@@ravenaussie3760 I can see your point. I love the hulk too. And I feel that he should've fought against a different dragon ball character that isn't either Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Beerus, or even Whis. Like maybe Nappa could've been more fitting to fight?
I wasn't able to tell, once the explanations and power scaling was over, I had my volume high enough to only hear Nate and Chad, once the battle started, the dialogue was kinda... no thanks.
Batman used Kryptonite gas to subdue Superman and weaken him into a killable state. Goku is somebody who is known to fight only when its fair and the opponent is at their best, so the whole argument with comparing thr Batman V Superman to Superman V Goku is kind of irrelevant since Batman exploited a weakness.
@@Black_ReaperKai The problem with that logic is Superman has "merged" memories from other superman versions before and has learned subsequent memories from past lives. Since many of his powers he "learns about" aka it's not a new power he gained through mutation or something it's just he can always do it just didn't know how to till then, kinda makes all superman from krypton the same anyway.
@@Dallen12378 Well, the battle w/ Freeza wasn't a tournament yet Goku wanted him at full power. If anything, tournament fights are where rules get exploited. Superman has used his intelligence to win as well, Batman's just a master of prep time. There's also no guarantee that kryptonite would be conveniently present in the battlefield.
My problem with the second Goku vs Superman video was that they made it almost immediately after Super Sayian Blue was created and they used the excuse that "Superman is as strong as he needs to be" in order to negate any and all power levels. Well he's been weak enough to also lose so...
While it was stupid how easily they made Superman win with basically no effort....it does make sense when you think about WHY he won and will pretty much always win against Goku….and not really think about how he did it. Goku is a character designed to have personal limits he can test and overcome where Superman basically doesn't. Yes, with enough training, Goku can eventually push past those limits and reach new ones. But Superman technically doesn't have any limits at all and as long as he is able to absorb the sun's energy, he will continue to grow stronger indefinitely.
@@bloodwolfgaming9269 I can think of a few ways Goku can win and thats in the Dragon ball Super manga where Goku can channel destruction energy into a hakai in a way similar to what Beerus. since destruction energy is different than regular ki Superman may not have a counter for it. You could argue that Supes can over power the blast similar to Freiza but he might not because Superman (Likely) wouldn't know about destruction energy and might try to tank the blast and not realize it until it's too late, and Goku mastered Ultra instinct allowing him to surpass Jiren (granted this wasn't full powered Jiern but it was the same strength used to surpass Belmond a God of Destruction) and Later match and overwhelm Jirens Full powered state. I don't think Supes ever fought and beat a being on the level of a god of destruction or a being like Jiern on his own.
10:50 No that's Doc Samson he's a psychiatrist and a friend of Hulk, who got his gamma powers after exposing himself to a ray that had absorbed Hulk's powers in an attempt to cure Bruce and save Betty who was turned into a crystalized form.
29:20 A second rematch probably still wouldn't change anything. Superman has one-punched beings like Darkseid, Doomsday and even the World Forger who is basically like Zen'Oh^2. It's like boomstick said: DC writers keep making Superman the most impossibly OP guy ever, because that's what he's all about.
I also find it funny that people say well Goku now has mui so he can win now but (maybe it is the other one) torquasom vo is literally the same thing as ultra instinct
When you you actually think about it goku wins straight up but for death battle they take everything in account and then adds it into the fight no matter how insane it is and if zen oh existed there wouldn't be a fight especially if they are a zen oh like being because they can just erase him
I don't think its a good idea at this stage since if they did give Goku a win it could easily be interpreted as "Oh they just did that to make people feel better.".
imagined if Vic was never fired (I really dunno if he really is guilty of the "sexual harassment" allegations, its still not proven but still fired anyway) , it would've been perfect that he would voice Edward Elric and Broly in Death battle (er, unless there's copyright laws regarding characters and franchise.)
