I got a chance to meet Mr Clark Terry I love this song and the Musicians that played on his songs were awesome. he is well missed. I got a chance to meet him here in Pine Bluff Arkansas and he gave me a lot encouragement and I miss him and I still love his music
Pure joy! CT had the happiest sound in jazz. Love all the solos.

That touched my soul
My God! That alto sax player!
jazz pianists amaze me at how they sit there making it seem that it is all so easy to play those complex jazz solos almost as if they are bored-pure genius to me.
mostly years practicing.
@@saxofonistacr correct...it's just a language. Instead of using your mouth to speak, you're using your hands/fingers. Same thing.
@@rjpimprov Not that it is an easy task. Clark terry is one of the cleanest musician of his era. this are all top performers. We are listening to the top players since there is some decent recording. We can now listen all day long only the best of the bests in history. then we go out to our local bar and we realize, it is not an easy task to find that kind of musicians, not even today that we have so much information to study
@@saxofonistacr trust me. I played with ct. I knew this pianist. The reason why your local musician isn’t as skilled is due to many factors. Including not playing gigs every day just about for years on end like Clark did. It’s just language skills. It’s not rocket science.
Fantástico

Ugly rendition of a beautiful song.
what didn't you like?
Yeah dude I agree, totally doesn't capture the solemness of what is over the rainbow. Jazz sucks!

In your opinion numpty!
@@benhuff1 This is just another interpretation of the song. You've got to remember that the original song is also jazz. Can't just say "jazz sucks", it's the most diverse genres of music you'll come across.
Aathavan Subakumar I put /s to show that my comment was sarcastic
