I opted to get the LETS RESIN heating mat. You heat for 2 hours, cool for 30 min and it’s fully cured. I didn’t want to have to deal with the size of my mold fitting in the machine and it was less than 1/2 the price.
Wow wow wow!! I feel like this would be a game changer for me! This would be perfect for earring making and heating the resin! Since moving away from the desert and dealing with humidity this would be such a huge life saver! Thank you for doing this video!!
Very cool!!! I'm loving the light switches!!! When I redid my daughters room years ago, we tried to find one not too kiddy like. It's hard. That would have been a good option!!
I knew a person who baked her coasters, because they were not set up fully cured. It worked too, so I’m sure this is another baking method. But Platinum 360 has some new resins that cure in 2-4 hrs, I’m excited to get them hopefully soon
I would be scared to eat food used in my oven again if I baked them. Lol. But that's cool it worked. New resin that sets up in 2-4 hours 😲 that's awesome.
@@naptimecreations yea, she wanted to give gifts of coasters to some party she was going to and ran out of time. She asked me about the baking method, but I hadn’t heard of that. I can’t remember how long she had to bake though
I just bought one Tish not the same brand but works the same. Going to give it a go today. How do you decide how long and the temp to put it on? Thanks for the demo xxxx
Awesome, I'm sure you will love it. This one has an A.I button press it and it does the temp automatically. The temp changes throughout the 2 hour session. It starts out at 95F Does yours have an A.I button?
Does the hole in the middle have a raised lip around it? Or is it flush with the rest of the tray? I think I remember an Amazon review saying that the hole was really inconvenient because you couldn't put stuff over the hole without making your mold uneven
It's flush, you can cover the hole without issues. They have videos on their Instagram where they use the machine with the hole covered. I just decided not to cover it in this video but they have several videos on their Instagram where they use it with the hole covered.
If you have the tray upside down it will leave a lip for you to work around. I actually made the mistake of placing the tray in wrong one time and I thought it was the end of the world 🤣🤭🤔🙄 I did correct my mistake. 😊
Hi Tish. I’ve had my eye on that machine but noticed a few people left reviews stating that the resin dryer ruined their silicone molds. Others stated that a dehydrator worked better. Please follow up with your viewers if you notice your molds melting or stretching out..or buckling in.
I haven't noticed that, I think any negative reviews are user error. The company has videos showing them covering the hole in the center of the tray. I didn't do that any my molds were fine. Maybe people are covering the hole in the center of the tray with their molds? The machine gets very hot. It also depends on the type of silicone the mold was made from. Cheaper molds are not made with quality silicone. Maybe they were using the cheap clear machine made molds with this Machine? It worked great for me.

Hi, unfortunately no it won't cure sticky resin. Sticky resin happens when it's undermixed or not 100% equal parts A and B. I use the double mix method, it ensures your resin is 100% mixed. I show in this video how I do the double mix method to mix my resin th-cam.com/video/AHOuskyN_DM/w-d-xo.html

I bought this and have tried many times. My pieces are constantly off level because the middle sinks from the weight of the resin. UGH! Has anyone else had this issue? This happens even when I avoid the open circle that has a little ledge around it.
You can cover the hole with your molds. I have been watching their tutorial videos on Instagram and they cover the hole on the trays every time. Maybe try again covering the hole to make the tray more level.
I have the new deeper trays and the hole in the middle does not have a lip any longer. The trays are now level also. It works really well now with the new trays and they were only $30 on Amazon.
I had bought the original. It sagged and was not very big… it failed after 2-3 uses and was returned… I bought a food dehydrator instead and it works PERFECT! I do 2 hours on high (158*f) for w hours, cool and cured perfectly, not bendy, not brittle and not sticky!
Because that’s all it is! A used dehydrator from a thrift shop does the exact same thing and has sturdier trays. There are videos of people comparing them and the result is the same. 😉
I have the previous model - came with a silicone expansion ring for deeper molds. Absolutely love it!