“A DB character won, which is a change up to this series” Literally every other DB character has won besides Goku and Buu xD Vegeta, Android 18, Master Roshi, Hercule, and Beerus have all won
I've said this before and I'll say it again however many times needed: "Goku vs. Superman 3" would be an absolute improvement from the previous outcomes, and "Hulk vs. Broly" has solidified this belief for me. There is no question, there are no doubts, if you know where to look, if you know how to pinpoint the greatest feats, if you make an amalgamation of different versions for the same character, Superman will remain the most overpowered comic book hero in fiction. This is the primal reason why I deemed any sort of argument for the previous fights in Death Battle as... well, pointless. Goku will never win against a flawless, amalgamated version of Superman, I accepted it and moved on long ago, regardless of how unfair it absolutely was. But now... there's hope. Death Battle has grown, a lot. Just look carefully at what they did with this fight. They could've brought up all kinds of absurd alternate versions of the Hulk to boost him up, such as Space Punisher Hulk. But they didn't. They could've attempted to actually combine original Broly or Kale with canon Broly to make him seem weaker. But they didn't. They stuck with 616 Hulk and DBS Broly throughout the entirety of the video, and only relied on alternate versions of the characters as references to measure the actual fighters' potential and power. That's called power-scaling, baby, and Death Battle has gotten quite good at it. For God's sake, they relied on Goku's far increased base power in the Broly movie to be greater than or equal to SSG Goku from Battle of Gods, and they even compared Broly to previous enemies Goku has faced when he wasn't as strong, including Zamasu and Jiren. That... that is progress right there, and justice done to the true power of Dragon Ball characters. I'm genuinely proud of the Death Battle team. Tell you what, I don't even care who will be the winner, for as long as they can convince me. I've done my research countless times. Others have debunked the previous outcomes countless times. If a "Goku vs. Superman 3" means Goku will be given the Broly treatment in this video and his power will finally be scaled with honor and consistency (not to mention the addition of Ultra Instinct), while Superman will be given the Hulk treatment in this video and they will only focus on a single version of him from the universe most fans are used to in the comics, and after all of that we get another epic 3D battle, then let me make this clear: I'm all down for it. Please make it happen for the 10-year anniversary.
Pretty sure regardless, almost any version of Hulk would still lose. Far as I know the most crazy thing I remember from Space Punisher Hulk is that he killed 6 or so Watchers. Only way I think Hulk would win if it was him possessed by the One Below All, but at that point its not really Hulk.
@@TheHobbes666 Very true. I only brought up Space Punisher Hulk as one of numerous alternate versions Death Battle could've brought up to boost up 616 Hulk's power potential and capabilities. After all, the Watchers may not get much recognition, but on the grander scheme of the Marvel Universe, they're up there in the Cosmic Hierarchy, and SPH singlehandedly slaughtered a good amount of them without even trying. That's impressive from any angle you look at it, and it's not a feat 616 Hulk has shown himself, whether as the Devil, Green Scar, or even World Breaker. Whether or not it'd make a difference for the outcome, now that's another story, and I agree with you. But would it make a difference for Hulk's maximum? Most definitely, and I'm proud they didn't go that route.
@@bluecrush4903 That is what I dearly refer to as "plot shenanigans." It shouldn't be surprising when you have a character who has developed contingencies and strategies for nearly every possible threat. Bruce understands that Clark is overpowered, so he will make sure to milk the absolute Hell out of a Kryptonian's weakness, a.k.a. kryptonite, when dealing with a Superman gone rogue. Bruce will do that to literally any character gone rogue in his universe if given the chance, because... well, he's Batman. And plus, there have been times Clark just said "Screw it!" and pushed through, regardless of kryptonite. So yeah, if plot calls for it, Superman will surpass his own natural weakness through sheer willpower just to save the day, because... well, he's Superman. These characters are old, they've broken their own rules many times in different scenarios, but there is still some consistency when you focus on a single version for each character. You have a beginning for their journey, you've seen them grow, you've seen what they're capable of, and you know their limits, just like with any other character. But when you go out of your way to pinpoint each and every single moment throughout different continuities that showcase how overpowered a character can be, the other character will fall short in comparison, and that's exactly what Death Battle did years ago. There's hope now, for they've grown, and this video is the proof of that. They still have some things to work on, that's for sure, but at least if they give it another shot, it would be a far greater improvement, and they'd do both characters justice, without making one a flawless amalgamation of different versions, or downplaying the other one's true power potential and capabilities, and that's my entire point.
