Hi Joe, it’s actually a good question. This tip is only for the fairway bunker shots. Most of the times you have to catch the sand first for the green side bunker shots. Thanks for double checking! 👍
안녕하세요 ^^ 보통 아이언이나 우드의 경우엔 공이 맞자마자 디보트가 나는데요, 타이밍이나 느낌상으론 동시에 맞는다고 느껴지겠죠? 하지만 페어웨이 벙커샷은 탑볼 치듯이 과하게 공만 맞추는 느낌이 나기 때문에 이렇게 표현을 했습니다. 혹시나 헷갈리셨다면 다음에는 정정 하도록 할게요~^^ 감사합니다 😊

Catch the ball이라고 하나요 hit the ball 이라고 안하구요?? ㅎ 처음안사실...ㅎ 공을 먼저 친다는말이 catch the ball 이 미국에서 더 많이사용되는표현인가요??
Hit the ball 도 catch the ball 과 같이 올바른 표현입니다. 미국에선 두가지 다 사용이 됩니다. 캐치 더 볼은 볼을 먼저 맞춘다는 표현에 조금 더 강조한 느낌으로 생각이 드네요.
