I know you’re priority are the parks, but just further out on Long Island are the BEAUTIFUL little towns, and beaches of the HAMPTONS…….a MUST SEE!!
Agreed! Montauk and Montauk Point/Lighthouse are must-sees while in Long Island!

Hamptons is for rich elites escaping the city for the summer. Very expensive and overrated to visit as a tourist. Shawn should visit the Jersey shore boardwalks and piers instead.

Utter chaos! I tune in to relax when my kids are in bed, and this one set me off with a headache, goodness how you both felt 😂😂
I can't believe you went to Adventureland! Very impressed that you made the time for such a tiny chintzy park! It's such a Long Island spot. Many people from the 5 boroughs dont even know it exists. It is more of a local hangout for teens and a good place to take the kiddies. I hung out there in the early 90's a few times as a teen and brought my kids their in the mid 2000's. We definitely wouldn't drive there from our home in Queens. I'm also surprised you didn't mention the intense personalities of the Long Islanders at the park.

I feel so bad that you went while a school was there. In the Spring a lot of schools have class trips there. My kids entire middle school went one day in June. Not that you will go back but to anyone reading this, my BEST advice is to go on a weekday around 2-3 pm in the summer when the camps have left. We did this a few weeks ago and hardly waited on on any lines.
This looks alot like one of my nightmares, with all those school trips!

The P.O.P (Pay One Price) band allows you to ride everything. I used to work there from 2002-2006. I was privileged enough to operate the only ride that went upside down in the park called Top Scan. It sat where the Lil Dipper is located now.

Does Anyone Remember When They Had To Do Exersises Before Getting On The Wooden Rollercoaster And Then Opened The Ait Gates And Closed Them Immediately After Before Anyone Could Get On? I Think It Was In Asia Somewhere

I'm from the northeastern part of Long Island, and this is probably the closest dry amusement park with roller coasters to where I live!

Kool-aid man! Oh Yeah! (That’s his catchphrase). I should have suggested it earlier, but some of the best and oldest pizza in the US is at Totonno’s in Coney Island, a few blocks from the park. They cook it with a coal fire.

5:30 I notice on my travels in the northeast states, children tend to be more wild and act out by screaming in public for fun and disturb the patrons. Other parts of the USA including west, Midwest states such as Ohio and southern states, the kids are much quieter and don't behave this loud in public places unlike the Northeast. I went to Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, a historic 1830s village in October 2022 and not only the school kids on the field trip were acting up like what you experienced, they were treating the 19th century village like a playground. Really sorry you had to go through that. Even back home, I have taken my friends to some museums who works on weekends, so we go to the museums on a weekday on their day off from work and run into some large school groups. Unlike the theme parks, if you are on government assistance in the US, there is a Museums for All program to get discontinued tickets.

Don't know about the UK, but US schools do a bunch of field trips around this time to use up the budget.
End of the year school trips are very common in elementary and middle school. They did it when I was in school but we never got to go to the amusement park. 😕
our schools have massive budgets and take the graduating classes on field trips
on friday we went here and on saturday we went to six flags

Is it me, or is the park logo incredibly similar to Gardaland?! Great, chaotic Vlog, and that's the beauty of visiting new parks - never know exactly how the visit will pan out!

You guys should definitely have a trip one year to check out more of long Island there's more things to do including long Island water Park named splish splash which is a nice water park

Actually Long Island is part of the New York City boroughs. Long Island is actually considered a suburb to manhattan. Roosevelt island falls under Manhattan territory. That island has an ivy league school on it and apartment buildings with businesses on the ground level.

I have been to adventure land for a very long time wow they put a lot of new rides I used to live on Long Island New York but I moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina
I see there’s a lot of school buses at the theme park you are visiting wow a lot of teenagers I love watching TH-cam videos because I see many young girls and women no little kids just grown ups