in goku versus superman 2, they only used mainline versions of each. and they literally explained why they can't compare them to people they've fought. It just leads to all kinds of inconsistencies. plus a lot of the debunks are... off. they frequently use outside logic or focus on only what they want too. and ultra instinct wouldn't change much, it's to similar to torqusm rao and vo.
That was the best Death Battle season 7 finale ever. With the Green Door invented by The One Below All, the current Bruce Banner/Hulk becomes a universal-level plus. With the Legendary Super Saiyan form, the 2018 Broly reboot version becomes a universal-level plus. Enjoy the New Year.
@@McMannigancoming back to this after a while but Hulk did lose to Zeus. He was just way too powerful for Hulk to even keep up and Brolys multiversal too. Remember Broly was stronger than base Gogeta who was stronger than Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta. Goku in base could at LEAST destroy a universe and the multiplier for Super Saiyan Blue could potentially be thousands. Add on Gogetas power with the same multipliers for for Blue, Brolys power is multiversal to an insane amount. His max power could potentially destroy millions of universes. And like they said Brolys power increases too just like Hulks due to their rage. Hulk would constantly be playing catchup while he tries to get to Brolys ever increasing power. Honestly it is just insane how OP they made Dragon Ball characters for no reason. I enjoyed older Dragon Ball because the characters had limits and they weren’t perfect. Then Super was introduced and they threw all that power scaling out the window and said fuck it.
19:08 Not technically true. I don’t know about the new Broly, but the old Broly’s Lss form didn’t have the speed and mobility decreases usually associated with muscle increasing transformations, he was actually way faster.
I'd like to point out that the only Dragonball characters who have lost on Death Battle is Goku and Buu. All things considered, Dragonball has a pretty good track record on Death Battle
Chad has no knowledge of how powerful superman really is in the comic's it's the reason why most marvel fans hate dc they always say that DC's characters are too op and especially superman is way to op.
@@jp3813 Goku against immortal Hulk? Not a chance. If he couldn’t win against Broly without fusing into Gogeta, then he’ll never win against Hulk, which DB later recalculated Hulk’s power to actually be around 98,000 base universal. Way more than Goku can handle even with this new base form in Super (though still way below Broly). Goku simply doesn’t have enough power to take down Hulk for good even with Ultra Instinct
@@Mojo1356homie they literally said in the video JUST IN SSJ3 Goku was 30x stronger than Hulk. And considering just going from 3 to Blue could be a thousands of times difference and then factoring in Ultra Instinct could potentially be thousands of times stronger than that… Goku decimates Hulk Okay now I see your point. Them saying Broly is 98,000 could be insane but remember again TUI could potentially be millions of times increase. Considering Base Goku could destroy a universe and Blue could be thousands of times stronger than that. Goku combined Blue with Kaio-Ken x20 so however strong Blue is times 20. Goku with that power couldn’t lay a finger on Jiren and got one shot. And Jiren wasn’t even trying. Once he got to UI he was actually able to keep pace with Jiren and in the true white haired form of UI could fight on par and even beat Full Power Jiren. This all goes to say that UI could be thousands of times stronger than SSBKKx20. Let’s just do some quick math for fun. Let’s say SSB is a thousand times multiplier. Times that by 20 so you get 20,000. Let’s times that again by 1,000 for potentially how stronger UI is. That’s 20,000,000. Even if we give Hulk the absolute benefit of the doubt and say UI was only 100 times stronger than SSBKKx20, that’s still 2,000,000. Hell let’s lowball Goku even further and say it’s only 50 times stronger. That’s still 1,000,000. This is HEAVILY lowballing since like I said SSBKKx20 Goku wasn’t even able to touch Jiren but white haired UI could beat him in his most powerful state. Gokus also smarter than Hulk in terms of a battle. Gokus known for being an expert when