@@IndieMusicMinute I know what you mean, but the league has tolerated way too much. Allowing players to scream and swear at refs every single game? I played at the top level of my sport and certainly got heated on occasion. Never like Draymond. Every game he has the potential to be kicked out… most games he probably deserves it

@@IndieMusicMinutenope. The coach, gm, owner, commissioner all could punish him, like you do a child that won't listen. You have a wide range of punishnent: from huge fines to obligatory psychiatric counseling as long as he works for NBA. All the way up to being suspended with much higher penalties: 82games. 164games. The league and team facilitate his behaviour and the penalties were few and laughable.
Real consequences will either force change or he will be out. That's how you deal with addicts, you don't allow them to dictate to you. And you don't give them 136 strikes.

It would be nice just to hear Steph say, “this is ridiculous he needs to grow up”
Draymond needs to know Steph is tired of it. Yeah Steph needs him but send a strong message that Steph and the team are getting rid of him if this happens again.
He needs to care about the team like he cares about his podcast.

Let's see how long it takes for Dray to get ejected again. Or will he learn something finally and be a good teammate. I highly doubt it!

Warriors fans actually argue that Draymond is a HOF player. They really say that. That’s like saying Will Perdue is a HOF player.

Draymond is DEFINITELY getting into the HoF. Sorry to break it to you. Bill Sharman, Paul Arizin, and a bunch of high school coaches are in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Draymond might as well give his acceptance speech tomorrow.

KB warriors and talking heads need to stop blaming Steph. This is squarely on Draymond for his actions, and partly on Kerr and Silver for being too soft and setting the wrong precedent. Stern wouldn’t have tolerated any of this long ago.

They didn’t pull him away because Jordan Poole was once clocked. They all remember and don’t want that same smoke. I genuinely believe that.
Dray would (already has) punch someone on the court 💯 He’s a toxic liability and they never should have given them that massive contract.

  • @Ishai1
    @Ishai1 หลายเดือนก่อน

    My two thoughts on this
    1. At least this time he didn't sucker punch some guy (or whatever we'd call throwing his arms while spinning)
    2. The question isn't about his commitment to the Warriors, it's about the Warriors commitment to him, or really Lacob, Steph, and Kerr.
Lacob said he wants the core trio to be Warriors for life, and he repeated that even after Green's issues earlier this year.
Steph has been very loyal to his guys, it's one of the reasons the Warriors kept Draymond instead of Poole (you could assume that removing Green would've helped Poole get back to it, while still being on Steph's team, on the Wizards he was acting like the guy and imploded).
At some point Kerr might say enough is enough. He's been fed up with Draymond in the past but at the time the contributions were still so important. If the team is no longer a contender, does it make sense for him to deal with this nonsense all the time?
That ad is in such poor taste. You can poke fun of something that's in your past and you resolved, if you're doing it while still having that problem it's just bad.

You're right ... I think if they had kept Poole and traded Draymond then maybe Poole plays more like he did before all the Draymond drama.

Everything being said about Draymond now and for the past year is stuff that we all knew, that his teammates know, and that the organization knew before resigning him to a $100 million dollar contract. The Warriors chose this. This is who he is, always was, and always will be as an athlete. He literally hasn’t changed, even after the suspensions and fines, his own teammates don’t care because not one of them checked this man, they probably remember him clocking Poole not too long ago 😂

Green is a malcontent who cannot control himself. In the AT&T commercial, he stares right into the camera and says, "you are left with one decision, and that's to grow." You don't have to be a basketball savant to understand what Green means by "grow". And here we are again watching a game that Green is participating in and within minutes, is getting kicked out because of something intolerable that he has done. He has not grown.

I am a lifelong Warriors fan, but I blame so much of this on Steph Curry.
Steph is an all-time great. Everything the Warriors do is filtered through Steph just like Lebron or Kobe or MJ.
The difference is that Steph is literally too loyal and too nice. The changes the Warriors need to make cannot happen until Steph concedes to the fact that Klay and Green need to be changed out.
