  • Motley Crue party tales Vol. 5, Madison Square Garden Theatre of Pain tour and after party 8/14/1985. The after party was held in an un- air conditioned loft in the middle of summer in NYC. It was easily 100 sweaty, humid degrees in there. Had to make sure the party favors didn’t melt away! We figured out a solution of course! We ended up at Tommy’s hotel room until sunrise!

The opener was Autograph in So. Cal. Great show. I was 14. My friends older sister drove us. Long Beach Arena if I’m not mistaken. Love your channel. 👍

Understand we in the RATT crowd are just as relentless as Motley. Would love to hear more about the Rodent Renegades

Motley was a touchstone band. If you ask me, mick was the man behind curtain for that group. He took 3 green kids and helped mold them.

This story sort of bring to light how much Phil Lewis seems to dislike Vince and Motley Crue. Sounds like Kelly was responsible. Wild stories man. Good stuff.

Love you memory’s. I’m thinking it was Loudness that opened because there is a utube video of Loudness performing at that show and footage of them arriving along with fan interviews outside the Garden. Although no Crue footage.

Thank you so much for your support! It was 1985 and most old buildings in NYC didn’t have central AC. That might have been their only choice of a party space that close to MSG

@@beforeiforget1985 I’m wondering if you can do a video when you were managing L.A. Guns, about how your day to day operations went. Like, when you would stop in a city, how would the day start, and how would it end, in general. That would be interesting! Thanks man, and your stories and channel is really great! Thanks again.

That tour they basically only played for an hour+25 min. Thats WITH a guitar solo and drum solo. Thats a stretch for a headlining act. But....

Ahh the final chapter, sad there isnt anymore, but all things come to an end.
Man, Vince was such a hypocrite. He banged probably thousands of girls while with Sharise. I saw him in 2005 in Wichita. Kansas at a hotel bar. He was with some girl while married.
To mess with someones career over something that he doea the exact same thing too... is not cool, which is an understatement.
Thanks for the cool stories. Hope to read yr book someday.

Did LA Guns ever play L'amour in BK or City Gardens in Trenton?.. Guessing at least L'amour but before my era of going there. (Story of Nikki getting blown at L'amour made me wonder if it was LA Guns who Motley came to see there)

LA Guns played Lamour on their reunion in the 90’s. Motley was at Lamour to see Ratt. Thanks for watching!