it comes to his battle IQ and is one of the best martial artists in Dragon Ball. Anyway you slice it Gokus just way stronger than Hulk. Also even the argument of Hulk could just get angrier and then pass Goku in terms of strength wouldn’t work. Just like all the other fights Hulk had with a stronger opponent, he will eventually get overwhelmed and with a foe that’s this stronger than him, the likelihood of Goku ending the fight before he could reach a point further wouldn’t be that possible. Also not sure if you commented this before Thor vs Vegeta but I actually downplayed Goku more than what they said the strength was for Vegeta. They said in Blue Evolved he was multiversal by 260,000 times and that Goku in SSBKKx20 was on par with that. I lowballed Goku and said Blue Kaio-Ken was only a 20,000 times multiplier and not 260,000. If we do the same calculations I did with this new power level, if white haired UI was 50 times more powerful than Blue Kaio-Ken, Goku would be 13 times more powerful than what I said (13,000,000) If it was 100 he’d be at 26,000,000. And if it was at 1,000 he’d be 260,000,000. Hell just for the sake of it let’s say being oneshot to being able to beat a foe in Dragon Ball only required you to be 10x stronger. That’s still 2,600,000. So either way whether you use Death Battles calculations or mine, Goku is still much stronger than Hulk and smarter when it comes to a fight.
Renegades: Dragonball winning in Death Battle is a rarity as Goku has lost twice Me: *Looks at the 5 season-long winning streak the series has had with 6 of the 9 fights being wins* ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
I could tell you guys were a little confused when it mentioned how hulk gets his immortality . Take a look at the immortal hulk series. It’s one of the most current hulk series and their still coming out with issues at the moment!
11:06 It's called the recent run of comics AKA The Immortal Hulk. Basically they turned Hulk into a horror movie monster. Great stuff and I'd recommend you try and read it some time.
That is not a reference to TFS, TFS were referencing a line from the original Broly (that I don't think was in the dub, I don't remember it being in it) and was also in the video games.
In the Original Dub of the movie they Z Broly actually says "Monster? No I am the Devil Himself" but a lot of the re-release versions and re-dub changed that line along with the badass rock music that played during the fight to a generic Bruce Falconer theme (No disrespect he makes good pieces of OG DB music) but the Rock song was amazing and if i remember it was called "10's" by Pantera
You know what the worst part is about the idea of Goku vs. Superman 3? It's that the idea has merit given all the new feats and such that both characters have received in the time that has passed since the last one. That's a terrifying thought, because the last thing the internet needs is another round of discourse over that fight.
You guys really need to check out some of the nerdcore rap cyphers and battles by Rustage, DaddyPhatSnaps, their whole crew, since you're already following and love most of the series they rap about.
They'll never do a part 3 for Goku vs. Superman. The only reason they did 2 was because since 1 they went from Super Saiyan 4 to Super Saiyan Blue and Death Battle did the rematch to prove the point "Goku will never beat Superman no matter how many new forms he gets." kind of petty in all honesty
Well it was also in large part due to the flood of requests they got for a rematch/reanalysis between the two, which DB uses to determine what battles the fans want to see. I see your point though.
It's not petty when it's fact, they received a lot of request and they had to make it clear to the DB fans that Goku isn't beating superman, other wise they would ask for 3,4 and so on until Goku wins so they are satisfied.
It wouldn't surprise me if they do Broly vs Doomsday after this yeah they did a DBX ,but I'd argue that was old Broly and they didn't actually go into detail with either so seeing the most powerful version of Doomsday against New Broly at his most powerful would be interesting.
Fun fact, Nate. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan has been renamed to just Super Saiyan Blue because, as you pointed out, the original name is far too long.
