- Tamar Braxton bared her feelings out in a long message on social media, stating why she actually divorced her husband, Vince Herbert, after almost 9 years of marriage. Tamar alluded to that Vince had several girlfriends and also revealed that she can no longer fake being happy in her marriage. She said when Vince threatened to pushed her out of their home, she was officially done with the marriage.

lol i made the too close home comment and now im feeling myself😂😘. But I honestly never really liked tamar til her recent breakfast club interview. I feel like she is just now being herself.
I believe she dealt with a lot of insecurities that lead to her relationship with Vince and in turn he kind of maybe started feeling himself. I think Christina Aguilera spoke about something similar in her relationship to her ex husband who she worked close with. She has a song called "Stronger Than Ever" about it which kinda detailed her husband coming into her life and then making her feel like she wasn't always good enough and how she lost herself. Her song "You Lost Me" is also about their relationship.
So, sometimes you go through these relationships and when they're over you're allowed to become yourself. Tamar does seem like a handful but again, Vince seems like he started feeling himself a bit and she started pretty much giving up everything to be with him. Almost as if he wanted to be the PROVIDER and in charge and she pretty much said "OH WELL YOU LEAD THE WAY" and shit fell apart.
Anywho, I hope she returns to music. She's so talented. Demi Lovato has a song called Cry Baby that IMO sounds so much like something Tamar Braxton would've sang and passed on for her new album. Good luck to her.

Why didn't her Mother do something like call 911 if all this beat downs were going on, also when he got sued and lost......it really looks like she is try to make sure she doesn't lose her money. She does have a lot of mouth, and I couldn't stand some of the stuff she yanked about.

It's unfortunate that people don't believe Tamar. People assume that Vince is all innocent cause he's more reserved, but abusers are sometimes like that in public. I remember when she gave birth and he took the baby inside and left her in the car with all of the bags and stuff...😒 Always telling her to "watch her mouth." Vince seems super sweet and charming and they're usually the ones who abuse their family (emotionally and physically) behind close doors. A few months ago i went back and watched all the old seasons of Tamar and Vince on Hulu. I’ve been in emotional and mentally abusive relationships. The things that he did in the show reminded me so much of the things that person used to do to me. He broke my spirit so much that when we were out to eat i only looked at my food and him. I literally put my head down on the table once when a guy i knew walked in, so the guy wouldn’t come over and speak. I wish Tamar the best. Being in that type of situation is literally hell.

I’m so glad Tamar is living her truth, life is way too short to spend it unhappily. I wish her the best and while i don’t know her personally I pray that she finds the strength to keep going forward with this. I never felt comfortable with the way Vince would speak to her he is a complete ass to her and i hope she moves on and finds true love, if not with another with herself . I learned that just bc you are happy doesn't mean that the other person is too. Also, you can live with your spouse for yrs & yrs and still not completely know them. At the end of the day the only thing that we can do is to try to make good choices and put God first. The rest will wrk its self out one way or another. I'm a fan for life. My first thought when you said Wendy didn’t want Tamar coming on to her showwas def “it’s because it hits home for her”. I believe that. Sad, but I’m happy Tamar is finally living in her truth.

Marriage is a lot of work, and I can only imagine how it feels when you feel like you're the only one putting in that work. Recently her vibe has been very sad to me, so I hope that this will bring some happiness back into her life as she gets to know herself again. I think Tarmar is also talking about Lonnie Love from The Real as being one of Vince "girlfriends". Lonnie would always says something flirtatious and Tamar would check her all the time. As a married woman I don't play about my man either...
