Always, the 3SAT ( or other german) broadcasts are of high quality, but this is obviously off a VHS or other analog recording or the uploader did something to FUCK IT UP and should re upload.

jim mullen. check some of his other vids/ groups. Another fine "underrated"/ not as well known player. Plays some nice jazzy blues with organ trios and funky fusion stuff.
This man was a kingpin in Count Basie's Orchestra, among many, many others... and you think he made his name playing for the Johnny Carson Show?? You might find reading some of his biography interesting and enlightening. What is old??
@@joanneday9260 There is also a wonderful movie documentary about him. The movie is called Keep On Keeping On. It was very beautiful because the story shows how a friendship developed between Clark and a young piano virtuoso who was enrolled in Jazz Studies at one of the major schools here in America where jazz studies have excellent programs. The piano player was blind and Clark was starting to feel the effects of aging. There was a beautiful bonding between these two wonderful musicians. You won't regret checking this movie out.

Gene Harris was a regular fixture in my hometown, Boise, Idaho USA.
I was fortunate to hear him live one hot Sunday afternoon at the St Chappelle Winery. What a wonderfull afternoon and memory.