I love how angry people get in these death battles despite them providing all the facts and information leading to conclusion and doing a awesome job at showing the evidence. The only fight I didn't agree with was the one where Solid Snake is fighting Sam Fisher and that's only because he receives outside help as opposed to handling things entirely on his own.
The Goku fans boys don't ever seem to remember that Superman won both times against Goku while DB was actively using the nerfed to the ground versions of him, while at the same time putting other restrictions on to the guy.😂
They also can't seem to grasp the fact that Goku is a character designed to have limits that he can always test himself with where as Superman was designed to not have any limits at all.
@@bloodwolfgaming9269 sigh where have you been ? The whole point of supers tournaments of power was to overcome those limits EVERY SINGLE TIME. THEY have no limits fools. UI proves that. Lmao a part 3 would be a slaughter
I have now responded to every relevant Goku v superman argument (which lets be honest was mostly Obito) and now i am content with seeing my inbox full with reasons why dye boy can beat a guy who cant be erased can turn off his weakness and can shatter all of existence.
I would've called the red form a "Saiyan God", and blue would've been called "Super Saiyan God". SS Blue is basically the red form when mixed with Super Saiyan after all, so to me, that would've made more sense.
Agreed. Death Battle basically said "Superman is written so poorly he would win every fight". It's not about Goku, it's about Superman having a canon "I always win" card.
i love how they relate power with strength in death battle. its not that broly is x times stronger then the hulk. its that hes way more powerful as in power, energy, ki etc. hulk prob as strong maybe stronger but ki allows broly to alter his stats, spd, ranged attacks etc. however it costs power aka ki to do...technically if battle went on long enough, broly would run out of ki but hulk could keep smashing as he doesnt use power source to make him powerful...the only true question is can hulk one punch broly before broly can power up and can broly energy blast hulk to oblivion before hulk wears him down and over takes him
Also, another thing they don't consider. The Dragon Ball Universe does include the Afterlife, a.k.a. Heaven and Hell, which the Saiyan's could destroy. Hulk couldn't destroy the Afterlife but just the Universe. Meaning Broly can kill the Dead and thus not only Destroy Hulks body, but his Soul. Thus leaving no possible way to come back from the dead even.
28:55 There was a Hercule Satan VS Dan Hibiki Dragon Ball vs Street Fighter) and Beerus vs Sailor Galaxia (Dragon Ball vs Sailor Moon). I recommend you guys watch those death battles.
I like new Brolly much more. That being said, he seems way too broken... That fight in the Brolly movie was his first fight...ever.... he is just insane...
To be fair I said this as a comment for the original video, I knew Hulk was gonna lose cause its fucking Broly and because of all of Hulk's alternate personalities that it was gonna be a good fight but it was a losing battle.
In the comics Hulk is physically the strongest (not the most powerful) marvel character. His high end feats include deystroying an entire dimension, deystroying a universe, and deystroying the entire multiverse. His base level feats include Catching and supporting a collapsing 150 billion ton mountain range using barely any leverage. (Marvel Heroes Secret Wars #4) Tearing through a bunker designed to resist the explosion of a multi-kilo-ton weapon. (Incredible Hulk #177) Matching the Super-Adaptoid, who had acquired strength and durability of over a hundred heroes like Iron Man and the Vision. (Incredible Hulk #469) Closing the door of a nuclear core that the combined efforts of Thor and the Thing couldn't budge. (Incredible Hulk Annual 1997) Matching two Avengers teams during a prolonged period of time even though the Hulk was gradually weaker due to a physical separation from Banner (Incredible Hulk #321-322) Unleashing intense gamma energy shock waves from his body, Hulk almost destroyed the entire East Coast with a single footstep, while also threatening to destroy the entire planet... and even then he was revealed to be greatly holding back! (World War Hulk #5) Destroying the Crypto Man after its physical strength became superior to that of even Thor (Incredible