the longhorn out of the river to recover and unlock it! Is it all that bad?
Sold mine. Because every time I got it out when playing CO-OP it would crash the game for everyone.
At least its one of the best missions which wants you to pull it, only time i could deliver a truck on a trailer without much issue (had to pull it to that one trailer shop first tho)
Yes. It's an overglorified highway tractor, only worse every other available highway truck. It also has a massive
turn radius.
Think I'll stick with the Royal bm17 for now then, it's given me the best performance in Alaska so far. (I'm still early game) If you know any better trucks in the area or good cost to buy, let me know please!
@@Ben-pj1ds the basic Azov is a beast, and the Russian off-road trucks are quite good.
You gotta admit the Transtar actually looks good
Transtar looks amazing but its just awful.
Spud 607 isn't that how most things are
That super flat cabin? You super serious ??? XD.
KEX CZ in real life its my dream to own one
@@spencerdosh6663 Theres an old 4x6 Scania at my nans farm. Im absolutely dying to be old enough to restore/ drive it.
The constant getting stuck for no apparent reason was a major letdown of the Kolob, but with the latest patch (6.0+) it seems largely fixed, at least on PC. I'm really happy with it, since I really like the aesthetics of it.
did u notice some vehicles seem to become worse after latest huge update?
I think they changed stats on some of the tires and other things on the vehicles. I know the Hummer they fixed the stock tires being crazy grippy
All people: "FIRST", "1st"
NO ONE CARES
True
2nd
well they got your Attention tho
I use the "worst" highway truck for, well, highways. When there is solid roads between two points, it has the best speed and fuel efficiency, unless you want to carry extra thicc loads
That's honestly just a waste of garage space. You're better off selling it or buying another truck.
I am not first I am not last but when I got the noti I clicked very fast
Good video! Has anything been improved since you recorded this?
I mean, that’s kinda why it’s in the highway class.
Agree, you don't see trucks on highways and interstates with lift kits, aggressive tires, AWD and diff lock, do you?
I like that profile pic man kenworth w900a 👍
I still love the Bushanka. Yes I know it sucks, but it looks so derpy and Loafy that I just have to smile whenever I see it.
What's the point of having highway trucks when literally this game is 95% offroading
Yeah there should be a new map in michigan USA, and they would name it: Countryside Highway
And there would be great missions for highway trucks.
KamAZ 7360 -
best crane platform, not for delivery.
Transtar 4070A - not off-road but very good on forest trails and highways with a semi-trailer 🙂
Well the Kamaz from a kilometer looks like a crane platform. They have low ground clearance and profile. It's obvious it's a road truck.
I dont get the pont of any truck showing up in this game without 4wd or diff lock.
The highway trucks are all useless
Well true but i sugguest the only highway truck that can help is the GMC MH9500 because it is upgradable to diff lock and will have better performance on muddy terrain
Not the first truck you get, when its max upgraded it's an MVP
I still use some highway trucks just fine if you know what you're doing and how to read terrain they aren't as bad as all you guys say and they are in the game for those who want a real challenge cause the game is way too easy
Beautiful videos!!!!❤ keep going!!!🔥
Knan lo4f, am l the only one who enjoy this truck? Being level 14 this car is much better than lada niva.
I like the Lo4F also it really doesn't have roll issues like most scouts. That said you can't go into deep mud it just won't dig out
That Azov 73210 is my go-to truck! You must be using it wrong 😂 get the engine upgrades and raised suspension and you’re golden
My only complaint is that its fuel hungry and it occasionally likes sniffing soil, otherwise, it’s a perfect truck with no downsides.
it was bad truck but now its overpowered