Hulk #205) Overpowering Thor on several occasions (Hulk: Let the Battle Begin #1, Incredible Hulk #440, Mighty Thor #385, Avengers Assemble #4) Pushing two spheres of matter and antimatter apart (Marvel Team up Annual Two #2) Pulling and holding the tectonic plates of a planet together, a planet that's mass and gravity far exceed that of Earth (Incredible Hulk #99) overpowering sufficient force to change the orbit (Tales of astonish #89) Destroying a planet and the surrounding planets/moons in the Dark Dimension, threatening the entire dimensional/universal realm (The Incredible Hulks #634-635) Destroying an asteroid that's twice the size of Earth in a single blow (Marvel Comics Presents #52) Applying force to the space-time structure itself to prevent the Defenders from being absorbed into a fissure (Defenders #3) Smashing and crushing Adamantium with his bare hands (Incredible Hulk #228; Marvel Team-up Annual #2) Overpowering and shattering Onslaught's armor, whose power and armor were equal to those of a Celestial (Onslaught: Marvel Universe #1) Sending concussive energy through countless dimensions after clashing with Ironclad (Incredible hulk #305) Destroying Nightmare's Realm with his sheer power alone (The Incredible Hulk #299) Crushing the enchanted uru hammer of Nul: Breaker of Worlds with his bare hands when The Serpent/Cul and his avatars known as The Worthy were at the height of their power (Fear Itself: Hulk vs. Dracula #3)
What annoys me is they said Superman's powers are infinite, but that's not true. He has literally run out of Solar Energy before, leaving him powerless. Plus, Super Saiyan Blue is universe destroying level and they literally threw him against Supes when he had NO FEATS to properly measure its full power. And now he has Ultra Instinct mastered (in the manga), which is even stronger
Yeah but I doubt they'll do that since it means admitting they're wrong. I mean just look at Wonder Woman vs Thor, they nerfed Thor so hard that they may as well have usd his MCU version. and I'm pretty sure they straight up contradicted themselves on what Wonder Woman could do in a later fight when she fought She-Ra. It's stuff like that that has led me to believe that the crew at death battle pick who they think is going to be the winner, in certain matchups where the person who lost clearly should have won, and then craft a narrative around it support who they choose. Cherry picking the best feats and abilities for the one they want to win while disregarding things for the person they want to lose.
@@unversedhero6028 Sneezing Solar Systems away is one of his biggest feats and even that is a little difficult to measure his full strength. The infinite paged book doesn't weight infinite. Hell, I think they straight up admit its wei b ht adjusts to the holder in the comics
I kinda consider the red sun argument for Goku v Superman moot. First off, Goku has to figure that fact out and he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed (which would be Batman's sole advantage over him, but not much else). Second, Goku wouldn't want to fight a weakened Superman. Third, if he found out about it, he'd probably wanna fight supes under a yellow or blue sun to give him more of a challenge. Finally, you need to read Death Metal, supes has been reaching new peaks as well these past few years.
17:45 it’s actually now called Super Saiyan Blue but I like to call the Red haired form just Saiyan God since it has the base form Hair and I call the Blue haired form Super Saiyan God since it has the Super Saiyan Hair.
There have been eight Dragon Ball characters on Death Battle. Vegeta won, Hercule won, 18 won, Roshi won, Buu lost, Beerus won, Broley won, and Goku lost twice.
They have explained why Superman will defeat Goku 1,000 times over. As strong as Goku is, he still has his limits where as Superman technically doesn't have any limits at all. Not trying to start an argument or anything, that's just what they said based on how the characters' backstories were made. Goku is a character made to have limits that he can test and try to overcome. Yes, usually with enough training and whatnot, he can overcome those limits and push himself farther, but he still technically has those limits. Superman's character was designed in a way to basically have no limits to what he can do. Essentially, as long as Superman is in sunlight and can absorb the sun's energy, he will continue to grow stronger indefinitely.
Goku vs Superman is pointless. Ultra Instinct you say? Superman’s Theta State is basically the same thing. Breathing in Space? Superman can, but Goku cannot. It has never been proven that Saiyans can breathe in space. They still need an atmosphere. Goku can break the Universe? Superman breaks reality casually. Death Battle has stated that Superman isn’t necessarily suitable for Death Battles like this. Sure, there’s Darkseid, Thor, and other beings who can indeed break reality too, but unless you are a God or someone who’s extra dimensional, Superman kinda has them beat.
I agree with the idea that Death Battle should probably do a part 3 of Goku vs Superman. Considering that the last one was immediately after Battle of Gods and that Goku's gotten a multitude of power ups since then that make him hundreds or maybe even thousands of times stronger than his previous battle with Superman, things might be different, or at least more even than before.
@@ravenaussie3760 I mean, I may be a Dragonball fan (in case my profile doesn't make that obvious) but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy watching people who care WAY too much about non-canon hypothetical fights between fictional characters getting butthurt by the outcome. I don't even care who wins, I just wanna see the comment section of that video lose their minds, because no matter what the outcome is, there's gonna be truckloads of salt.
30:34 "In a fight, Goku would destroy Superman." Well, he wouldn't, but okay. 30:59 "Batman is able to go toe-to-toe with Superman." In fights where Superman is holding back and Batman is wearing a specific armour. 31:04 "There's no f**ing possible way that outside of the Red Sun, Superman could handle Goku." A Red Sun is something that weakens him, it doesn't empower him. 31:37 "They've made the Dragon Ball characters literal deities." Yes, but only in the Dragon Ball Universe, Superman is more powerful, yet he isn't even considered a god in his own universe.
I believe they implied a normal straight up fight. Goku is a martial artist and Superman at the end of the day is basically just a brawler. Goku in a hand to hand combat fight would probably (keyword) beat Superman, especially if Ultra Instinct Goku pops in because Superman more than likely wouldn't really be able to touch him. It's fairly rare whenever UI Goku takes a hit, if he does, he's normally fine right afterwards anyways.
@@DarkPaladinX77 I'd still have to disagree, Superman is an expert in Torquasm-Vo and Torquasm-Rao, and has been trained by Batman, someone who is a master in all martial-arts known to man.

But it has been shown before that Goku will use his enemies weaknesses to get the better of them if necessary. This is DEATHBATTLE, not a tournament.
Also they used every superman into instead of picking a version of superman each superman is hugely different from each other lol
@@Black_ReaperKai They actually avoided Silver Age Superman b/c he's way too overpowered.
My problem with the second Goku vs Superman video was that they made it almost immediately after Super Sayian Blue was created and they used the excuse that "Superman is as strong as he needs to be" in order to negate any and all power levels. Well he's been weak enough to also lose so...
Christ, they could have used the New 52 Superman and gave them a win!
Yep
What made me hate it was how easy they made the win.
10:53 Doc Sampson. He's basically a gamma powered super therapist.
Who (judging from his track record, intentionally or unintentionally) makes his patients worse or incite violence.
10:50 No that's Doc Samson he's a psychiatrist and a friend of Hulk, who got his gamma powers after exposing himself to a ray that had absorbed Hulk's powers in an attempt to cure Bruce and save Betty who was turned into a crystalized form.
The first time I saw this death battle the one thing that surprised me is Hulk's head coming off and his body still moving without it😀.
Yeah, a lot has happened since 2016.

@@HB-fq9nn It's not just normal Hulk, it's a separate version.
And that's what makes him boring at this point.

Superman 3" means Goku will be given the Broly treatment in this video and his power will finally be scaled with honor and consistency (not to mention the addition of Ultra Instinct), while Superman will be given the Hulk treatment in this video and they will only focus on a single version of him from the universe most fans are used to in the comics, and after all of that we get another epic 3D battle, then let me make this clear:
I'm all down for it.
But couldn't Batman beat Superman even though he's overpowered?

I d say hulk is multiversal he went toe to toe with Zeus in his base form..but like always they have missed many things

@@Mojo1356 Try telling that to Chad, he'd just tell you to 31:52.
@@Mojo1356homie they literally said in the video JUST IN SSJ3 Goku was 30x stronger than Hulk. And considering just going from 3 to Blue could be a thousands of times difference and then factoring in Ultra Instinct could potentially be thousands of times stronger than that… Goku decimates Hulk
Okay now I see your point.

It's not petty when it's fact, they received a lot of request and they had to make it clear to the DB fans that Goku isn't beating superman, other wise they would ask for 3,4 and so on until Goku wins so they are satisfied.

i love how they relate power with strength in death battle. its not that broly is x times stronger then the hulk. its that hes way more powerful as in power, energy, ki etc. hulk prob as strong maybe stronger but ki allows broly to alter his stats, spd, ranged attacks etc. however it costs power aka ki to do...technically if battle went on long enough, broly would run out of ki but hulk could keep smashing as he doesnt use power source to make him powerful...the only true question is can hulk one punch broly before broly can power up and can broly energy blast hulk to oblivion before hulk wears him down and over takes him
Also, another thing they don't consider. No Nate, that was Doc Samson, super hero and psychiatrist in Marvel, not Flash Gordon.
That's only the nerfed versions of Superman though.

Just a heads up Nate and Chad, but Season 8 will have only rivalry matchups. Please could you react to the season, it looks to be really cool
RT will still say Superman, based on "He has no limits".
Finally, you need to read Death Metal, supes has been reaching new peaks as well these past few years.
you can't both pick the same guy, see him lose, and be surprised that you BOTH lost...
No, Roshi won
@@chrismanning2888 Ah, right, he did. Thanks for that.
9:30 numbers like that don''t even phase me because of cookie clicker
I think I'd recommend watching seththeprogramer's video on it, he does good job explaining it better
Is that my favorite hat guy I see! 💚😁
It will, however, prove to be of the same outcome, and the Dragon Ball community will not be happy...
so, I agree with you.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince You and me, both, dude, it'll certainly be enjoyable for the sheer amount of salt that comes with it.
Hulk's last opponent on this show was Doomsday from DC Comics.
There was after credits, you keep skipping the end when that is the best part, and you missed many good death battles from the past!
And now Broly gonna train with Beerus and Whis. (Newest movie)
Here is a suggestion, when watching a video, at least watch it till the end.
How many TFS references was in this video .
Yes

They're not going to do a part three of goku and superman cuz they're tired of the arguments and of people constantly demanding it plus it doesn't matter who wins if it's goku's win then superman fans will riot if superman wins goku fans will riot so they've given up and aren't putting up another Goku vs Superman
Ok 1 comment everyone is taking about this fight right! this is of the Hook it could of been longer doe! HULK'S INCREDIBLE!
If they did a Part 3 for Goku vs Supes they'd have to acknowledge they fucked up their math.
It depends on the version of superman. If they made Goku fight like Cosmic Armor Superman, Superman curbstomps goku with little to no difficulty. If they made goku fight like New 52 superman, then goku more than likely wins that one.
They’re not gonna do a part 3 of Goku vs superman. It’s tiring and want to move on. It’s never gonna happen and never will.
Despite how powerful world war hulk, galaxy hulk or whatever all the diffrent names they use for him is, there is no way hulk can stand up to full power Broly.
18:00 they uh stopped calling it that it's just super Saiyan blue now
The Hulk needs to rest or recharge and becomes Banner. Superman well they keep changing his power set.
You say Goku is stronger but Superman has lifter both eternity and infinity and is only weak to Magic and Kryptonite which Goku doesn't have

"Humor us"....no they probably wont because, as theyve stated twice now (though im paraphrasing here), superman is bullshit. The only times he really loses, is when the writers decide it fits the story, he is not a hood death battle character and undoubtedly never will be
Technically Hulk would still be alive, he just needs some years to come out of hell.
Months minimum
I've remember they mentioned in one of their podcasts that it doesn't count, unless they come back to life on the spot.
Nate: This is a win for Dragon Ball, because Goku has been on and lost twice
(Two DB Spoilers Below)
